Strength:

Really nice looking header Adds bottom-end Good directions Quality part

Weakness:

Hard as hell to install(2piece) Instructions require lots to do, sorta unecessary.

Installation was silly hard. Getting the bolts off was so hard, and it's a new car, yknow? The old header looks just like the DC unit except it looks dirty and rusted. But afterwards I felt the power! I got a tanabe racing super medallion, and an AEM cold air intake. THing is, after we put it on, we realized we didn't put in one of the o-rings. I was sorta worried, but I don't feel any LOSS of power, so I guess it's ok? Can anyone tell me if this is alrite?

Strength:

Easy to install, great instructions great new look under the hood for first mods.

Weakness:

I haven't found any yet.

I bought these headers about mid May along with the DC sports Twin can cat back exhaust. The headers were a breeze to install approximately a half an hour. No modifications or problems were encountered. I'd highly recommend these headers. I've driven my car about 10,000 miles since installing them and they still look brand new unlike other ceramic headers where the paint starts peeling off.

Strength:

they sound great revving high, a notice in power from 4-5k rpm and up.

Weakness:

Underhood temps are greatly increased. Low end torque sacrificed if dont have cat back exhaust.

I installed these in 4 hours. It was a tough job, just got to get the bolts loose. These headers are great, you feel the horsepower and torque only in the high end, 5-8k rpm. but there are 2 weaknesses. First, underhood temperatures dramatically increased. Secondly, i noticed a drop in low end torque below 3.5k rpm. I have only an intake installed. If you have exhaust, it will help overcome the low end torque problem a little bit.

Strength:

-Great quality and craftsmanship. -Looks great. -Easy install with the right tools. -About 7 wheel hp gain. -Its a DC Sports header!

Weakness:

-I burned myself really bad on it! Had huge puss-filled blisters on three fingers. Dont touch the header for at least like 3 hours after running the engine for any length of time. I had my engine running for about 2 minutes when I first installed it and for some stupid reason I touched one of the primary tubes and it burned the fingerprints off my fingers! Its hot!

what can i say?

DC Sports brand is great product quality. Never had problems with it. Extremely well made.

Weakness:

None, I have alot of DC Sports stuff on my car and never had problems with any of it.

Well, just writing a simple review. Had my current DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Headers for about 2 and half years now. I paid $385 Installed. Never had problems with it. Seriously never had any problems with cracking or whatever performance say about the ceramics. I love it, I feel the gains but that's because I have others Mods, too. The only problem I have now is my bent flex pipe but that's 100% my fault tried to go over huge speed bumps in Plano, Texas even with car lowered. Seeking to buy another one in Ceramic or Stainless Steel, Soon.

Strength:

sound pulls harder on midrange power 2-3 gear. the screaming noise it makes(maybe just the intake and it combined?)

Weakness:

none

I bought my DC ceramic 4-2-1 and also AEM cold air intake both for $250. It was the best $250 i've spent on my Si so far. The Intake and header made a dramatic night and day difference when the v-tec kicks in at about 5,500 rpm! its screams down the block with heads turning! also the apex N1 catback helps it...but even without that the header shows improvement..really recommend it if you can get your hands on it at a reasonable price!

i dont know the diff. between the steel one and the ceramic as far as performance, but i can tell you from the stock to the ceramic (which i did) it is a definite + in the high rev category, as i replaced from my headers all the way back. EXCELLENT PRODUCT, would recommend. one other thing; it gets really hot, so dont touch it, i did and got burned. it hurts a lot!

Looks great under the hood Gives exhaust a meaner growl Much lighter than stock headers

Weakness:

Kinda pricey for what it does Didn''t notice much increase in horse power

These headers look great in the engine. I didn''t really notice a big increase in power, but my exhaust is a little louder. The installation is simple if you know what your doing.

Strength:

- nice mild steel design - an increase of 7 hp to the wheels - CARB exempt - Also came with a skid plate for lowered cars - Best header on the market

Weakness:

- A little expensive for just a 7 hp gain. - But other brands charge the same amount and offer less horsepower

I purchased a DC Sports 4-1 race ceramic header because this design was proven to produce more horsepower than the 4-2-1 design. Once I installed the header, I went to get my car dyno tested to see how much hp the header added. The results showed that I had gained 7 hp to the wheels. I was pretty satisfied with the results. It goes to show that people should only purchase the best brands when it comes to performance.
