reliable: for 10k/1.5 year of use, never let me down. I changed the engin oil every 3 month, and did one tune up. economic: for local about 20-25MPG, on high way about 33-40MPG

weak engine, 4 cylinder. accelerate very slow. Good buy for a used car, reliable, smooth, stable, never give problems. Similar Products Used: Nissan Sentra, Honda prelude, toyota corolla, caverlier, builk skylark, Mishubish mirage, honda civic, |

Strength:
The price was great. It handles the road very well. Mine is a 4 cylinder, but it has no problem picking up speed. The interior is very roomy, and the msg feature for the radio is off the hook.
Weakness:
ABS is not standard in the Camry, that;s about it. I absolutely love this car. It has everything that makes you feel like you''re driving a luxury car. This price was lower than I thought it would be. The interior does not look cheap, the stereo sounds great, the trunk is huge, and the sunroof only requires one touch. Get this car. Strength:
RELIABLE smooth ride 4 cyl good gas mileage comfortable resale value
Weakness:
side panels collect alot of dings. or could it be inconsiderate truck and suv drivers who''s doors open above side moldings? no other major weaknesses I miss my Camry. I have owned it for 4 years without a single problem. One week ago I was in an accident and totaled it. (Had only one year to pay off)I am not looking forward to shelling out another twenty something thousand but will definately buy another Camry. Weakness:
DESIGN, soft steering, Lousy stereo system. I didnt buy, it was my rental car.Drove it for 2 weeks. I wouldnt spend my money on something ugly like this. I think it looks like crap. 1. The front end looks squashed. The ugly headlights run way too far up the front fender (just like the Camry). 2. The rear overhang is extremely long (just like the Camry). It would better suit a Crown Vic. Hello Toyota, have you heard of cab forward? It involves moving all of the wheels out, not just the front two. I really can''t stand the looks of the new Camry. The headlights are weird. I sat in the back once and I couldn''t believe how limited the rear seat headroom is. How can Toyota sell these ugly cars by the hundreds of thousands? I don''t get it. Strength:
Fit and finish (even after 146K miles), smooth lexus type feel. Reliability.
Weakness:
Noise in rear I can''t figure it out I''ve had this car for almost 3 years. I bought it used with 56,000 miles, I now have 148,000 miles on it. The couple of things I''ve done: Front and rear strut mounts, both rear struts, front right axle (I probably hit pot hole to hard), tires and a battery. Can''t complain, this car is my daily driver still and I love it. I have the 2.2 liter 4 and although I won''t win any drag races, it have enough pep to get up to highway speeds. One big problem I have is a mysterious thumping noise in the rear. I have replaced everything and still it remains. I would buy another one in a heart beat. This car is smooth and creamy. I feel very safe and secure in her. |

Camry 2.2 LE
Strength:
Engine : it requires less maintenance though it''s a 8-year old car. Brake : very easy to brake. Steering : easy to steer too.
Weakness:
suspension : it''s too soft and too comfort. You can''t find any fun but comfort while conering. It''s extreme smooth, the engine, transmission, brakes and suspension produce smooth acceration and braking. It''s a very good family car. Enough space for 5 adults. Good over all ride ,roomy ,ok to drive.Great trunk space.
Weakness:
Every time I brought it in for it''s check up''s it would cost me $150.00 to 372.00 to check that every thing was ok . Then the transmission went out at 9,000 miles and had to be replaced under warranty thank heavens the front pads brakes went bad at 45,0000 . The drivers window sticks intermitten can''t get do it at the dealer''s. but it loves to do it in the rain or when it''s 98 degree''s out side . If you I drive alot had the car 3 years and have 70,000 miles on it .Needs front brake agine. Drove an S10 blazer before this and never touched the brakes until it had 71,000 miles on it . I put 275,000 on my S10 and never spent more than $125.00 on repairs at any one time. Have fun fun fun with your Toyota''s . The window''s fog up if in the mornings if I don''t keep the fan motor and outside air vent on never had a car do that . I need to take in agin this time they want $250.00 how do you save with a front wheel drive belt driven engine? You don''t. Everone said I couldn''t go wrong with a Toyota . Well maybe not if you don''t mind spending what money I thout I was saving on fuel by driving a 4 cyl., on up keep.I won''t take everone''s advise any more. I have babed this car ever sents I bought it. Drove my S10 hard and never let up on. The guy that bought it ,is still driving it. Over 335,000 on it. who new. |
