Great hard hitting bass with only 115 watts out of the v12
Weakness:
none this sub rocks the whole back of my truck and i'm looking at getting another Alpine V12 757 so I can bridge the two V12s show a can rock the var next to me as well. insane bass and clear and powerfull at lower levels. they just hit extremly hard.
Weakness:
NONE AT ALL These subs are the best.I have 3 12w3 dual 6 and a MMATTS 100hc running to them and it's insane.I have 400 watts running to each sub and they handle it no problem. I've seen 900 watts running to a single 12 w3.Iv'e been to 5 competitions and my best SPL so far is 151.5.Thats pretty good for subs that only rate at 250 watts rms.I hope to get 2 15w3 and put them in my trunk as well but untill then I will be happy with my @$$ kicken 12 w3. The thing goes low low low and does it effortlessly. Very smooth. Not Expensive.
Weakness:

These subs are so freak'in efficient!! Can't believe it. After blowing my sony es subs 2 times, stepped with the JL, never even close to blowing those suckers! Get the right cd, ur car be rattling like crazy, especially your rearview mirrow. Love them, sounds good, open the trunk people drop 'cause it's just one sub all byitself with my sony es amp booming. People think it's two.. but it's all just one sub in a q-logic box. Best investment ever.
Weakness:
What's a weakness.. especially when u're talking about these subs. Well, i wish they look a bit cooler like those polk momo's but the heck, they sound awesome! Awesome sub. Even for $200 bucks, great product. JL is the best in the business when it comes to speakers! Just read the strengths cause i don't feel like typing it all over again. But the best bang for the buck! Similar Products Used: Used 12" sony mobile es xplod 1250. Did i say i blew them twice.. using an xplod mobile es amp?! Not as efficient as the JL. U will hear the differnce no doubt! |

Decent sounding and efficient with Sub Channel of PPI5440 (240Watts).
Weakness:
Upgraded to PPI PC 21400.2 and driving one channel (700 Watts) to the JL 10W3 D4. Cannot handle the power - bottoms out all the time (sealed enclosure). Looking for a pair of subs that can handle the power and sound just as good or better. Recommend only if your amp is less than 300 RMS Watts. Similar Products Used: None |

very good sound quality and can also take a lot of amps.
Weakness:
10" more sound quality than loudness but not many bad things can be said about them I have 4 10" W3 D2 in a ported box. I have a 1989 Honda Accord and the port runs through the rear deck. I hit a 144.8 at the Buger Bash. Not to bad for a 16 year old. But I would reccomend them to anyone looking for good sound and quality. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate-Yeah Right! |

These subs POUND. I have never heard anything that POUNDS like these subs.
Weakness:
there is absolutely no weaknesses in these subs These subs are great. i have gotten alot of girls with this system. my friend has 2 "10 rockford fosgate xlc and they aren't close to comparing. i recommend jl to anyone looking for absolute bass. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate and Kicker, i have tried them both and they don't come close to comparing to jl audio. |
