This amp is great. I am using it to power 2 12" JL audio W3's and it pounds. I have it running at 2 Ohms, so around 1100 watts. The place i first went to have my system installed had my woofers running at 1 Ohm, then once i got this amp hooked up, i was able to run it for about a week, with the loudest bass i have ever heard, but then it started shuting off because it isnt 1 ohm stable. at 2 0hms though i have yet to have a single problem, the outside of the amp gets very hot, but never shuts off, or performs week. I would suggest thing amp to anyone looking to have a killer system

There are no bad qualities. This amp is amazing!!! i just cant wait to get a 2nd

This is a great amp, i would suggest trying to find the older model though, because i heard the newer ones arent as good because they are too mass produved. But that is just what i heard!

This is amp is incredibly loud, an amazing deal for the price I paid on ebay. Very low distortion also and the remote controlled bass boost comes in handy too.

This amp is amazing. I have it powering two of the audiobahn awp212x's and it is loud as hell with low distortion. They are in a qlogic bandpass box and the sound is amazing, I think I am going to start competing with them soon. If you find a good deal on this amp buy it right away! If you cant find a deal but you have the cash pick one up anyway, you wont be disappointed!

I am powering two 15" rockford fosgate hx2's in a ported box and it pounds hard. the last box i had broke in half because of the power the 800.2 was puting out. try one for your self if you have the money and are looking for a great amp.

is not to big...it's simple to use...kool look...and a lot of power to tear up four subs ... no kidding!!!

i don't like the amp doesn't have fuse...so it have to be connected trough out a fuse holder... the first time it turn on in my car blew up 3 fuses until the installer found the correct fuse for this amp

i bougth this amp to power up four 10 classic punch subwooferws in a isobaric box... but after a week of use the four subs blew up... so now i have four 10 xlc subs i hope it will sound perfect... why? because i guess i have matched the perfect ecuation... a amp with 400 x 2 at 2 ohms and 4 subs with 200 watts rms... that's 800 watts from the amp to 800 watts of sub... the only problem is that i don't want more exotic boxes some i thinking about sealed enlosures but i don't know it my calculation of the internal volume of the box is right.... the optimal volume for each one of these subs is .750 cubic ft. but i only have space in my truck for .630 cubic ft. for each one... so if somebody read this feel free to do recomendations... i will appreciate that...

This amp has some real power, if you bridge it at 2ohms, (1040watts) and very clean

I would recomend this amp if you are looking to push two 15s, i am about to hook this amp up to two juggernauts, people are tellin me that it should be very very loud, and i am sure it will be, rockford amps dont play around.

This amp is buy far the best iv'e ever had. I have it hooked up to 4 12" HE Rockford subs and it pounds. The amp never over heats and plus it looks sweet. This was definitly worth the money. I'm thinking of getting another one to power two more 12". My boomin' is a boomin' and my stuff sounds loud! Thanks Rockford.

Cost of lot. Gets very hot sometimes. Oh, whoever said it drains the battery, most amps do, batterys aren't made for the large stereo equiptment. Getting the lightning cap was a good choice. Two would do even better. It doesn't just keep the battery from dying, it allows the amp to work at its max.

Works well. Hasn't gone up in flames yet, which is very good. Powers my two 12" Kicker Solo-baric (not the gay square ones) bumps at about 140dB. Which is good for the kind of car its in. I'm sure if it was in the cab of a pick-up it would be around 149.
