I got two 12W3 in a sealed box with grills for $440. Thats a very good price. The W3's Can handle a lot of power. I have a Alpine1505 900x1 watt amp going to two 12W3 and they love it. These are the best subs you can get for the money JL RULES!!!!!

I have had all these in my car before they were all 12's and in sealed boxes. The W3's are louder than all of them and are cleaner than all except the W6's. The W3 do not need as much power as the W6

These subs need serious power. Cost is a little high.

I am currently running a single 12W3-D4 in a 94 GrandPrix with an XS-2500 (500 Watts RMS) pheonix gold amp pushing it. The sub is in a 2.0 ft ported box which sounds awesome. I had two 12W3-D4's running off of the XS-2500 in parallel but found that there wasn't enough power going to the subs to get the performance I wanted. So by taking one of the subs out I have actually gained in sound quality and quantity. If you have the power then I suggest picking up a few of these subs, they will shake yours eyes out of your sockets, I promise.

I love this sub even though it is a big woffer it can fit into 1.75 cubic foot box. I am pushing it with a Lanzar 2500 high performance amp. The speaker can handle 700w rms but I have been giving it about 800 to 850 it handles well. The price is a little overwhelming but well worth it. I paid $500 for this sub and would like to purches another one. I highly recomend this sub for someone that is serous about sound.

Need to handle more power

I paid $400 for my 2 12w3s from a local stereo shop. I love them, they sound great. I have a mmats D100 on them supplying about 600 watts to them and they pound. They can take more power I think, but 600w should fit them perfectly.
I would like to add one more w3 to get more spl and hopefully enter a comp. These subs are definetly worth a look, and if you get them feed them alot of power.

I DRIVE A 89 RANGER XLT EXTENDED CAB.AND I HAVE FINNLY REACHED MY GOLE OF 9 12"W3 ON 3 PPI pc1400. I HAVE REASNTLY AVREGED 162.3db .i have to say that of all the speakers i have ever had the w3 are the best i would go to bat for these subs eny day.but i cant weight until the 15" w3.

I have two JL Audio 12-w3-d4's in a 4 cubic f.t.ported box running off a Orion XTR 400. I ran 141.9 db's. These subs pound so hard and the low bass is great to.If you want a loud pair of 12's I would higly suggest these subs.

the crisp clear may I also add low bass that comes out of the 12' cant wait to hear the 15' !!!

none other than the fact that I cant buy the 15's yet because no local dealers have them in stock yet!

Only problem is I dont own one or any because I'm waiting for the 15's because I'm in ti SPL and it will be louder thn the 10's and 12's. I plan to buy 8 15' W3 for my 1985 bronco2 and I plan to run 2 MMATS D100HC 4 drivers per amp and I think I'll go prety far SPL wies because a guy I know had 6 15' W0 and hit 150.1 and I will have more power more subs and better subs so I think I'll hit aprox 155.4 db on dash and aprox 171.2 in outlaw!!!!! wow!!!!!!!1 ( in 4 seperated ported boxes with 4 ports running to one big one and the other 4 doing the same in a nother bug mother of a port! )

I have 3 12" W3 and let me tell you one thing that I have gotten use to is people fliping me off. I have a 10001dx xtant amp pushing them and it sounds unbeliveable. I have only had the speakers for about 3 months and I havent found or heard any thing wrong with them. the price is great and I would strongly recamend them.

I am running one 10W3 D2 with the bridged rear channels of a RF 600a4. I am not into SPL, so this is perfect for me. It's getting about 300 watts. It sounds very smooth and extremely musical. This is simply the best sounding subwoofer I've ever heard (inluding other JL products). In fact, the guy who sold it to me said he liked it better than the W6. I take that recommendation seriously because he could have just tried to get me to buy the more expensive product.
