Strength:
Decent spl with decent sq
Weakness:
Loss of sound quality at high volume This woofer is a good all around speaker. However the power handling is limited. I did feed this woofer about 250-300 watts 8OHM. I liked it for a all around sub but can never win sq or spl comps imo Similar Products Used: w6, 7000, Eminence, Magma |

I recently bought tripple 12" bow with trhee JL Audio 12W0's. I'm not running them off of a very powerful amp. I'm running them off of an Alpine V12 T501. It's @ 250 watts and the subs still hit incredibly hard for the amp size. They are the best bang for your buck. If you want hard hitting bass for less coin, you can't go wrong with 12W0's. I recomend them highly. |

I had two 12" W0 powered by a 600w Alpine 1002, and it sounded good. Then I got a 900w V-12 1505 and I had to turn the amp down because they couldn't handle them. Then finally I upgraded to W3's and I could turn the amp up. W0's are alright if you aren't looking for a lot of bass and want to save money. |

Just got two 12WO's in my Maxima. Theyre powered by a Phoenix Gold XS2500(500W) and they hit hard. Not as hard as W3's, but for the money you cant beat them. |

jl 12wo
Strength:
Incredible sound, loud as $hit!
Weakness:
None yet. Ever heard of soundstreams angina smallest damn out there if your looking for a good deal buy an angina a box and two W Os. A buddy of mine was actually impressed with this system and he is running about 10,000 dollars worth of Sq equipment in his car and he was just full of praise on how good and loud the jl are with that 180 dollar amp. Definitely worth looking at but not for a major competition system. Similar Products Used: Kicker, IdQ, Eclipse. |

Strength:
Hit hard, great for pumping pure bass. Have 2 of them powered bye a 400watt Interfire Amp. They sound great.
Weakness:
There not the 12w6's... I Have 2 of them powered by a 400watt Interfire Amp. They sound great. If u got some extra cash id say go with a newer model(w7, when there out) but for anyone that wants solid bass, for a good price... Similar Products Used: Fosgate, pioneer, cerwin vega, these all were off a friends cars, but id put my jls against em anytime. |

Price. $130 canadian for a refirbished one. who cares if its not new. thats cheap cheap. LOUD and clear. Very good power handling. Im puttin 120W rms into one now and its great.
Weakness:
none Oh man this subs pounds. I have the one 12" JL 12W0 and i love it. i plan on gettin another. i cant wait. just one is great. two is even better. I paid $130 canadian for it. It wasnt new, it was refirbished. but close enough for me and i didnt really mind. In that price range its the best. Even some subs a little beyond that price range might not beat it. Similar Products Used: 1 10" rockford series 1 8 ohm sub. cant even compare it because my amp wasnt 8ohm stable |

12 W0
Strength:
1. They take such little power to hit so hard.
Weakness:
The people that hate on JL Audio. The JL Audio 12 inch W0 are the best speakers for the price. The will give you the best sound and bass for the price. They hit so hard to only take such a little amount of power. I have a Rockford Fosgate 160a2 amp on 2 12 inch W0's and they hit like he**. If I didn't know anything about these subs and heard them, I would think that they were about $200 a sub. If your pockets are short but you want some very good subwoofers then you should go with JL Audio 12 inch W0's, I'm telling you they are the best. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate 12 inch XLC's or higher |

N/A Not too sure...
Strength:
-They pound pretty hard even when you don't feed them 125 watts. (125 watts is the JL AUDIO rating)
Weakness:
-They “MAY” bottom out on certain audio frequencies. (Distortion is rare with JL AUDIO) I have my 12WØ's in a sealed box in my hatchback. I am using an Alpine V12 (MRV-1503) amplifier. I have it split into 2 channels. So that means, I am feeding my 12WØ's 250 watts a piece. They sound pretty good. That is all the higher I am going to go, wattage wise. Now to the SPL (Bass) department. SPL wise, the WØ's in a Geo Metro hatchback do pretty well. I haven't actually been measured, but people say they can hear me about 3 and a half blocks away. But hearing it in the distance isn't important, it's the sound quality that counts. Like I already mentioned, the 12WØ has exceptionally great sound quality. I used to have a pair of Pioneer TS-W120C's. They were great. The WØ's are better than the Pioneer TS-W120C's in both departments. (Sound quality & SPL) The SPL level will cause neighbors to complain. It will cause law enforcement officers to get aggravated. I plan on upgrading to W3's in the far future.
