Love,love,love USAA. I just recently called State Farm to see if they could offer me lower rates. They quoted me almost $200 more a year! Ouch! So, needless to say, I stayed with USAA. I've never had to submit a claim against them, so I'm not sure how that works. But, I've never had a problem with them! They offer flexible payment options as well!

At the website, you will find a summary of numerous other actions where USAA has explicitly and systematically sought to evade its legal responsibility to settle claims. When USAA looses in lower courts, it appeals. And USAA almost seems to specialize in refusing to settle claims where children have been severely hurt.

customer service and rates are affordable.. very customer friendly..

A little more expensive than low cost insurers like 20th Century or Mercury. Limited availability (Member of US Military (officers, esp) or dependent of one).

The company is outstanding and offers far more than just auto insurance products. Customer service is great.

The price is a bit higher, but portions of the premium are frequently rebated to customers (either by check or in a savings type account) based on claims history that year. They are a cooperative type company and I believe are not for profit - like a credit union to benefit their members.

Very competitive prices and friendly, competent service. The overall service is excellent and there is no need to change insurance companies. Paperwork is being processed quickly. Have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Only available to active duty military, veterans, and dependents. No local branch offices, though that has not posed a problem.

Pay about $420 for six month premium on a mid-sized late model car. I would highly recommend USAA to anyone who is eligible. You will not be disappointed with the rates and the sercice you receive. Just keep your driving record reasonably clean so they won't terminate your insurance.

I have never received bad service from USAA. There billing reports are easy to understand and calling customer service does not mean an hour on the phone waiting. They allways answer right after I type in our member number. Calling to get quotes is easy and they are willing to do as many cars as you would like. Rates are much lower then others.

USAA is simply the BEST! Very attentive when you need them! And they are Highly selective in their associations (ex: Body shops etc.)
And not to mention the Many other USAA services, oh yea and the Dividend checks!

I was with USAA for 22 yrs. Its growth has, I believe, resulted in too many employees who are unfamiliar with some
of the more difficult matters. Especially true vis a vis Annuities.

I would recommend USAA for those who are eligible, and have few-to-none questions.
