Strength:
Sickess Bass I ever heard. I have one 12 in my maxima and it is sick. I cant pull down my seat like other cars and I still hit soo loud. I competed and beat people that had 3 12's/ 2 15's people were just like damn. I hit 138db, going threw a trunk and a back seat!! 1200watts is crazy! I use an XTR800 to put 1100watts@2ohm into this sub
Weakness:
money. better have mad money cause the sub is alot and the amp that works with a sub thats 1200watts cost money too. bought the sub for 425, that is cheap. and bought an XTR800 for it for $700. Sub is awesome. Company kicks butt, but you will be paying an arm and a leg for it. I guess you get what you pay for. I have been bumpin my 12" HCCA sub for almost 2 years. still runs awesome. I also had to add an optima battery to keep things flowin. 1HCCA=2batteries. Definitely worth it if you have the money, but I heard the new Eclipse subs beat even the all powerful HCCA. Strength:
This Sub kicks ass!!! Even when you push it to the limits it doesn't bottom out.
Weakness:
So far I haven't found any except if you pay full price I would recomend this sub to anyone who wants to have spl in the 140's and up. I also would recomend running these with a Orion HCCA or Xtreme amp because of the Intelli Q bass optimizer. Similar Products Used: 2 15" MTX 7000's, this one 12 hits as hard if not harder than both of those. It also sounds alot cleaner. |

These Sub's definetly make everyone turn to look at your car when it drives by. I have only one but I know a guy with 2 and you can hear him about 2 miles away!
Weakness:
I haven't found a weakness yet These subs are phenominal if you want head rattling bass these are for you. Each voice coil can handle a 1000 watts as I have seen very easily! And if you catch a right sale you can get them for what I got mine for which was 125$!!!!!!!!! If you dont like loud bass please dont even look at buying these but if you want everyone around the city to stop and look by all means get these bad boys! BOOOOOOOM!!!! Absolutely the loudest bass I've ever heard, with nice quality...
Weakness:
Not noticed Don't need a hell of a amp, if you're not competing, you can run this with a smaller one, too. But I've runned them with my two Orion XTRpro 2400, and the 2x12" HCCA's got REAL LOUD, HEAD EXPLODING BASS!!! Never heard, Never ever ever heard this loud 12" subs... Looks great,put together well. Really LOUD.ONE OF THE LOUDEST SUBS ON THE MARKET! Great for all you Bass freaks!!!
Weakness:
too heavy, needs big a$$ box,sound quality. MSRP TOOOOOOOOOO high. hCCA'S ARE NICE BUT COST WAY TOO MUCH. YOU NEED A SUBURBAN OR SOMETHING TO GET THE FULL EFFECT OF THESE SUBS.GREAT FOR BIG CARS AND WEAK IN SMALL CARS. Similar Products Used: Audiomobile 2012 MASS(better SQ BY FAR, HIGH AND LOW LOW LOW BASS,),XTR PRO 12(better SQ but not ass good as Audiomobile), MMATS Juggs(LOUDER), & Audiobahn 1205(Like a tweeter compared to HCCA). |

The subs KICK BUT. I live in a town with a lot of sterios and my Orions are the loudest bye fare.
Weakness:
you shuld have a big amp for these subs to sound there best. If you want kick butt loud bass and can spend a little money Orions are in my openion the best on the market!! Similar Products Used: I have a budy that has 2 kicker 10" and there is no comparion that the Orions are louder. |

LOUD LOUD LOUD!!!! I personally don't own them, but my friend got two for a christmas present from his brother who has some dinero obviously. I installed them and they are the loudest thing I have ever heard. You can really feel the inside of your ears moving. The rubber that surrounds the cone is super thick. The manual said that is has a 2 inch excursion. In a ported box, these make me want to say turn it down, but you can't hear yourself.
Weakness:
Price. They do handle over 1000 watts a piece, so you will need a good amp and we had to install a capacitor to keep his car lights from dying. They are expensive, but they pack a punch. I think each speaker weighs 50 lbs. I personally think that it is too much for everyday driving, but if you're looking to break records, I'd look into Orion HCCA's. Similar Products Used: I own 3 JL Audio 12W3's. They hit hard, but I have to admit, not as hard as these 2 12 inch HCCA's |

I dont actually own them but i have witnessed them in action. Theyre hella loud for one thing and can definitely compete with cv strokers in my opinion

i dunno, i guess 650 bucks for one? i guess theyre cool if you can afford them Similar Products Used: none of my personal stuff could compare but a friend has cv strokers and those are damn loud too but the hccas are at least as loud for a similar price |

This sub is very loud, and hits so hard its unbelievable, handles up to 1200watts! This sub is a beast when it comes to SPL, the best SPL sub i've listened to IMO
Weakness:
the price is kinda too high, but i think it's worth it, this sub is very well built, sturdy and of really good quality! I just bought the sub not to long ago, i only have 1 and damn 1 is sure enough for me, for 1 sub it hits so hard it sounds like i have a multiple sub setup in my car, a lot of ppl are impressed with my system, they are even in more shock when they see that i only have 1 sub... this sub hits really hard and gets loud, the bass is really good if you're a bassfreak, this is one of the best SPL sub i've heard, the sub is pretty heavy, and it needs a pretty big enclosure to sound good, but if you have the right enclosure, this sub will sound very good... when i park in my driveway i can feels my wall inside my house vibrating, and you cant even drive sometimes cause it gets blurry, cuz it shakes just about everything in your car! your ears will hurt with these subs, definetly a good choice for you serious competition ppl... you can easily get into the 150's with just only 1 of these orion hcca subs... major spl here...
