Strength:
-Beautiful styling, excellent cornering, lots of luggage space, good mileage, powerful 1.8l engine at high rpms
Weakness:
-needs more torque but what can u expect from a 4cyl? -thin paint on exterior, easily scratched or chipped -visibility poor, skipping cd player, loud engine, lack of aftermarket parts, cheap interior plastic Beautiful looking car and it still turns heads since i bought a year ago. Handles nice on the curves with excellent power on high rpms. The interior lets you fit snug with a cockpit atmosphere, very impressive look from the outside. The fold out chairs makes it very practical for hauling large boxes. Similar Products Used: Mercedes SLK230, Toyota Solara SLE, Honda Accord Coupe, Acura Integra GS |

high end torque without the overdrive and bodyshape is like a little version of the modena 360.
Weakness:
blind spot(what else), not so great BASS on stereo(just put the volume up)no supercharger/turbo available yet from TRD. Power comes at high Revs, Trick I use on freeways is cruise in at 60 MPH then press the Overdrive off while stepping on the gas, ZOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM and leave them behind you. LOVE the car, I''''m 41 yrs old with 3 kids + wife(wife drives a y2k quest) and I wanted something sporty, like a Miata. Its a good thing I didn''''t buy the mazda (nothing wrong)but, this car makes me feel like a teenager again. Similar Products Used: ''''98 Mazda protege, ''''80 Porsche 924, ''''84 280 Datsun ZX |

Needs LSD badly, would be much faster yet Dreadfull dash Leather seats I have had the TSport (European version of the GTS 192PS)for 10 months and am very happy with it. It looks good, its economical and definetely fast enough to beat most cars on the road. Excellent cornering ability. A car to drive if driving experience is a must. Needs LSD. Nice look, good sound system, excellent gas mileage, smooth ride for a very small car.
Weakness:
Blind spots are kinda bad, but you''ll adjust. Just use your mirrors. Pickup is hesitant at times too. I don''t like the display very much (that green and orange, uck) but thats not so bad. I really enjoy this car. Handles well, looks nice, great on gas. Affordable, fits into budget. Similar Products Used: None |

powerful vvtli engine . great styling interior and exterior. kick ass yoko tires
Weakness:
when shiftin tsting in powerban is hard. aftermarket vvtli controller will make the car significantly faster this car seems to be very underated. i bout the car last december and i was chossing between the GTS integra type R or a Prelude. Boy am i happy i picked the GTS. it cost less than both and runs a lot harder. I have Taken it to a local track and beaten the all mighty Type R and the rsx type S and Preludes arent too far behind. Toyota and Yamaha have done a wonderful job with the VVTLI system whcih really takes off after 6000 rpm. it handles flawlessly and is a true pocket rocket if driven correctly Similar Products Used: None |

