overall i'm very happy with the greddy evo exhaust...you can feel the gain in HP...the off-set tip is nice for lowered cars...gives you a deep tone...it's not too loud... i paid $525 for it...it's worth it including the installation...i would recommend this exhaust for anyone looking for a cat-back system...

Strength:

I am very satisfied with my choice. The exhaust itself fits perfect. Great
power throughout the powerband. Especially when the vtec kicks in at 5500. The tone 2000 rpm is nice and deep. At w.o.t it rips. Sounds very racelike

Weakness:

Loss of low end a bit. I am also have a injen intake with it as well so that contributes to the loss a bit. Other than that nothing else.

I am going to correct myself no other exhaust system compares to this one I think. It fits snug right under the rear bumper and that is perfect for lowered whips. Especially for the rest of my import brothas that like to slam their cars. Phenomenal sound and performance...My man has the Greddy sp and when I got my exhaust he wanted to upgrade after he heard and seen mine.I recommend this system to anyone who wants to be able not worry about their stainless steel exhaust being dragged across the pavement getting scratched. That would probably be 90% of the people. The system is bangin!

I don't really think it compares to any other system. I think its a softer version of the power extreme.

Strength:

i noticed alot more high end power and i have never heard a better sounding exhaust and all my friends can back me on that, even my parents like it and that is icreadible because before i had my car they hated my friends cars because of the exhaust. i also have never scrached it and don't think i ever will because of its super high clearance, and my car is slamed! it looks really good, you can't see a huge stainless-steal can under the car, like on all the other rice-rockets and the piping seems custom because it follows like the stock exhaust did.

Weakness:

i have noticed any weaknesses

if you just got in to the import seen your lucky because of this product don't waist your money on anyother exhaust you must buy this one. nothing else compares to the sound if not anything else. the evolution alone adds hp and you can feel it also after the exhaust just get headers and intake and your ride will dip!

Strength:

Easy to install, no mods necessary. Great sound!!! Adds a very nice look to the car.

Weakness:

A little pricey but it's worth it!

Heard a lot of good things about Greddy. I was originally going to go for the Power Extreme, but most of the reviews said that there was a clearance problem. Fortunately, the EVO bacame available.
It is very nice and well constructed. Haven't really had a chance to dyno test it, but by replacing the stock muffler and piping, there is already some horsepower gained.

Similar Products Used:

Compared to the Power Extreme (from what I've read), the EVO does not have the clearance problem.

Strength:

Good performance exhaust

Weakness:

Too loud. A little low to the ground. The muffler tip is about 2mm away from touching my bumper

This thing is loud! Too loud for me. I was going to purchase the Apexi N1 but heard it was louder than the Evolution! Nice exhaust though. Before the exhaust I was running 15psi. With the exhaust(and a 3" downpipe), I was pushing 18-19psi.

Looks great, its got like a 4.5 inch tip, but dont be frayed, its not that big, it fits perfect for a gsr, ive gotten many compliments, it doesnt have an annoying sound, oh and my et went from a 15.8 to a 15.3 (seriously too) i can beat my friends celica gts now

Weakness:

its not very loud when you want to get someones attention, but thats good too i guess

its great, i cant wait to get the dc sports 4-1 header, it should help alot, along with a high flow cat, its the best buy for an exhuast you can get personally

well my stock exhuast sucked since it shattered the first time i went to the drag strip, ( had to get used to the track) (wheelhop)

Strength:

- The tone, Doesn't sound like the exhaust on most imports, that annoying street bike sound.
- Power and gas mileage. I notice an improvment in both.
- Cost, it was an affordable add on for a cat-back system.

Weakness:

- Hard to keep clean and polished
- Wished it had stainless steel piping throught the system

WoW!!! I had a stock exhaust system and wanted something better. Couldn't even hear the car running at idle.

When I was at the Carlisle's Custom Compact Power Jam I got the Greddy Evo installed. Notcied the sound differance right off. I took the car right out onto the interstate and the sound was great until VTEC engaged and my AEM Short RAM air intake overpowered the sound of the exhaust.

People tell me that the car can be heard from a distance and has good tone. I still haven't heard what it really sounds like outside the car yet.

I am now considering other Greddy product due to the quality of the EVO cat-back system.
