Strength:

Great classic look with very basic interior. Fun to drive to.

Weakness:

Drinks the gas and does anyone know where the cup holder is located ??!!

Sharp looking jeep, it really turns heads when out driving it. A very noisy running vehicle but having a Jeep is something new to me. I really like this Jeep alot and I got a very good deal on it by paying well below book value and it only has 64,000 miles on it. A good find and a rare find indeed.

Weakness:

Over $13,000 invested, and only about $2500 in mods, I paid $6,000.. do the math and that's more than $4500 in parts in 2 years and I do the labor...... ***Blew the engine twice (Once Timing belt, other a gasket blew and heated FAST) ***2 new distributors ***Constant exauhst issues (Altons' did work -- They suck) ***2 new instrument clusters (Kept melting) ***Choppy idle that even the dealership in Spokane (Not saying much there either) couldn't figure out.. They told me to get a new car... Great Service there.. ***On and On and On.........................

Beutiful car, all the bells and whistles, good power for a 4cl... Put some extras on it, and got MANY complimants.. But I've replace everything in the car but the transmission and clutch. (Cause it's a manual, I've read the autmatics are CRAP)...

Strength:

Price Reliability Classic look Fits perfect into parking spaces on the slim side. With rear seat down provides ample hauling space. Loved by border collies (the evidence is on the windows) Short enough for most garage door clearances.

Weakness:

Road noise (or so they say) Limited leg room in the rear seat.

My Jeeps have always provided the stability and reliability we required. Sure she doesn't ride like a Navigator but it didn't cost 50K either. Road noise is loud, but you will get used to it and won't even notice it. I ride a Harley so I'm accustomed to loudness! I really thought I wanted a Durango when I bought this vehicle but Thank God the salesman at Jay Wolfe was a rude, cocky little SOB or I would have made a big mistake! Even in adverse weather conditions I drive with confidence knowing this vehicle will perform. The last day of college finals it snowed 11 inches and I got my daughter there in Ole Reliable before the snow plows even made their appearance. We dno longer haul kids around but my 6'2" husband and border collie fit just fine. As a Realtor I transport clients and some have complained about leg room in the back and others seem to have trouble getting in and out. (They've never had to get out of my daughter's Cougar - now that is a challenge - you could be in the back seat for days)! However, if you are looking for an all-around great vehicle at a super price and aren't of the frou-frou type you can't beat a Jeep. HAIL TO THE JEEP!

Strength:

Great accleration with the 4.0. Comfortable seating. Lots of sleeping room in back for those hard winds and treacherous rains in the back woods.

Weakness:

Paint has a crackled look. Had it on my 95 Grand Cherokee too. They should come with a lift.

I've taken it up and down roads not fit for a $60,000 Bummer... I mean Hummer. Come on now, Jeep has won many a war and again in the SUV battles it has stood triumphant.

Strength:

Good, strong engine. Fairly easy to work on and diagnose.

Weakness:

Some of the parts are sold in assemblies, rather than individually.

I LOVE my Jeep. It is extremely dependable and gets me anywhere I need to go. The 4.0 liter in-line six is a good, reliable engine that will get up and go as well as take me as far into the NW forests as I desire. Jeeps are slightly rugged on the outside with comfortable interiors (perfect in my opinion). Mine is low maintenance, but regular maintenace makes it run like a dream. I've put a lot of miles on it and it still runs very strong.

strong, durable, 4wd never have had problems in any condition, very peppy lots of pick up speed, for an SUV has great gas comsumption, i get 500km about 320 miles on highway

Weakness:

not enough room in the back seat, and its just a bench,

had it for 3 years, was 38k, got it for 33k with employee discount, have about 65,000 km about 43,000 miles and not a single problem whatsoever, probably the only chrsyler product i would buy and i work there, has the straight 6 or inline 6 engine that has been built since wwII, honestly its probably the only car i would ever buy cause i know i'll get 4-500,000km as long as i do regular maintenace, you do take a hit in looks, but lots of people like the retro style, i recommend the SUV for anyone who wants a car that will last 10+ years, take you anywhere, tow whatever you want and be reasonable on gas, i'm driving mine to the ground than buying another one, sure i could have bought a neon for 23k, but i would have to buy another one in 5yrs and put god knows how much money in it, i've just done tires, brakes, and oil changes, but thats expected

Weakness:

bah, the gas

I love my Jeep. It's so awesome to drive. I enjoy it everytime I drive my Jeep around. The drive is a little bumpy but that's part of the fun. you are able to feel the road. I kinda get bored driving in a smooth ride after I drive my Jeep. It is definitely very durable. You can take it anywhere, onroad or offroad, snow or not, it will go anywhere!. The back seat is a little cramp but I don't use it much anyways. i am a college student so I just put my backseat down and have tons of room to put my things. I love the boxy look of the Jeep. Definitely make you feel tough driving it.

quick off the line power. smooth ride when you get used to it. durable and you're not afraid to get it dirty.

Weakness:

eats gas, over sensitive check engine light (possibly a good thing)

I have just bought my first jeep and am very impressed. I liked the classic boxy design that still gives it a characteristic unlike the trendy, overpriced suv's that every soccer mom has went for. But I love the 6 in line power. after driving a 4 cyl. tacoma, the 6 gives me something off the line as I embarrass every hispanic with thier suped up civic. Thankfully I have a well paying job to afford the gas. I haven't had the chance to take it off road yet. Not until the future wife goes out of town. But I agreee that for the price it is a good first time suv that still has class.

Strength:

Power! Good Economy Dead Solid Reliable Looks nice Good 4WD system Good Ergonomics throughout

Weakness:

Small rear seat area and doors

I love my Cherokee. Very fast, humilates everything at a stoplight, even in the rain(4WD is great). It's perfectly level and smooth at 80+mph, unlike some other SUVs and trucks I've driven. It's very durable, I have a lead foot and so far it hasn't had but one problem(check engine light came on, turned out to be a slight leak in the gas cap seal due to some dirt, reset the computer and wiped the seal clean and it was fixed). It's got 30" tires and the great looking factory alloy rims. The stock sound system(I have the base system with casette only) is really very good, and the radio has better reception than a lot I've used. The build quality has been excellent beside a fuse panel cover that likes to pop off(bent the plastic hook out a bit, no more problems). The speedometer and other gauges are also amazingly exact, a feature that many cars don't have. The speedometer was checked with a GPS and is dead on. It has 55K miles on it now and the only things I've done are changed the filter(drop in K&N) and the oil a few times, it runs strongly. The cooling system in this car is also excellent. It never goes above normal running temperature(210 degrees) even in the worst stop and go 100 degree traffic. The A/C is also very good, cools the car down in no time. The only design complaint I have with it are that the rear seat and doors are smallish, but it's never a big deal as people rarely ride there for long.
