Strength:
Very affordable. I think best woofer for the money!! I have 2 powered by a 360A2 rockford. They hit HHHAAAARRRDDD!! Turn plenty of heads.
Weakness:
NONE I purchased about 8 months ago. I was originally powering them with a chump amp. I contacted Rockford and asked them for a amp for my woofers and they recommended a 360A2. I purchased one for $230.00(CHEAP) and WOW. I have just added a Lightning Audio 1 Farad Capacitor and it knocks the windows out!!!!The FArad made a world of difference!! If you have these power them with at least 360 RMS. I garantee you will be pleased!!! If they are under powered they do not perform. They handle much more power than they are rated at. Sealed box a must. Ported rattles everything. Similar Products Used: JL, Infinity perfect |

Strength:
Great price for the amount of bass you get, they hit pretty hard with out alot of power. I can also turn some heads with 2 of them
Weakness:
I cant find any weaknesses I highly recomend them, especially if you arent made of money. I have 2 fo them pushed by a jensen 300w amp and they turn some heads at stoplights. Similar Products Used: MTX-about the same, Pioneer-RF is tons better |

Strength:
Great Value, good quality of craftsmanship, handle more power than specified
Weakness:
The only thing i dont like much is the power handling a little too weak, but because i have two, not as noticable These are great, they have changed betweent 2 different vehicles, 1st one 86 escort, took up the whole trunk space, but the people in the back seat never complained of back pain again!!!! Strength:
affordable, smooth sounding, clear
Weakness:
The punch line of subs cant handle much power (but they dont need it). I used to work in a car stereo shop and listened to these subs all the time. For the money (ive seen them for as low as $115 per pair of 12") there is no better value. They sound exceptional and have a very smooth sound when put in a sealed box, but sound ok in a ported and terrible in a bandpass box. In the sealed system, however, they do not require much power to get fairly loud, and have increadably clarity and transient response (for the price). Compared to other speakers in their price range, there is no comparison. Pioneers (tsw31)are just plain crap (not accurate at all). MTX (road thunder)does not sound as smooth or get as loud. Rockford Fosgate Punch RFZ1412
Strength:
Affordable, crisp bass. Im running 2 of them off a pionner amp, and they sound great. My car shakes, when I pass down the street people turn their heads and look(thats how loud they are)
Weakness:
I think its loud enough, but there are sub-woofers out there 10 times louder. If you want affordable good sounding bass, these are for you. If you want something for sound competitions, go for the subwoofers that can handle more power. Similar Products Used: Pioneer subwoofers. The pioneers were good, but not as good as the RF Punch. |

This is A great speaker for the money. They hit harder then the two JL 12's I have.
Weakness:
They dont really handle alot of power. And sometimes have truble dropping to the lower bass. I paid 50 a pice for my punches, and would recomand anybody with a tight budget and a thrill for bass to look into these speakers. Similar Products Used: None |

Fosgate 12" Punch
Strength:
the sound quality
Weakness:
the lack of hard hitting and low bass Ok, I have a cdq-800 panasonic head unit with a fosgate 225.2 amp running 2 Fosgate punches in a .85 sealed enclosure. It was the only thing I could gfit in a jeep Wrangler. It hits OK. I had a pair of jensen KS212 12's that hit hareder and louder to be honest with you. The new Jensens aren't THAT BAD but they still suck. My fosgates turn heads but not how I like it. I now have two AW1200x 12's Audiobahns rtunning from my fosgate amp and ohhhhhhhhh boy. It hits HARD and DEEP in a .85 enclosure. I am hittng around 140 with two 12's and it rattles the hell out of my little Jeep. I got them off ebay for 80 bucks a pop and it was WELL worth the money Similar Products Used: Jensen', actually hit harder with a JBL 150 watt amp. Aw1200's blow these out of the water |
