This sub is super cool for the money.
I've got it running on a phoenix gold 4150 amp and I couldn't believe the bass when i went to pick the car up after the install.

They get loud without alot of power, they sound very clean and accurate even at high volume. They don't take a huge enclosure to pound out the low bass.

I got a pair of 12"WO-8ohms wired parallel geting about 200watts a piece. I got them for 200 bucks so i wasnt expecting alot, but I was suprised when I put them in. They sound very clean, even at high volumes, and do not miss a beat. They do not sound sloppy and boomy like some other subs i have had, they are very accurate. This was my first jl system and i am impressed, I would highly recommed these subs to anybody who wants subs that sound incredible for your hard earned dollars.

I paid 110 bucks for one 12W0 and running about 150W rms. This thing kicks me so hard. This is not the best sub of all but for 110 bucks this is the best sub ever.

Must have the right sized box or they are just loud, not much quality

These are great subs for the money if you're not looking for Massive SPL or Amazing SQ. Good SQ and SPL for money, but make sure your box is the right size...A LITTLE too big or small, and they sound bad

I won 1st Place at the dB drag race today. 146.3dB Killing the competition in the Novice Class. It was my first competition and now I'm hooked, cause i had know idea that those (2) 12's on only a 400 watt Crossfire 402 Amp would hit that loud. Well made a believer out of me. Only JL...

Paied 120 for the sub. I'm giving it 130 watts and I've been told it will take alot more. I'd deffinately recommend it to anyone who's interested in a cheap yet very impressive sub.

Personally I think it's (my single 12)alot better than my friends 2 kicker impulse 12's. But that could be due to his install.

115 bucks installed in my custom made box. I have an eclipse amp going to it (bridged) it sounds great!!! I dont have a lot of power going to it but I really dont want to much bass. For the $ it is awesome ! great product!!!!!

Can't satisfy their power Craving

Dont let the Price and the Power Handling Fool U. If you havent heard JL Audio before then your depriving yourself of some Hard Hittin' Bass!! For 99.00 a piece can't get any better of a deal on such bass. I have 2 in a sealed box. First day I had them I turned them up too loud and messed up my ears for 3 days. I have them only in a Crossfire 200 watt amp bridged and monkey tied. At the audio store I bought them from they put 1000 watts into each and they were still hungry for more. These subs are Hell to another motorists ears. These 2 sound badass but I'm gonna go buy one more for now. I have to rescrew the screws all over the car cause they get sucked toward the back. I was heard slightly before but know people are turning heads from blocks away. I got to turn them down 2 and a half blocks from my house cause my parents can hear me loud and clear. I was at the grocery store and pulled in front and got out. the bass was so powerful it was shaking the big glass windows of the store. JL AUDIO is the only way to go and if you blow on you obviously didn't know what the hell you are doing.

I got 2 12w0's in a sealed box, one day F#cking around i fed them 800 watts... THEY HIT SO HARD I LOST MY HEARING FOR A DAY. I encourage you guys to feed them mass quantities of watts.. jl's love watts.

Somewhat boomy, foam surround is bad for moist climates

I paid $50 each for two of them, and have them in a dual-chambered 3.0 cubic foot ported box (6 cubic feet total). It is loud as heck, and very sensitive (does not take vast amounts of power to run them loudly). I recommend these subs highly- you can get them used easily off ebay for very low prices, and subs don't tend to go bad like amps or other things with way too many parts, so used is good. If you are looking for sound quality, look elsewhere. These are not competition level woofers, but they will annoy people at intersections.
