After reading several reviews I went with the Delta Flow Series After install and driving,it just wasnt as LOUD as I had thought it should have been. Needless to say I was not happy. My next step was remove the CAT. CONVERTER, Man what a differance. I didnt think a 4.3 could sound so good. SWEET wish you could hear it.

Very loud when you start the car up. very loud when you drive, it loves the low RPMS. m

Weakness:

The Tone is alot more different than my Taurus, its more higer, and raw I think?

Hey, I'm the guy with the p!mped out 91 Taurus. I got the 40 sires with duel, chrome, pipes. Its very nice. I would suggest it to anyone that wants to make there V6 sound like a V8. I could not afford the V8 after selling my Taurus!! HA! I did not get the 40 sires delta flow. because I read the reviews and saw that it was not liked. I wanted the interior noise! and I got it! I say, If you have a v6, get the 40 sires. V8 get he 50 sires, or duel 40 sires. If you have a 4 banger, get the 60 sires! people may say otherwise! e

aggresive tone on some cars (its hard to make a V10 sound good)

Weakness:

hear more air than muffler and extremly loud in the cab

The muffler is cool but it makes my truck sound like its grasping for air. I am changing to dual 70 series flowmasters next month and i know i will be happier with that

Awesome sound and capabilities, once you have it, you won't consider changing your mind.

Weakness:

It might be a little too loud for the daily driver, but hey.......it's a Flowmaster

The Flowmaster 40 series muffler is a heck of a deal for the money, it's a real head turner and it sounds impeccable. My V6 sounds like a V8, an awesome growl when the pedal is to the floor, even at idle it sounds remarkable. I would reccomend this muffler to anyone that wants that wonderful Flowmaster tone and more horsepower.

sound, price isn't that bad (got it for $46)

Weakness:

not as loud at idle, but for a 4, what do you expect?

i know that with a 4 i cant get the "V8" rumble, but took my chances with a Flowmaster 40 series (original flows). the delta is not as loud. boy, for a 2.3l truck, this is as deep of a tone as you will get. when accelerating my ears hurt from the bass sound of the muffler. it is sooo deep sounding. i have a turndown right before the axle.
