Great handling nice slick looks, stillen makes almost everything you can want for it not very easy to find around where I live

Weakness:

Emergencey break freezes in winter but that is very easy to fix

I use to be into eclipses and talons until a friend got an se-r and I realized that I liked the fact that there not as popular and stock 4 stock they can take an Acura Integra GSR

This car is great.
I have never had any kind of problems with this car, it starts every morning with a big smile.
The look of the car is timeless, the engine is VERY strong and the rest is just perfect.
This is my kind of a real car and it`s not that expensive to buy.
Try it......

Weakness:

The radio is nothing to talk about, after just 1 week, i had the radio changed to a better model, but thats all......

I just love it

It's a cool looking little car with lots of ammenities for the money. I get great gas milage. Smooth powerplant. Easy to maintain. Roomy interior for size. I hear that they are pretty reliable. Nice interior. Comfy seats. Insurance is not too bad.

Weakness:

Transmission does too much gear hunting, and it really is a slug off the line, especially with the A/C on, which I wish blew a little cooler. I've replaced the cassete w/ a cd player already, but the stock speakers are trash. Cupholders hold not much more than a coke can.

I really like it. Comfy, roomy, and reliable. Needs a bit more power, though, the auto just kills the performance. I would recomend this car to someone who puts economy and style well before speed.

great gas mileage, great sleak looks with spoiler it has a very sporty look with the coupe feel, not too bad on space in bcak seat i am constantly haveing people in the back with not too much problems, trunk space isnt bad either although i dont have much with the box i ahve in the back with my twelve inch subs, great overall car

Weakness:

everyone talks about the crappy stereo well i wouldnt know that well b/c i put new speakers and cd player with in a month, the only other weakness would be the small engine but i guess that is what helps out with the gas mileage

I love my first car and it has 95000 miles on it and nothing has gone out... i love the gas mileage it gets and the sporty look it has... i would recomend this car to any driver not looking for a family sized car or truck...

Strength:

This car is very sporty and comfortable for being a compact.
It has very good acceleration and great perforance for the money.
With a few prformance parts it really out runs other compacts
and other performance cars. I drove to laughland in one weekend
with no problem on big hills and was very responsive when passing.

Weakness:

It had a chronic oil leak and took 1 week to find the leak.
It is noisy when it starts in the morning. It could use a
better air conditioning. It wont cool when car is at idle
so you have to drive the car before it starts to cool.
Cup holders get in the way of the stereo. Only one color available
for the inerior. Discontinued car. Not a family car at all.

In a little over a year that i have had the car it has been great.
except for the chronic oil leak and poor air conditioning.
I put a Cat Back system and other performance parts and it
really can outrun Integras and even V-8's. It is a great 1st car
and a great daily driver since it is very fuel efficient. It has
enough room in the front seats and an easy to read dash. Though the backseat isn't very comfortable for adults over 5 feet tall.

Having owned this little gem for only 2 days, I am thoroughly impressed! Having had two Altimas and one Nissan Pickup, there is a definite familiarity. Just got back from a 480 mile round trip and still have about an eighth of a tank left! Has definite sporty appeal but not a killer on the pocketbook. Actually cut my insurance and loan payments switching from the pickup.

Weakness:

Nothing major to speak of, a lack of cupholders and cubby holes would be about it. Coffee cup, cell phone, and cd wallet exhaust most of the up front storage spots.

I have always trusted the Nissan products, and finding one with some price depreciation makes them a great deal. Without a lot of exterior badging on my 200SX many people do not realize that it's a 5 year old econosport type car. It has a refined and almost elegant look to it. Above all, it's not a Civic. There must be 15 or 20 cookie cutter compacts in the lot at work, and People acutally noticed my car and were talking about it the first day I brought it to work.

Similar Products Used:

Not as comfortable as the Altima/Accord/Camry group. Last couple of days spent road time in Mazda Protege(cheap plasticky cabin), Honda Civic(Under Equipped for higher price), Mitsubishi Mirage(could pass in traffic to save it's life), and the Neon(Actually tested two, one rattled so bad I was afraid to drive it back to the dealer, and the other one I broke two separate toggle buttons on the dash!)

Strength:

strong performance, reliable, good gas mileage

Weakness:

factory radio

I bought this car new, and have enjoyed it since day 1. It is a great combination of good performance, reliability, and all-around driving ease.

After 55,000 miles, maintenance has been minimal: replace tires (at 38,000 miles) with larger, lower profile Dunlops, muffler (of course), and the front struts will need replacement this year.

The factory radio is disappointing to say the least, and I replaced in after 6 months.

Anyone have more info on the new 2002 SE-R?

This car is GREAT! Spectacular engine (SR20DE)
Lots of power from stand still to redline
Acceleration (even in fifth gear)
Reliability
Fit and finish
Quality interior
Great HVAC system
Brakes

Weakness:

Windshield/windshield wipers
Stock stereo
Tilt steering (wheel doesn't raise high enough)
Torque steer

I cannot say enough about this car. I have driven American crap before and can say I will never buy American again. American cars are intentionally cheap resulting in poor quality.
This car is fun and I haven't even replaced the brakes yet and it's going on 6 years!
This car is as close to flawless as one can get. Never had a single problem with it. Definitley recommend to anyone and I will definitely buy Nissan again.
