Strength:

LOOKS PHAT, light weight

Weakness:

PAIN in the #$@ to install, my car is an odd ball vehicle, it took some adjusting for it to fit to my CAt converter. I spent more on labor than I paid for the header.

THis piece looks great compared to the stock manifold. ITs alot lighter, and is compact. Ive only had it for a little while, but I first noticed the increase in exhaust output-better and louder sound from my cat-back greddy sp.

Strength:

Perfect fit. Great instructions. Quality overall from DC was impressive, everything matched just right.
So much litter then stock, you'll be amaze of the difference.

Weakness:

Sits lower than stock, bottomed out once and scraped it. Be carefull if your just getting one.
There is one "nut" the is really hard to get to when you install it to the engine head, but not a big deal if you have tools.

Overall the best investment for my car, dollar for dollar this has made the most difference. Alittle torque was lost from idle but once you get going the car has so much power it wants to put out that you feel it wanting more. The is a great feeling.

Strength:

I like how it fits like stock. It takes more time to uninstall the old stock exhaust manifold than attaching the DC header. And it looks super cool in the engine bay. Ceramic coating does not fade in color and always stay silvery.
Performance wise, i feel HP gains thru all the powerband starting from 2K rpm. Just a slight loss in power when launching from idle but once you hit the 2K, power rushes in.

Weakness:

As any header, it generates more heat than stock exhaust manifold, but i believe ceramic headers are cooler than SS. No heat wrap is required. No hurt in performance so far. No weakness found in workmanship quality.

I strongly recommend DC ceramic header over any other. For fit, quality and appearance. And recommend the 4-2-1 for the streets and daily driving. I haven´t feel much loss of low end torque as others say. I think that matching the header with an extremely low restrictive exhaust system like Tanabe R Medallion or Apex'i N1 is the cause for loss of low end torque. I matched my DC header with GReddy SP exhaust and all I can say are good things. A match made in heaven.

I can only compare it to stock manifold but it can't get even close. The stock manifold is hefty, rust prone and restrictive.

Strength:

Hp Gains Throughout the powerband, OEM Fitting, easy installation and great overall performance...

Weakness:

I bought a 4 into 1 CC Header and it had a leak in the collector (where all four pipes connect) and was not able to fix problem. I took it to muffler shop and they advised that a new header be installed since it was useless to have the header with the leak.

I think DC needs to package the headers better for shipping cuz when I received my header the package was all dented and so was my header. Atleast use some of those foam peanuts in the box to protect against dammage but all that was in this enormous box was a peice of card board that held the header in place. Also if they can test each header for leaks before they are allowed to be shipped out would be great..

Strength:

Light weight, improves engine performance.

Weakness:

I had troubles aligning and bolting the two pieces.

The first thing I noticed is the weight difference between the stock exhaust manifold and the DC 2 piece ceramic. Plus the DC was much easier to install. I also changed the stock gasket with one from Mr Gasket. Sealed real well. Be carefull torquing the nuts on the studs, I snapped the last one!@!#! Guess that's another project. Power increase was very noticeable! Works beautifully with my Thermal cat-back exhaust and my intake.

Strength:

Much Lighter then stock headers. Dropped RPM's, faster and better gas milage.

Weakness:

Turned slighty in color but that was expected. Going to wrap them anyway...

I first put on an AEM intake, then Tanabe racing medallion exhuast so this was the last thing I installed. I noticed a difference in the above "Strengths". BTW- I purchased the 4-2-1 One Piece Ceramic Headers

Model Reviewed: for '90 Integra

Strength:

-definate increase in performance noticed
-the whole 2 piece unit is lighter than the stock upper exhaust manifold piece
-excellent fit and construction

Weakness:

-Can't really say anything bad except that DC headers are not cheap.

A header gives the most noticable exhaust system power increase compared to an intake or cat-back system. And the DC Ceramic Header for the integra definately lets you feel an increase in power. It's not a monster increase, but its like you gain an extra gear almost when cruising on the highway. I was initially concerned about extra heat that a performance header could cause, but as I wrapped the Header with DEI fiberglass wrap with a few layers of DEI HT Aluminum Silicone coating it seems to be just fine if not cooler than stock. For the performance you get from the header it's worth the price.

Stock Header - The DC header is better all around. It's lighter, increases power in the midrange and on up (4,000+ rpm), and it doesn't seem to lose any low end torque.

Strength:

Great horsepower increase. works great with aem cold air intake. looks good. and adds thrust when the vtec kicks in. not to mention its carb legal.

Weakness:

in my opinion there are no weaknesses in this product.

i paid 350, plus 100 for install. it was kind of expensive, but for what i received in hp, i was not complaining. this header is a little more expensive than some of the products out there, but if you are going to spend money on a header, why not put it a few more dollars and get one of the best?! awsome header for hondas.

Similar Products Used:

it is actually better than most headers out there. it is the best for its price thats for sure. most companies claim to give anywhere from 5 to 11 hp increase, but thats not always true. I was very impressed with the dc header.
