2 punch 12" in a 96 ford escort
Strength:
cheap, excellent learners project, doesnt take a powerful amp to make them hit cool, cheap
Weakness:
doesnt hit low AT ALL, sounds bad if you turn them up loud Ok, Im running a 600 watt pioneer amp and two 12" punch subs in a sealed box. my system sucks but it turns heads, sets off car alarms, and got me pulled over by the cops, believe it or not. The reason i bought this system was because it was cheap and i needed something to learn on, i installed everything myself and have made many adjustments. if you are looking at buying these speakers consider them something to learn on, they dont hit low at all but are clean sounding unless you turn the volume up too high. i payed $99 for 2 at best buy so if i blow them out i could really give a damn. im selling my whole system and buying an 18" cerwin vega stroker and a 1000 watt RF amp. if youre looking for low low low bass, like i am, look elsewhere. if you want something cheap to learn on, these are for you. i know people that started on 2 15" He2 and 800 watt amps that didnt know anything about bass, they blew their speakers and fuses and fried their amps in a matter of days, so trust me when i say learn on these.
