LS
Strength:
engine, nice body shape, like someone said earlier "the cheapest eye-turner" you can ever find.
Weakness:
Soft body, got dents all over the sides, another cup holder would be nice Bought 3 years ago second-handed and I''ve been loving it since !!! It drives like a sport car indeed even though it''s a 4 seater. The engine is the most potent 2.5 6-cylinder I''ve ever since. The STD version which comes with the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder is only mediocre unless you it''s manual transmission. The interior is kinda tight but hey it''s a sport car. Don''t want to be typical and drive a Honda Accord or Prelude ??? Get a Mazda MX-6 LS |

MX-6, 4-cylinder
Strength:
Timeless body sytle, inside and out. Spacious trunk. Bells & whistles are included on the base model (sunroof, pdl, pw, tilt, pm).
Weakness:
Just noticed over an inch of water in the spare tire well - where is the water leaking into the trunk? If you''ve experienced this EMAIL me & let me know how to fix. Sunroof motor weakens with age. Needs a little push now and then. HOT looking car. Extremely comfy interior for a sports car - of course, don''t expect much from the back seat. Very mechanically sound if kept up with routine maintenance. The 4-cylinder is a bit sluggish if you like to drive fast, but more than adequete as a city car. |

Strength:
Fabulous look Sporty, but enough room for back seat passengers Dependable Long Life Quality I look great in it. I love, absolutely love my car. I hate they stopped making it because I would buy another one! I have had my car for 10 years and it is just now having a leaky radiator. There is no other car I would want! Since they don''t make it anymore, I am considering a MX-5. |

Strength:
EVERYTHING, especially beating all those rice boys in their civics with big mufflers and tinted windows that THINK they are fast.
Weakness:
crappy stock rims This Car IS SOOO SWEET! Ive read a bunch of these reviews and they say they have a hard time finding parts/body kits? umm, try SPOILERS.COM theres a sweet ass ground effects kit for the MX-6 on there, THENEONEDGE.com is also a good place to get your car looking good. |

Strength:
1) In a sea of ubiquitous Camrys, Accords, Civics, Eclipses, this car stands out. 2) Good, reliable car (so far) 3) Smooth, long torque curve 4) Back seat is actually people-usuable 5) Deep trunk
Weakness:
1) The MX-6 is a great car, but doesn''t have enough recoginition or respect because it''s a Mazda. 2) The aftermarket is limited. 3) Kinda expensive. 4) Potential not exploited, e.g. the Japanese version MX-6 has 200 hp, while the American version was detuned to 160 hp. I have loved this car since day one when I bought it off the lot six years ago. The handling, the power, and the looks still gets double-takes from other drivers on the road. For the past five years, the car has been really fun to drive and has yet to give me any doubt that it''ll last another five. In a general response to some of the negatives in the other reviews, I''m am sorry to hear about the problems, but keep it mind that almost every car that approach middle-age should be expected to develop "problems" if not maintained properly. The only mechanical problem I have had in the past five years is a leaky radiator. (By the way, you will not find an MX-6 less than 4 years old; 1997 is the last year of production. So all MX-6''s are middle-aged now.) Anyway, it''s a great car! Similar Products Used: ''96 Nissan 240SX, ''96 Integra GSR |

Strength:
it has a great factory system in it. handles like a dream and stops on a dime.
Weakness:
although it is a light car i would love to convert it into rear wheel drive. the reception form the antenna sucks but the cd player compensates for it. excellent car, its my first car and i love it. its a real head turner. Similar Products Used: 95 eclipse~ the eclipse isn''t as quick as the mx-6 nor as stylish. but the reception is better. |

Weakness:
stock rims should look better, I''d love to get 30MPG and still keep my horsepower (164hp). I have the LS v6 model and it is a nice car. I''ve had no problems and the previous owner said he loved the car and had no major problems as well. I ordered an intake system to add 10 or so HP to the already good engine. Similar Products Used: corolla coupe, lexus is300 (if you can afford this this little gem then I highly recommend it as well. Get a used one. My girlfriend has one and it just flies off the line. It smokes my MX6.) |
