Honda Civic Standard Hatchback
Strength:
Acceleration, power Reliability (Standard on every Honda) Everyday driveability Gas mileage Back seat is pretty roomy for a car of this size (I am short, however)
Weakness:
Not many features (including A/C!!) Manual Tranmission has only 4 speeds. Vynil seats No rear wiper. This has been a great car. It is the lowest trim model, and it still accelerates very well with no special add-on's. Reliability is another highlight. I haven't had to make any major repair on this vehicle since I can remember. Of course there's the regular maintenences, but even those can be skipped occaisionally because this car uses so little fluids. Gas milage is always in the 30's, city or highway. The luggage room isn't too bad for a car this small, either. It handles very well and is nimble, even without power steering. The ride is always smooth. Passing power is extraordinary even with 110K. Strength:
4.0 liter inline six cylinder. Looks great. four wheel drive Awesome turning radius. Easy to maneuver. A lot of aftermarket products. Still built solid and strong
Weakness:
Expensive I bought my Wrangler X a year ago and love it. I traded in a Mustang convertible and enjoy the Wrangler much more. I was able to get the Wrangler with nothing but a six cylinder and five speed. The engine has got to be one of its greatest points. Took it on a three thousand mile trip with no problems, although with the soft top, it can be noisy, but hey, it's a Jeep. Nothing else needs to be said. A person wouldn't understand unless they owned one. |

Strength:
Takes you anywhere... in style! It's a magnet for the opposite sex Makes any day more enjoyable Turns on a dime! Great for whipping into parking spots.
Weakness:
I have to cool it on some corners Tires squeal, but that's kinda cool. Grinds when I put it in reverse. I have never hugged a steering wheel before, until I bought my Jeep! Can't explain it, it's a Jeep thing. |

good engine (power, reliability) good quality overall (inwhat you get) Great Looks Great Resale (Best resale of any car i've ever owned) Lots of Aftermarket stuff Jeep people love eachother and wave at eachother w/ always makes you feel good New Jeeps have 4-speed automatic and four wheel discs w/ abs get that
Weakness:
too loud too bumpy feels loose eats gas 13mpg on great day 13 gallon tank Great LITTLE suv. Too small i am 6'1 and my knees hit the dash. No storage, no room for subs. Can't fit people in back easily. Fast until about 40mph then once you are out of 3rd gear your done. Oh and highway driving don't even think about it. I had a stock soft top w/ stock stereo and at 70 mph you couldn't hear anything but disortion. The lack of abs is scary b/c this thing skids w/ big tires and light weight those 32'' super swampers will skid forever. Comes way too basic the lack of everyday conveniences like a/c and cruise control are standard on 97% of all vehicles over $15000. Very tough engine will take what you throw at it execpt for the intake which is too low, i have been in hydrolock twice which is scary, and needs to be raised. Price is too much for what you get. Its like abercrombie or Jcrew you pay for the Jeep name. My next car will be a Rodeo Sport Similar Products Used: cherokee durango LX470 |

Strength:
The biggest strenth in the 6 cylinder Jeep Wrangler is reliability. This engine is very reliable and I understand it's the same engine from the 60's (I think). My 1998 model has had a few more issues (minor) than the 1992 model I previously owned but I am still very happy overall. I'm not big on regular oil changes or regular maintenance and I'm still very happy with the performance. Also, the price of a loaded Jeep Wrangler is much more reasonable than any other car or SUV I could find. Finally, I was floored by how well it retains it's value. My trade-in Jeep Wrangler without air conditioning which I bought used and drove for 3+ years was still easily worth $5k more than I owed on it! The dealership had it sold shortly after I traded it in for the newer, loaded model I have now.
Weakness:
The biggest weakness is the bumpy & loud ride, but, hey, this is a real SUV so whadda expect? I don't need to have lengthy conversations on my cell phone anyway. The next biggest weakness is poor gas mileage but, again, whadda expect out of a real SUV? Get the expanded gas tank. I say the trade off for a reliable engine is well worth the extra $$$ I kick out for gas. Finally, I wouldn't recommend a soft top unless you already have a hard top. The soft top is really not a year 'round kind of top but it's great for summertime when you want to cruise in the nice weather. Get a hard top for the winter months - you'll be glad you did. I love my Jeep Wrangler! It's been 4 years with this one (my 2nd Wrangler) and I still love it. Both have been 6 cylinder models (I understand that the 4 cylinder model is crap). The best part is that people still think it's new and I avoid the "new-car-fever-cuz-mine-looks-old" syndrome all together. My current model is loaded with the complete chrome package and it still didn't cost me a fortune. Similar Products Used: 1992 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl |

