I have a pair of 12w0-4. At first I was skeptical about them. I have a 400 watt Orion amp, and running it to 2 "125 watt" subwoofer, didn't sound right. Boy, I love them.....they hit hard. You won't get a better deal for the price. Everyone is right. They are great subs. I sold them, and now I got 15w6's. Can't go wrong, especially great for starters.

if you are looking for a good sounding sub for around $100 nothing comes close to the W0
but it definitely loses sq at more then 150 watts
if you are looking for massive spl this sub is not for you

This sub plays loud and clear. It handles power well also. I have 200 watts going into each of my 12wo's and they can still take more. They also play low and hit all notes. If you want a musical sub this is the way to go.

Sometimes I have have playing so loud that it sounds bad in the back seat because all you hear it bass and no highs from my other speakers. Also it is not a very good sub for real punchy bass. But for hip-hop and r&b it is a great sub.

For the price it can not get any better than this. I paid $314 for two 12wo's in a sealed box. These subs make peoples heads turn on the road. People always sit in my car and comment on how good they sound. It was a damn good investment.

I am running 600 rms in to 2 of the 8 ohm 12w0's the bass is is very smouth

being a good fan of JL nothing i can complane about for the price!!

for the price of the subs two of them with 500 rms in to each u will have fun yes I would recommend it.....

I have a pair of these JLs and they are just AMAZING! And at only $100 a piece, these subs are perfect for those who want loud, tight sounding bass. JL totally underated the power handling of these subs! They are rated at 125W RMS but I'm giving mine 400W RMS each and they pound HARD! At this level, I have hit up to 143dB in my Chevy Lumina. I highly recommend these subs for people who listen to hard rock or rap. In my opinion, they sound better in a bandpass box. Remember, these things are HUNGRY for power!!

cheap, dont require as much wattage as most

havent noticed any, heard it not do so well on a note or two, but they have great quality

i have had these for about half a year, bought them off my friend cause he kept getting his car taken away and never really used them but for about a month or two. i am using the same amp i had on an 8" bass tube, only getting 35w per sub, and they stil pound. JL's dont cost much at all, good for the money. i am gonna get about a 350-500watt amp for them soon, i'm broke. i suggest them to anyone if you arent a rich kid who can go buy infinity perfects with a rockford fosgate punch amp ;)

I am running 2 of the 8 ohm 12w0's wired down to 4ohms off of a MTX 150.2 about 425watts bridged. These things slam i have hit as high as 141DB in a 89 beretta GT.

There is nothing i dont like about these subs. This is quite possibly the best udio component i have purchesed

I paid $400 for 2 12w0's in a box brand new...I woudl highlky recommend these subs to any amature or Pro audio fanatic there is not a thing i can fidn wrong with them they dont take a lot of power and still can keep up with the other subs
