Strength:

Awesome sound
Nice rumble and idle
Nice Welds
GReddy Embossed tip
Nice Canister
Nice gains throughout the powerband
Not too loud....

Weakness:

HUUUUUUUGGE tip that kinda looks stupid on a Civic, it's too big.
Gets somewhat loud when the car is warmed up...lots of bassy noise when accelerating, but it's not too bad. But the tip is like huge, it's almost the size of the muffler.

The exhaust is pretty good...No rust, nice gains in the powerband, not too loud. The welds are nice and clean, the muffler tucks up about an inch so it gives you super clearence when driving.

Similar Products Used:

Tanabe RM, GReddy SP. It is better than the RM, but I like the SP better...SP is smoother and quieter than the EVO, and the tip is only like 3.5 inches compared to 4.5 inches on the EVO. The SP kinda looks plain though...

Strength:

Great sound
Not too loud
Quality build
Shiny tip with GReddy logo

Weakness:

Tip is a bit big - 4"
big $$$$, but you get what you pay for

I love this exhaust. It has a deep (for a four banger) sound, but it's not too loud on the highway. I didn't not too much difference on the butt dyno, but the throttle response is better. Even if I gaing minimal HP the sound is awesome!

Similar Products Used:

I researched many different exhausts. It was a tough decision. I considered the Apexi N1 (too loud), DC Sports (usually doesn't fit well), Thermal (didn't like the stock looking tip).

Strength:

Perfect fit along with all the parts needed to intall.
The sound it make turns heads everywhere.

Weakness:

Lost low end torque, but not much.
The tip is large and you get to thinking how carefull you are going to have to be when you pull into a curb. This might be a problem when the car gets lowered.
If your installing it yourself, make sure to check the spacing of the heat sheilds after installation. My heat sheilds were left to close and made the exhuast rattle. Drove me crazy until i found the problem.

As i'm driving down the street i see people looking in there mirrors to see what car is chasing them down.
It turns heads everywhere i go.
I have had people while driving asking me what exhuast i have and where they can get one.
This is defenetly a great investment and would recommended it to everyone.
If your planning on having a quite exhuast this is not the one for you, but if you like making noise at low and especialy at high RPM's, this is the best.

Strength:

Very streeteable exhaust, power throughout the powerband, nice tone and product, and it has pretty good road clearance

Weakness:

Hits the heat shield at the bottom of the undercarriage and not as deep as the Apex-i N1, but it may not matter if you don't care about deep

Very highly streeteable exhaust, HP throughout the powerband. Hit heat shield at the bottom of my Civic so had to take that out to prevent rattling noises. I couldn't put one of the rubber mounts on the exhaust (the straight pipe that connects to the catalytic converter) because it was too close to the undercarriage of the car. Other than that, I was quite happy with it, even though I wish I still had my Apex-i N1 on there. The N1 was too low to the ground that it got pulled out when I hit a contraption on the road.

Similar Products Used:

Apex-i N1, I loved the N1 more, because it looks meaner and better, it was deeper and had a nicer tone. If you're looking for streeteable power the Evo is the one for you

Strength:

Screams at the high rpm's but you can keep it nice and quiet at the lower rpms when you want. Nice ground clearance.

Weakness:

None

I would recommend this because I put it on my car and I love it! It makes a nice deep tone(as much as you can expect for an Inline V4). This is a must do if you are planing to do anything to your hot import! Adds HP as well as a AMAZING SOUND compaired to the stock exhaust at high rpms. I also recomend the dc sports 4-1 header stainless steel.(Wrap it). I put this on my car at the same time. You could really feel the boost with that combo!

Strength:

Has a great low growl on lower rpms, but sounds ricey (tin can) at higher rpms...not too much of hp gain...huge tip, almost bigger than muffler,

Weakness:

sounds pretty cheap at the higher rpms, not a great looking exhaust

If you want sound and hp, greddy evo is not the exhaust you want. It sounds decent on low rpms, but really doesn't sound great at the higher end...hp gain is minimal. If you want sound, looks and power I would recommend the tanabe g-power...I would chose it over the evo.

AMAZING!!!!! SOUND, TOP END POWER, Did i mention sound :)
this exhaust is by far the best exhaust I have heard. It has givin me more top end, especially at the end of 3rd gear and up.

Weakness:

NONE

It doesnt compare to the others. It is deep, and crisp(no tin can ricey sound) and yet it isnt to loud. It DOESNT drone on the highway. Its awesome! If you are looking for a superb exhaust that wont say "HEY everyone look at me" but still gives you some good exhaust note, than this is the one. it also looks great!! plus it comes with a 3 year warranty

Greddy did a great job with the Evolution. Can tell there is more power. Ground clearance is a lifesaver, my car is dropped 2 inches and never had a problem. Great sound suppression so you wont get annoyed of the thing and sell it. Great product.
