Roomy, looks nice, lots of storage, safety features are way beyond any other van (very important to a mom), price is great!, 10 year 100,000 mile warrenty, base package is set up to pull a pop-up camper, etc............
Weakness:
None I can think of. I love this van! Wow is it roomy and comfy. We traded in from our Ford Windstar Limited (Hated it!) EVERYTHING broke on that sucker. We just took a trip to Tennessee with 2 teenage boys and a toddler in our Sedona and had sooo much more leg and storage room then the normal van. The 4" wider and the 8" longer sure makes a huge difference. This Van drives so smooth and turns just like a small car. Similar Products Used: Windstar (Ford) Town & Country (Chrystler) |

brakes - but is it the van or just poor service from the dealerships bought van to upgrade for children. Have had nothing but problems since. 36000 miles and have had to put 5 sets of brake rotors on it. Keep being told that Kia is aware of problem but seems to never get fixed. |

Fairly roomy, sound system works good.
Weakness:
A/C has never worked properly. Once it has been running for a while, it starts making a strange humming noise...cow like noise or sounds like a motorcycle coming up from behind. I've had it looked at but the dealer doesn't know why it's making that noise and they won't replace anything until the know for sure what it is. Overall, my van is okay.I have had a few problems. A/C has worked very poorly. A lot of strange sounds come it. Dealer doesn't know why. Both my husband and I own Kia's, he has the Sportage. Similar Products Used: Kia Sportage |

Nice Color. Good Stereo (when the alternator isn't going!) It all started with the driver's doorbell going off and having to disconnect that myself cause they couldn't figure it out(that was 3 weeks after purchase and should have given it back to them then). It has been a slow spiral to hell: alternator belt falling off; check engine light on continuously; airbag light on; can't fill up fuel tank properly cause of emissions control problems; headlights burn out repeatedly; back door sticking; back window wiper inefficient; airconditioning on permanently; gas hog; and to top it off parts are delivered by SNAIL MAIL.

Very smooth ride, plenty of room for family of 5. LOVE the DVD player
Weakness:
Vehicle problems after 1 1/2 years, and not great gas mileage. We bought our Kia in April 2004, we were very impressed at first! Rides great, came with a DVD player the kids loved it and so did we......until Sept. 2005 the A/C started blowing hot air. The dealership is 50 minutes away and had to work out arrangements to get another vehicle to drive so I didnt get to take it in until March 2006. I was told on a Friday after there was a leak in the compressor and by Monday the dealership stated my Refridgerent was contaimanted and said warrany will no longer cover it and wanted ME to pay for it. I am now fighting to get a 2004 Van fixed. There is NO reason why the A/C should stop working with only 38000 miles and a 2004. I dont know if it is Kia or the dealership how dont stand behind their products. There is NO WAY we could contaimant it! Similar Products Used: Ford Windstar |

Very comfortable and easy to drive. Like it much better than mother-in-laws 2006 Grand Caravan.
Weakness:
Poor gas milage. DarCars Kia on Branch AVE in MD really bites...I have taken my van there and have it come back like someone played demolition derby with it and drove it 80+ miles. They are fixing ti however everytime I go to pick it up there is more dents or scratches that wher not there before. With over 70,000 miles this vehicle has had no major problems. We have ad the door seals replaced and basic oil changes ever 3000 miles. |

Comfortable seating, middle seats can be retracked for wheelchair
Weakness:
electrical problems are constant with a/c over 80 degrees if it sits idle. Battery collects acid even when all harness are replaced and new battery put in. Replaced Alt/battery after a/c caused a fire in the alt. Yes, of course after the warrenty expired by a few HUNDRED miles. And dealer went out of business, gee wonder why. Since the third day electrical problems started with the battery and radio. Radio wouldn't shut off and would change channels and go on and off on its own. I see gas cap problems, yes if the gas cap isn't put on by clicking the check light will go for quite awhile. Airbag light flashes and needs to be reset. They claim its moisture under the drivers power seat- how? It never got wet from me. Similar Products Used: Doge Caravan |
