Strength:
nice motor, smooth transmission, looks fairly decent, reasonably priced.
Weakness:
assembly quality, doors creak, wind noise, back window creaks, headlamp trim fell off, dated low rent interior. brakes feel like they have trouble stopping the car, suspension feels "loose"(tie-rod ends, ball joint''s seem to have issues) had to make several visits to the dealership for various rattles, creaks, etc. my dealer, stohlman mitsu in tysons corner,va. identified it every single time and was corrected. excellent service! the product is shabbily put together but it drives and rides nice. V6 PICKUP
Weakness:
EVERYTHING YOU COULD THINK OF. TO WHOMEVER READS THIS DO NOT TEMPT TO BUY THIS CAR. NEW OR USED! THE CAR IS A LEMON UNDER THAT PRETTY STYLING. FROM THE TIME I HAD THIS VEHICHLE, I EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL, BRAKE, ROTOR, AND WHEEL SHUTTERING PROBLEMS FOR 2 YEARS. MITS NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND CONSTANTLY KEPT MY CAR IN THE DEALER MORE THAN I HAD IT TO MYSELF. RESALE VALUE IS VERY POOR ALSO. AFTER 2 YEARS I TRADED IT IN AND GOT A 01 NIS MAX. EXCELLENT CAR. ALONG WITH THE MAX, I PURCHASED A 02 HYD SONATA. ANOTHER EXCELLENT CAR. BOTH BETTER THAN THAT PIECE OF CRAP MISTIBISHI. AND TO SAY THE HYUNDAI IS BETTER THAN ANY CAR, SHOULD REALLY MAKE YOU THINK! LEAVE MITS. ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT SUCKS. Similar Products Used: 93 CUTS OLDS |

Strength:
looks. engine. no problem from the engine. if mitsubishi could design rest of car as good as the engine it would be half way decent car.
Weakness:
every thing has sporty looks with spoiler sunroof and after market 16 in. chrome rims. other than that you could say the car is garbage. bought it feb 1999 with 24000 mi. at 52000 the transmition went out without any signs. have 92000 mi now and seems like every thing is falling apart. wood grain dash peeling up everywhere. screws falling out of sun visors. get the brakes redone every 15000 mi. and makes a wump, wump, wump, sound from the wheels when you go over 40 mph. cant seem to solve the problem. Galant LS
Strength:
Looks good. Something different than the Altimas, Camarys, Accords, and what ever else everybody and their brother drives.
Weakness:
Manual trans not available for LS models. Low trade-in value. Body style looks dated now. I think people in these columns are pretty harsh. Most cars I have looked up are getting horrible reviews. So I decided to look up my own car and see what was said about it. Once again, whining and complaining. The fact of the matter is every car sucks. Every car is going to break down and have problems. Yes, even your Ferrari is going to have to go in to the shop sometime. The only way cars will last is if you don''t drive them. But that is also a problem because things start drying up and freezing. I''ve had this ''95 LS for about three years and it''s been pretty good to me. I''ve fixed nothing major that I can think of. It''s got 108k so things are starting to go, but overall, it has held up pretty well. Make no mistake I DO NOT baby my cars. In fact, I beat the living sh*t out of them. I step on the gas every chance I get, down shift with the auto trans, brake hard, and throw it into corners (nieghbors love me!). The car isn''t what it used to be, but considering the way I treat it... it''s in damn good shape. And as far as this "Mitsubishi only puts out crap" lip service I''m reading, strap yourself into a twin-turbo 3000GT and punch it. I''m sure your collective mouths will stop their jammering immeadiately. Similar Products Used: Chrysler Conquest(had a lot of fun with this one), Dodge Daytona, Chrysler Laser, Plymouth Reliant. |

Paying $357.00/mo for a death trap. This car is a LEMON. It has defects with its braking components, ball joints, gas tanks and electrical systems. CONTACT A LEMON LAW ATTORNEY. Mitsubishi did not hide customer complaints for 20 years because they had great cars. Similar Products Used: None |

Late Mitsubishi Galant ES
Strength:
Fast accerleration, Good handling and cornering. Looks very luxery.Overall quick respone (even on ice and snow)
Weakness:
Ratio of the Automatic gear box is kind of slow, and the right hand side of windows is not that tight in someway I like the 1995 Mitsubishi Galant Model is because I like the shape of it very much and the tail light. I chnaged my wheels into Z Racing Alloy wheels. In addition, I changed the tires into Firestone Touring Supereme tire. Strength:
The car has a luxurious look, without too much of the luxurious price.
Weakness:
In less than two months, the car won''t start. It also has little space for backseat passengers DO NOT purchase a car from Charleston Mitsubishi unless you do a thorough investigation of their staff. The service SUCKS. In less than two months, my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant has trouble starting. I called the dealership to try to get some assistance from the salesman that I purchased the car from, and he wouldn''t return any of my calls. It just goes to show that once they make that sale, they want nothing else to do with you or your vehicle. Similar Products Used: Honda Accord, Chevy Malibu, Toyota Camry |

comfortable, smooth ride, roomy, stylish in/out,safety,came fully loaded
Weakness:
brakes, and rotors need to be replaced already, few recalls but they were taken care of,not enough ligthing, only lights are at the head at the Sunroof control, no under dash lights nor a glove box light either... this car is a great buy, esp the GTZ, nice looks, smooth ride, very comfortable to drive, it has good acceloration, good gas mileage and roomy inside... Price I paid was a good deal, i tried out other cars, the Accord V6 es coupe, the Toyota Solara, Mazda Millenia and I wasn''t too happy with how they drove.. plus the looks weren''t that great, the Millenium was decent though an'' the other 2 alot of people had so i got a car that had a style that stands out with a good price ad its different... also GTZ is rare Similar Products Used: Honda accord, toyota camry, Mazda Millenia |

GALANT ES
Strength:
power of the 4 cyl quiet engine outstanding handling
Weakness:
1. back seats lack room 2. need to reposition the cruise control from inside of steering wheel. 3. interior needs upgrading material (looks cheap) I have not had the car a week yet, however, I have been very impress with the power of the 4 cyl and its knack for the smooth ride. I was able to buy the 2002 Galant ES less than $400.00 under dealers invoice. Did I mention I did not pay dealers advertisment fee, just a lot of wheeling and dealing. one more thing got it 0 interest 0 down 0 payment till 2003. that what was most important to me and the way I was able to get a fair price on the vehicles. More people need to read and learn about buying a vehicle before going to a dealer and getting the sticker price as the total price. Get that dealer invoice and know what HOLDBACK (GALANT 2%)they receiving before adhering to their price. GOOD LUCK Similar Products Used: None |
