Strength:

handling, speed, looks, looks, handling, and well every thing else. even with a 3.0 it gets along. i have smoked mustangs with 3.7s in them. no one has them. great stock sound, front wheel drive really come in handy here. The girls love it. I had to recently wash off a kiss mark.

Weakness:

it would be nice to have maybe a V8 or something a little bigger. the wheel shakes a little when going over 115mph. other then that nothing. And it could use a 6 speed (I have a 5)

i love my car. being that I’m only 16 and this this is my first car i don’t really have anything to relate it to, but all i know is i love it. with the 17in rims it really gets the looks. where i live everyone has mustangs and ford cars there are no 3000GTs around.

power switch, shape, and its ability to have much more power by an expert.

the weight is the problem...it could be faster by putting lighter parts...

Strength:

This beast is fast! High 13'' 1/4 mile times stock and low to mid 5 second 0-60''s. Pretty strong and reliable engine.

Weakness:

Getrag transmission is horrible - I''ve gone thru 2 already; one being defective from the reseller. Spun rod bearings common, but not nearly as bad as the tranny.

This is one fun car! After some research and looking around, I found a 91 VR-4 (The twin turbo model) for $14,000. A little high, but I paid it since it only had 46,000 miles on it.

Strength:

One of the most beautiful designs ever drawn. Drives like a dream, smooth.

Weakness:

Needs a cup holder.

This car is like owning a Ferrari at a price that normal people can afford. I was looking at new Eclipses and BMW 3 series. I saw this 20K mile pearl white with factory chrome wheels example and fell in love. I was at the Las Vegas Airport parked next to a NSX and a Supra and people ran out of the terminal to tell me mine was by far more beautiful than the other two cars. Great handling and luxury, Added a K&N air filter and engine is a lot more responsive. Turns heads.

Strength:

impressive gripe (as good as my previous Quattro), ample power, lasting styling, comfortable

Weakness:

parts are expensive. don't try to light up the tires because you will eventually break the trans (most under 30 yrs old do)

Very capable GT. Power, AWD, comfort. Only "repair" in 10 1/2 years was two months ago, front ball joints (necessary) and all front end bushings (my decision)

Now looking at M3 (E46) but that's a 2 yr wait so I have more time with the VR4 ;>)

I bought my 3000 GT SL a little over a year ago....Its Red and I love it!!!It has one of the best body styles out there for a sports car. Kinda glad their not making them anymore, as that makes mine that much more unique. Everyone thinks its brand new, must be the great paint job it came with.

Strength:

Curb appeal

Weakness:

Mechanical longevity. Plastic parts designed to break after warrantee expires. Blue Book value dropped $4K in 2 years (From 99 to 01)

It was a beautiful car with loads of head turning action. Handled GREAT! Front wheel drive allows powerful turns. Looks like it’s going 90, standing still. GTSL model with 3.0 engine was not as peppy as I expected. Not a car you want to race off the line against anyone. At about 90 K miles, it started to fall apart. Interior plastic and rubber started to shrink and degrade (in Tucson) despite all efforts to cut out sun. Electronic controlled suspension became loose and noisy, and a very expensive fix ($2000+). Clutch went at 95K. AC went out at 100K. Wind noise problems. Very small back seat, not suitable for adults. Trunk space barely big enough for golf clubs. Summary: Great looking car, babe magnet. Mechanical piece of junk.

Good handling, very fast, big enough to take someone in the back,
head turner, good mpg, boody styling that will last for years.

Weakness:

expencive parts (so what)heavy, not enough pedigree.

Fantastic,if you want a car with looks, performance, handling then buy this car.As you fly pass other cars look at the drivers face, on it you will see the look off(WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT),At the moment I drive a black one, have seen the newer ones in silver which I think look that little bit better. Will keep this car for another 2 years, then probably
buy another one, just havant seen another sports car that that can give me what the GTO gives me,one hell of a ride.

It is a beautiful car. It has alot of power and it handles well.

Weakness:

mine has slow starting acceleration untell the turbos kick in. Also I can't seam to get the factory equipped car phone to work.

I absolutly love this car. It is been my dream car for about three years. When I finely had the money to get one, I found out it was worth the wait. It handles great. It has wounderful acceleration. Plus it is fun to look at and drive. The seats (back seats excluded) are comfortable and the inside is gorgeous.

nice trction control can be easily tune to 400 hp fun car to drive on track
very good brakeing and it hardly have big problems

Weakness:

too heavy front lose grip too easly dead ulgy interior water come's in
the car in rain even when going very fast, the trction control is too good
too slow in 1st and 2nd gear lots of weird noise when going slow

the interior very ulgy the car can not be call a sports car like the
Rx-7 and not yet can be call an exotic car, the weight is a big problem
feel like i m driveing a seden. the parts used in this car is very
relible but not good for raceing TOO HEAVY..... in rain its very hard to
control w/o the trction control. the Supra could very much be slower
then a RX-7 on autocross trunk is smaller then an Rx-7 the T-top is
a big problem makes noise and takes at lest 10 mins to take off not
include the time to find the tools to get the job done. and the tools
provide by toyota breaks very easly. strong car for drag but not the
