Strength:
It is so much lighter, and it does not eat too much gas if at all. Looks nice but it ends there. Maybe it works better on civics.
Weakness:
YOU HAVE TO GET AN EXHAUST WITH this. Too bad they don''t tell you earlier on the box... or else you wouldn''t feel short changed. Sortta fits the adage "once you start, you can''t stop!" Your gonna end up buying a full cat-back just like me! This is a real so-so purchase. From what i hear DC sport is the name to buy. However, if i were to buy this new 600plus can $ I would have sworn i got ripped. It is really lighter than stock and i do rev easier to the VTEC range but i don''t feel 600.00 dollars worth of difference. So as for as $ vs performance it ain''t worth it. Mind you i don''t have a performance exhaust so maybe i am not feeling everything. But hey the books say 4hps more by itself??? instant performance gains, adds to the look under the engine..adds great growl to your engine
Weakness:
none i love this thing...before i just had the intake and exhaust and i didn''t know what i was missing until i put the header on...right away i noticed a great performance gain...the deep growls stopped coming from the exhaust and started coming from the engine...plus i know it''s hard to believe but my gas mileage improved a bit...i chose the ceramic header because i didn''t want the stainless steel ones to change color really fast and i didn''t really want to take care of them...the ceramic ones were just more for me...installation is pretty easy as long as you have the right tools.. Strength:
Great build quality and looks. Easy install, noticable power gains.
Weakness:
starting to rust alittle around the flanges I installed the header myself, and it was real easy. I felt a noticable increase in power in the midrange(especially right befor the cam change-over and right after) Sounds great. Improved throttle response. I purchased a 4-2-1 ceramic coated, and perfer more midrange (everyday driving) gains than 1 or 2 more hp in the top end (w/4-1 setup) Similar Products Used: comptech header |

Ceramic coating= less under hood heat. Headers + Greddy Evo catback=better breathabilty and slightly better gas milage.
Weakness:
Ceramic coating= less life than Stainless steel This with cat-back minus Short Ram instake=Asthma for the car I bought the DC Sports 4-2-1 headers to replace the stock manifold. I noticed that the RMPS swug through the mid range quicker after the headers were installed. I noticed a slight increase in power, didn''t have to down shift on some hills that I used to. I did notice less heat under the hood also, which helps my AEM Short RAM air intake out. Similar Products Used: Stock |

Strength:
very noticable hp and torque increase in low rpm range. simple install.
Weakness:
not the cheapest header available would have been 30 min install if stud in head hadn''t broke. other than that, most of the time is spent busting the bolts off the old manifold(and i do mean busting!) i got the ceramic coated 4-2-1. |

Ceramic coating to prevent corrorion, larger pipes.
Weakness:
none I had written a review about Chikara headers on my 1990 CRX Si. I got tired of the ugly looking Chikaras and decided to buy some DC ceramics. I replaced the corroded Chikaras with DCs and immediately noticed an increase in power. The Chikara header was ok but DC is definately superior in quality and performance due to the ceramic coating and slightly larger diameter pipes. Similar Products Used: Chikara |

Strength:
Great power across the board.
Weakness:
Slight hissing sound on upshifts-just the sound of the gases passing through the headers to the cat. Love it! Noticed the extra power from the first drive. There is power in all areas and no discernable loss anywhere. Similar Products Used: Stock. |

Better Engine responses, The Car Breathes BEtter. A must have product, if you''re into performance.
Weakness:
Too early to tell. DC Ceramic Coated Header is definately worth the money for your imports. Before, I have only Intake/Exhaust/Stock Headers. After installing the DC CC Headers, every single gear pulls, and you get better responses. 2 Thumbs Up Similar Products Used: None. This is my first products. |

The looks! Excellent quality. DC Sports is well known for their headers. Rated #1 by Sport Compact Car Magazine
Weakness:
None right now Bought the 4-2-1 one piece. Price wasn't too bad. After all, DC Sports makes one of the best. I saw a lot of brands that were cheaper, but don't trust them. Eazy to install even though it was my first. Nice response with the AEM cold air intake, and Thermal R & D exhaust. 96-98 Civics come stock with a manifold and 99-00 Civics come stock with a cast iron header, so you will see a bigger difference in HP with the earlier models. You definitely need an aftermarket intake and exhaust with this application. I heard I can get more power with a racing cat converter? Will see. Similar Products Used: stock cast iron header- |
