hard clean bass

Last weakend i got pulled over and i got a ticket for $405.95, the police officer said that i had 19 callins about my stereo. I had it metered at 156.7db. the three 15s firing forward into the car the truck is sealed off. the three sub are power by one kicker zr1000, but in the future i plan on changing to two or three kicker dx1400. I would like to thank Ben & chad at the sound connections for all the work they did on my install

-a little sloppy in the sound quality side of things( it's not my amp either )

I bought these subs 3 months before rockfrod came out with it's he2 and hx2 line up now I'm kicking myself for not waiting. I have 4 10" JL W3's with the 4 ohm voice coils. They are mounted in the trunk of a 1987 monte carlo ss, and they pound stupid hard. I've turned them up to the point where my ears couldn't take anymore and they were only about 2/3's working, when I turn them up all the way they are too loud for me. I got a warning from a cop when I was driving around and had them pinned because they were too loud.
I have a rockford fosgate punch 1100a2 amplifier bridged to run my 4 10" w3's and they f'n pound. They are a little expensive but if I had to compare them to a rockford hx2 I'd take the RF anyday. But for what I paid theses things are a good efficient small enclosure sub.

my only weakness is that my trunk rattles so loud and if you sit in my ride for one whole song you would know what bass is!!!!

I have two 10w3 in a small sealed box. These things kill. One of the best subs ever made. If you dont got a JL then you aint got shizz.

Cheap Design Only good for SPL sound qualitie sucks my left nut

If your looking for good affordable subs go with Xtants . Overall they are a decent sub just i am not a big fan of the foam and other features it has could use upgrading .

I had 4 of these in a sealed box with 2 crossfire 1000d's pushing them. I was hitting around 156db with out any extra batteries or mods. That got stolen and now have 2 of them in a ported box pushing them with a jl 500/1 its almost as loud as my old stuff. planning on compeating in SQ and SPL this summer. You gotta love these subs!!!!!!!!

Slams hard, hits clean, handles a lot of watts, looks nice, requires only a .75 cubic ft. enclosure per sub(small box).

I bought these subs for $130 a piece. This was a great deal. To power them I also purchased a Crossfire TEK150.2 which pumps out about 600x1 into 4 ohms. Both subs are in a JBC competition box(.7 cubic ft/sub). They sound great in my 1989 Civic Hatchback. When I put on some rap they really shake the crap out of my car. The output from these subs would blow your mind. My car sounds like it has 2 twelves instead of 2 tens Compared to the other subs that I have tried they are the best. However, there is no way that 10w0 or 10w1 could compare to this sub. I give these an A+.

Fullness of the speakers are great. Good over all sub

Speaker terminal, you pay alittle more for them, why not include better hookups?

The only thing i dont like about these sub is that i now need to invest for some dynomat.

Clarion Proaudio 12 did not hit as low as the JL's. Oh yeah, 2 10 inch punch's..... try again Rockford!!!!

Hard hitting, good on the lows, car shaking, lets just say they are great.

No weaknesses that I have yet found.

I recomend them if you want a serious sound system. I have a 600 watt Coustic amp pushing these 2 10 W3's and it's awesome. My neighbor complains about his shower doors shaking. Get them.

I can't find any subs that compare. I use to have 2 12' Punch's and my JL's blow them away.

For anyone who does'nt think these hit hard get your hearing checked !!
I'm running 4 subs in a sleeper cab and it cracked my windshield. I'm currently hitting 161.4db in a sealed inclosure and for 4 10's it's pretty damn sweeeet. So lick it ok......
