Strength:
Space, easy entry/exit in the rear. But best of all the tail gate opens 3 ways and I can load and unload with ease!
Weakness:
I only wish the it had a better MPG. I love my SUV. It has plenty of room and I love the way it handles. I have no problems zipping around town. I load up my kids and we have all the space we need. You can't beat the ride! Similar Products Used: 1975 Pinto, 1988 Festiva, 1991 Areostar, 94 Windstar and a 1998 Contour. Yes,I am a FORD faithful gal! |

Excursion
Strength:
Huge capacity for both people and cargo. Large towing capability and very good mileage for a large truck 17+. Excellent outward visibility and well appointed interior in the Limited.
Weakness:
Radio, which I had switched the day after I bought the vehicle. Oil changes are coarse, close to $100. The best large SUV on the market today. If you are looking for a urban SUV look elsewhere, however if your looking for a working SUV then there is no better choice out there than the Ford Excursion. Similar Products Used: 2000 Suburban, not even close in quality, fuel economy or towing capacity. |

Strength:
Power in the diesel is unmatched by any. I even get @17 mpg. It's tow weight is 11,000 lbs which is perfect for just about any travel trailer It handels great and feels very stable. It even fits in my standard garage. It has Ford's years of quality built into itand it shows.
Weakness:
The stereo is a little lacking in the power and bass. It could use some revamp. The ford excursion is by far the best all around vehicle for any family that is over 5 people and tow trailers. It's size is ideal for working while holding the entire family in comfort. I have loved my excursion since day one and have never even thought that it was "TOO BIG". It's amaging that the Chevy Suburban has been around for years and no one complains about it's size. It is only 6 inches longer, and 3 inches wider. That's the size of a childs foot Similar Products Used: I owned a Chevy Suburban and was not impressed with the handleing or the lack of power in it's gas guzzling V-8. |

Strength:
Towing power, comfort for long hauls.
Weakness:
Gas consumption. If gas is a concern, do not consider an excursion. In my case, I need a towing vehicle for a 8600lb travel trailer. I previously owned a 5.4 expediton which I loved, but modifications would have to be made. The comments that it could tow a house are absouletly true. Even if Ford stops making them in '04, I have found a vehicle for life. Similar Products Used: I also have a dodge ram 1500 and about 10% less gas usage |

Strength:
BIG Balls
Weakness:
Gas mileage sucks BIG DOG ON THE BLOCK!I use it to pull a 18 ft. box trailer with my 1955 Ford show car. Total weight is approx. 7000 lbs. You have to watch speedometer, you don't even know the trailer is behind you. I used to own a '99 Dodge Durango, it was a piece of crap. Similar Products Used: They don't make anything that will compare |

Sheer power, It's Classy look
Weakness:
none I love it, it is powerful, classy, top of the line SUV. And if some people have had some bad luck with there's, they have to remember it is a man made machine, so some one might have made a mistake on theres. But they can't say the Vehicle does not perform the way it was made to, it does that and much more, And the Suburban does not compare to this monster suv, in any way, shape or form. Similar Products Used: 1994 Ford F-350 XLT, Crew Cab, Dual Wheel, 460 gas engine, Loved it. 2001 Dodge 1500 4x4, club cab, Magnum, nice truck, needed more room and pulling power. |

I love this truck. Its huge not econimical and it pisses people off when you get on there butt. You don't buy a truck like this if you have to worry about gas mileage. |