Great appearance, nice sound system, good gas mileage, comfortable seating (at least for me, I''m only 5'' 5"), easy to use features.
Weakness:
Blind spots (though honestly, if you position your mirrors properly and pay attention, you should not have problems. Use all three mirrors for best effect), back seat space is extremely tight, and plastic is kinda cheesy (just keep a stock of Armor All and you''ll be straight), there''s a little hesitation when hitting the gas sometimes, but not too bad. This is a very good car. I have had it only for a short time, but I can honestly say I am pleased with its handling and appearance. Good gas mileage, and the look really turns heads. (Though I am kinda scared the cops are gonna trip out on me). But I digress... If you want something youthful that really captures your personality and isn''t costly, this is the right car. Sporty motor that WILL SKUNK the following, Civic''s, Preludes, Integras, and the odd Mustang (yes v8''s). If you can learn to work a six speed right, you''ll own. Believe me, this car isn''t Porsche fast, but it''s dangerously quick. Mine is bone stock and I''ve notched many kills in the domestic realm. They may have had automatics, but I don''t care, if you come to drag, don''t come unprepared. Handling exceeds most cars I''ve driven, SVT Cobras, the new Vettes, Z28''s, Integras.... for a FWD car, it doesn''t push like you''d think, and you can feel when the tires break traction. I''m taking mine to more and more racing events, as stock, and doing very well. The longer I drive it the better I get at pushing it to it''s limits. Beautiful leather interior, plush and supple, I love the seats and steering wheel, plus the shifter is a nice fit.
Weakness:
Cockpit is smallish, I''m only 5''9" but, it''s not cramped at my size, jsut snug, think Miata''ish. Forget about anyone sitting in back unless they have no legs. Chessey plastic, I''m with everyone that has complained about the cheap plastic, it''s just that, cheap. Shame Toyota. The blind spot to the sides, I don''t notice the back blind spot as much. I''ve owned this car for just under 4 months and I must say, it is a capable car, not the fastest, but willing IF you know how to drive it. First of all, those that have said it is weak and underpowered, please, buy the 6-speed and learn to drive it before you judge. I''d been in the car all of about 20 minutes and I could consistantly leave 5-8 foot lines of rubber. Take the tach up to about 5 grand and dump the clutch, you''ll rocket off. If you prefer a little less wheel spin, use some clutch "english" at about 4 thousand and ease it out as you feel the tires bit, pound the gas and be ready to slam into second, before you know it you''ve hit 8 grand, push the clutch nearly to the floor, mash the gash, let out on again, and find third, repeat the process for fourth gear and I promise you, you''ll see nearly 100mph in the quarter. If you know how to drive, it''s possible. The engine pulls nicely above fourthousand in town, if you don''t feel the need to do breakneck speeds. The seats fit nicely, holding you in place when you feel like testing the super glue adhesion of the BF Goodrich radials, find some corners and be amazed. I''ve driven one Porsche 911 in my life and it was the only other car that handled like the Celica GT-S. Again, the seats are fabulous. With the orange gauges a bit odd to read, 100-110mph being at the top of the speedo. Other than that, the cd player controls are easy to get to, the climate controls are well placed for no look temp settings. Handy at 120mph. The back seat is a joke, but hey, it saves on insurance. The blind spots are a little troublesome, although, the rear wing doesn''t bother me as much being as I bought the GT-S with the Action package, with the larger rear wing. I see okay, but only when the mirrors are well adjusted. Before you get used to the over the shoulder blind spots, you''ll be nervous about fast lane changes. The model I own isn''t that new, but the TRD front grille and rocker panels add a little something to the car. It was sporty enough, but this... more machismo. Astheticly pleasing, this car delivers the goods. Everything and then some
Weakness:
None that I can think of. I bought this car on September of last year and until now I have no complaints and no problems. I have put 21k miles on this car and drive this car pretty hard. This car has all the good things and then some. The style is aggressive specially with a kit. I recently had a kaminari kit installed, K&N air filter and dual exhausts, which gives me added horsepower, about 10 percent more. My GT is blue. With a few TRD stickers on it, this baby looks even more stylish and aggressive. The red and white TRD stickers clashes with my blue celica (USA Theme color). The rear looks awesome with a capital "A" TRD sticker on the back and TRD license plate. I redline this car often and this baby runs hard. I like the way the car response everytime I shift gears. It catapults you hard on your seat. And the sound of my DUAL hayame exhaust kicks butt of any sound of exhaust out there. This car kicks hondas butt, especially those civics, ex and si which are very annoying to see, too many of them. Similar Products Used: honda civics don''t compare. The GT can also whip some integras. |

Strength:
handles very well very predictable, great gas milage ofr a "sporty" car
Weakness:
I drove the GTS for 300 miles and got to tell you this car has NO low end torque! it makes all the sounds but is NOT very quick or fast... I''ve found honda prelude VTEC as well as the toyota MR2 outperform this car in acceleration... even though the lude also has low end problems, the vvti system or whatever it''s called is much clunkier then the vtec in honda... Different look (good) Good handling Good gas milage Great for teens/college kids Similar Products Used: Honda Prelude Toyota MR 2 Mazda Rx7 |

Toyota Celica GT-S (sportronic)
Strength:
Auto transmission great for driving in city traffic; Sportronic mode fun for freeway driving. Excellent Accelleration and braking (I have Anti-lock brakes on mine). Nice interior & cargo space is larger than most people would expect.
Weakness:
Blind Spots take about a day 2 get used 2. Air Conditiong sometimes lowers accelleration noticably (this is usual for most small cars). Ever since I had seen the advertisement for the new Celica in 2000, I liked the way they looked. Now that I own one, I know that they''re even more fun 2 drive.