0-70 mph, moves like a MF, good interior design, timeless exterior. no one f##ks with u on the road.
Weakness:
greedy b#stard. In Britain petrol is on average 72 pence per litre, thats one dollar fifty and i have a foot of lead. I have just bought my dream car, i have waited years for the thing and i love it. I paid £2500 under the book price (£9500 intead of £12000 and with waranties coming oput of my arse, i got lucky (money talks bullsh#t runs the marathon . In Wales (UK) there are very few around, not surprising as our fuel is twice as exspensive as yours, also jap 4*4 vehicles are prefered as they are cheap to run and seem to hold a status value (bollocks). I will change the b##ch to gas as it will reduce running costs to half so i can pump the MF some. It is a great car and i get loads of looks as people cannot believe that a car shaped like an outside sh#thouse can move like a MF. I do however read alot of negative press about wranglers but hey F##K em I love the b##ch. cheers shorty. p.s Please send me info on Jeep products and gear. taraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Jeep Wrangler
Strength:
Top-down fun. Go-anywhere capability. Great if you live near the mountains and love to hike, camp, or fish, etc. Rugged and distinctive good looks. Unique personality. Women seem to like it. Lots of accessories available, if you like to individualize your SUV.
Weakness:
Noisy, although not as much as previous models. Scary handling at high speeds or windy conditions. Don't try any sudden maneuevers. Poor gas mileage. Microscopic cargo space, unless you remove back seat. No security (windows can be unzipped from the outside and doors are designed to be removed). Don't keep anything valuable in your Jeep. Seating position is too high and is uncomfortable for long trips. Not really suitable as a primary vehicle. ...Did I say that I liked the Wrangler? No vehicle has more personality or versatility than the Jeep Wrangler. It's for the adventurous and young-at-heart, able to take you anywhere, although not with any luxury or comfort. Great for short city trips or (of course) off-road excursions. Not for long drives, unless you are very tolerant of noise and bounciness. Do I like the Wrangler? I love it! But you have to know what you're in for before buying one (I don't own one; my girl-friend does). Otherwise you may be very disappointed. Similar Products Used: Other Jeep products. Liberty is more civilized but also good off-road. |

Strength:
*The 4.0 liter engine has a great kick to it *Hard top in the winter, convertable during the summer *Snow, rain or mud...doesn't matter, always a good day for a Wrangler. *Nothing like it on the road...drive it you'll see what I mean.
Weakness:
Well Jeepy is a thirsty little guy....at least he prefers the cheap gas. I use to make people who made the statement "i love my car". Come on, a car is just a means of getting from point A to point B. At least that was my opinion till I bought a Jeep wrangler. The minute I heard the growl of that engine I knew this was like no other vehicle out there. Imagine being able to take on any road, anywhere at anytime. Transforming from a hard top to a soft top makes it feel like a whole new car to enjoy. And for cargo space, when its just you and a buddy take out the back seat. I have filled my jeep with more ice fishing , camping and hunting equipment then even I thought possible. And although this car is a powerhouse it comes in a small package, not only an advantage on the trails but a blessing on my trips into NYC. Imagine a big SUV trying to parralel park in Manhattan. What else is there to say....."I love this jeep"....don't think I'll ever not own one. Similar Products Used: Nothing else is even close. |

Strength:
Coolness factor. Don't buy this if you're a wimp. Fun, go anywhere capability. Looks awesome with big mud-terrain tires.
Weakness:
Well if you're a tree hugger you could complain about the gas mileage I guess. It doesn't get the mileage of a hockey puck but...... Sometimes you have to sacrifice what's practical for what is cool! That's basically the bottom line with the Jeep Wrangler. It's an american icon. Sure, it's no smooth(although it's not bad either) riding luxury car, get's only 17 MPG with the 6, and in a headwind on the highway, it feels like a barn door pushing against the wind but hey, it's got style and is fun to drive. It has good acceleration except for on the highway where aerodynamics come in. It's actually fine on the highway unless you're driving into a moderate or more headwind. If you're into true american products and you have a sense of style and originality, then the Wrangler is for you. Go for it. Similar Products Used: There really is nothing like a Jeep Wrangler. It is the only vehicle that still resembles it's first year of production. |

Jeep Sahara 4.0
Strength:
Great power, anywhere accessable, minimal maintance, great rock climbing, and perfect in the mud.
Weakness:
Poor gas mileage. I love my jeep. I can go anywhere I want. My jeep is a multi-purpose vehicle, I can go topless, dressed suffisticatd, or go casual. Depends on the mood. I would not trade my jeep for anything. I am glad it is small, that way you don't have to worry about back seat drivers. Similar Products Used: 2000 F350 |
