Strength:

My truck took a beating and handled it well. The 4.0 V6 is very strong and the truck handled very well in deep snow and offroad conditions. Very visually appealing. A stoplight break stand now and then really got peoples attention!!!

Weakness:

Gas mileage is only fair at 16 to 17mpg. But hey, its a truck and I beat on it. I wanted to have a V8 under the hood, but the 4.0 V6 was more than adequate.

I picked up my XLT SC 4x4 OFFROAD with 4.0 V6 on a 2 year lease. This was quite the upgrade from the 4cyl. 5 speed I had leased previously, although that was a great one too. With all the options on the new truck, It was like heaven. I had no problems with it the entire lease. I loved it so much, I decided to lease another new one for 2003!! Thumbs up for the FORD RED CARPET LEASE PROGRAM!!!

Strength:

For a "Low Emissions Vehicle" this truck sure has a PEPPY engine. Holds well on two tracks too.

Weakness:

Anything that burns gas right now is a weakness because it is too expensive. There is a nasty scratchy noise in the rear cab window.

Absolutely a winner when it comes to affordibility, style, Function, and Looks.Built Ford Tough.

Strength:

Great ride, even loaded, quiet, easy to service.

Weakness:

Poor gas mileage, not much power(3.0 V6), brakes needed maching at 17,500 kms, power steering failed at same mileage; poor explanation for failures by Ford service center mechanics. had expensive fog lamps installed by Ford - real mess.

Good looking vehicle, lots of room, good load capacity.

Strength:

Durable! I put about 1200 miles a month on it, and have only had to have the transmission worked on. Virtually no upkeep, which is good, because I drive it hard.

Weakness:

Top speed isn't too hot, but it's a truck.

I love my truck. Its not the peppiest thing on the road, but it will take anything you can dish out. I use it for off-roading, racing, moving, and everything else. I've had it for over a year now, and other than getting the transmission worked on a bit, I've had no problems at all. All in all, one tough lil truck.

Strength:

Cute, just the right size, comfortable ride, decent MPG for a truck.

Weakness:

Concerned the vehicle won't hold value at the end of the warranty or beyond since there're so many of them on the road.

I love this truck, its my first new vehicle and first pickup. More than adequate power for a light truck, reasonably fuel efficient (4 cylinder), easy to accessorise without having to get lids/bedliners cut. Classic looking truck, does great on the farm even though its only a 2x4. Does what I need it to do without killing me at the pump.

Poor gas mileage (it's an automatic yuck) turning radius sucks

Great ride I love it....a bit sluggish off the line I have the 3.0 but otherwise a great truck. Wish I didn't have to work so much so I could just drive it around town.

Strength:

Comfortable & roomy cab, quiet ride, booming sound system, best looking compact truck on the road.

Weakness:

Poor gas mileage, a bit sluggish off the block (mine's a 3.0)

I got the 3.0 w/flareside & the Tremor sound system package. First off, this is a great looking truck. I have gotten a boat load of compliments. Roomy cab (I'm 6'5 and very comfortable), quiet ride, nice stereo, no problems whatsoever 5,000 miles in. Thumbs up to Ford - traded in a 99 Explorer, 68,000 mi, with nothing but routine maintenance the whole time. My dad has put 235,000 mi on a 94 Ranger & has had a similar experience.

Ac works awesome and still runs as good as new. I recommend you buy one.

The Transmission doesnt get the gear right away but it still gets the results i want.

My Ranger is a 4.0 V6 and it has some balls to it! This is my first vehicle but still I am very happy with it. Me and my friends always race for fun and i almost always win. It has 118K and still runs great!
