I was rear-ended by this lady who has this insurance. On that incidence she clearly accepted that it was her fault and offered to take my car the closest shop. I was on the rush so I just took her insurance and contact number. Apparently, a mistake I've learned 'coz after she talked to her insurance she is now on denial. Her insurance guy spoke to me several times insisting that my car back up on the middle of the road even though I was driving automatic (Ridiculous!)and offered the lady to brought her car to the nearest shop (CONSPIRACY!). I ended up paying everything and even my medical, including dental because I ended up grinding teeth on my sleep 'coz of anger.

They will fight tooth & nail not to pay for anything! My agent didn't do a claim when I first called her about a bad storm. Beware of agents that say it wont even meet your deductable when you have a lot of damage!!

I had only 1 claim with Farmers on our house & they gave me the run around for a month. My agent commented that it was settling b4 anyone even looked at it at all! When the claims guy came he said it's settling! Then he commented well if someone else has a dif finding call me & I will reopen the claim. I got an inspector paid him $100. to find out the cause & he said our expossed beam was cracked by high winds & there was no reason to think it was settling at all.

Farmers has very unprofessional staff working for them. My husband was hit (from the rear) by one of farmers clients. When we contacted Farmers, it took almost 2 WEEKS before I received any information about the condition of my vehicle. Then, it took another week before they FINALLY determined that it was totaled. And it took ANOTHER WEEK to receive a check for the value of my car. What a waste of time! With Geico, the whole process wouldve taken about a week (if that) tops.

Beware of Luis Cervantes working on your claim (he's the one that took 2 weeks to finally contact me, and he's rude), or his manager Crystal Williams (she does not return calls - and she'll get one of her colleagues to handle her work). Ask for someone else to handle your claim if possible.

Oh yea, I know there's alot of people that pretend they're "hurt" in a car accident just to get extra money. but my husband really did get hurt. A rep from farmers by the name of Christina, went on vacation for 2 weeks in the midst of reimbursing us for the hospital bill. And they told my husband that he had to wait for her to come back because she had all his paperwork. WTF! Farmers and all their employees can kiss my ass!!

Farmers Insurance is the WORST auto insurance company that I have ever experienced. We recently were rear-ended by an uninsured motorist. It took 7 days for the adjustor to get in touch with us. Then we learned that our agent had dropped the uninsured Motorist collision - but not injury - from our policy without telling us.
I am left high and dry with a $3000 expense thanks to their incompetence.
DON'T RISK INSURING WITH FARMERS!

I have been a long time customer of Farmers Insurance. We have both our cars, life insurance policies and home owner's as well. Our agent Carl Grifo is awesome. Responsive, caring and compassionate. I am sure that there are many, many other less expensive insurance companies out there. Please remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

I have had a couple of incidents with the vehicles. Farmer's has NEVER, let me repeat that, NEVER denied a claim. Their HelpPoint Claim center staff is great. They respond quickly, get your car to one of their approved repair stations and they get the job done. All the while communicating with you.

If you go to a low cost insurance company, expect low cost results.

i called my farm bureau office in Dickson Tn, this may not hold true for all offices but it most certainly has for mine, as i called multiple times with the same result.

I called asking a question about my insurance, and Allyson (sp?) refused to answer any question I had, and felt that it was better lecture me that i could not take any loaner vehicle from a shop and that they had no right to give me one. I called twice in the hope of somebody better. Both times I was transferred to her, after looking up Allyson on there website I found out she is not even licensed to sell insurance, yet she still kept talking. Eventually she went on what can only be considered a rant by the politest of people and ended with she did not have to talk to me implying she was above talking with clients.

Long term member with Farmers, they had good rates compared to others and never bothered to switch but may soon. My agent has been real nice. Around renewal time I'd get special discounts on my monthly rate, and then the monthly rate would creep back up. They ripped me off on a claim, estimate was 5k for repair and Farmers offered only half. Tough to recommend a company that scams me.

We have been with Farmers Insurance for over three years now and we couldn't be more pleased. I've read the negative reviews on this site, and I'm happy to say that we've never had any problems with our policy because of our agent, Mark Reeder. Mark has returned our calls promptly every single time we called and he is always kind and helpful. He answers our questions and explains things clearly. I really wish there were more insurance agents like him because getting into an accident is stressful enough without having to fight with your own insurance company.

Offered me a discounted rate and then raised my rate a couple months after getting me to switch. Very deceptive. Never had a claim. BEWARE

It's been a nightmare during the 4 months with Farmers. All calls to their claim department roll to mail box and would probably not be replied. The monthly bill is very confusing. Never buy farmers.
