Strength:
Taught handling, excellent midrange acceleration and top speed. Fit and finish is tight inspite of being 6yrs old. Not many on the road.
Weakness:
CUPHOLDERS! Costly to maintain and repair. First let me tell you what happened to my car. I bought it used, $16500 Cdn. The tranny needed to be replaced at 100,000kms. My engine needed replacing because piston#6 melted, and even though my warranty had just expired, my dealer was able to get Mazda Canada to pay for 75% of the bill. They also replaced the S/Cer for free. Also, the 96000km service costed me $2000. In all, I probably spent $10000. You''re probably wondering why I gave it 4 stars. Despite my badluck, I still love the car. I probably just got stuck with a lemon. But now that everythings been replaced it''s like new, and I haven''t had any problems since. Millenia
Strength:
Handles well at any speed, smooth ride. Very luxurious. Very quiet. Sleek and sweet!!
Weakness:
The designer must have been hung over when he/she decided where the cup holders go.HINT: move them to a place where it is conveinent for the owners..the cubby hole lids need to be redesigned to keep the rattleing noise down. lights and steering wheel auto doesnt work so I would have to spend at LEAST 700.00 just to have it checked out..Parts tooooo expensive..The resale value really stinks considering what you pay for the car, then what you may have to spend to keep it up..Mazda buddied up with Ford..YIKES!! Would think twice about buying another Millenia if Ford is involved... I purchased this car used and the owner before did not know the word "regular upkeep". After investing $2.5K, the car runs like a dream. Awesome low profile look (the profile is mean)and I love it. The deep sea mica color is just beautiful, but has faded over time. Like I said, the previous owner had NO CLUE!! Unlike some of the other reviews, I have had zero problems with the transmission, or alignment, etc.The only thing that irks me (well 2 things)is my ABS light stays on all the time, even though the system is working fine. And my steering wheel (when on auto) does not move up or down, even though the motor for that is not burnt out.Hmmm...I would welcome any suggestions on what the problem may be, or how I can fix it without having to spend a small fortune at the dealer. Whew!! Mazda dealers sure make the big $$$ don''t they....Other than those 2 things, the car is just AWESOME..Happy Crusin''.. Similar Products Used: Lexus, Mercedes, Galant. |

Great interior, exterior, price, and gas mileage.
Weakness:
Horsepower I just purchased my millenia and so far have been completely satisfied with my decision. Being a college student, when i went car shopping the only thing in my range were accords, civics, camrys, or stripped down maximas. Luckily i found a great deal on a demo model millenia. The other cars i drove(previously listed) didnt even compare to the looks and luxury of the millenia. The interior set up is probably one of the best ive ever seen. This car is equipped with every possible feature. I must admit that having just traded in my SE maxima, the millenia''s horespower is a slight dissapointment, but if youre not a speed buff you''ll not find a better car in the under $30,000 price range. Interior, price, looks, and gas mileage.
Weakness:
Horsepower, and i must say it''s still pretty powerful. This is a great car, although after having a SE Maxima for a few years, i must admit that the lack of horsepower is disappointing. The millenia is the most feature packed car you could get for the price. My mother''s BMW (which cost $20,000 more) has less features. This car should be priced in the $35 to $40 thousand dollar range. The interior is by far the best laid out interior design i think ive ever seen. The exterior looks great as well. It''s the smoothest riding car i think i''ve ever driven. Similar Products Used: SE Maxima, Chevy Tahoe, BMW Z3 |

Excellent gas mileage;gets 25 MPG at 94,000 miles. Have not had to replace one bulb since having the car 3.5 years. Very quick and handles nice on the road. The paint is gold and takes the heat here in Vegas quite well.
Weakness:
The center visor wore out quickly and broke. This car is an excellent car if your willing to spend the money to keep it in tip top shape. I hav''nt had any major problems with this car as I have kept up proper maintenance checks. Similar Products Used: None |

Acceleration, style with a quiet. smooth ride.. Interior room is better than some Jags..
Weakness:
Some squeaking in right rear shock.. TSB issued and was covered under warranty Going on my fourth year with the Millenia S and it is by far the best vehicle I''ve ever owned..Great acceleration and noise dampening.. I produce Pat Goss''s radio and TV shows and he says it''s the most underrated luxury value out there.. It''s a shame they''re phasing them out after 2002.. Pat says they''re just not selling enough of them to continue production.. I''m hanging on to this baby as long as I can... Similar Products Used: Honda, Jaguar & Acura |

Millenia ''S''
Strength:
Loads of power, fast off the line, great highway cruiser. Gas milage is astounding when you set it at 70 mph and let it go! No problems with anything, I changed the transmission fluid when I bought it. I change the oil & filter every 3,000 miles. Add fuel injector cleaner every 4 tanks and make sure you have the Platimum II Plugs.
Weakness:
Would like it to corner a little better but as soon as I change the wheels and tires for some 17" and low profiles, stiffen the suspension, I know it will handle like it is on rails. Terrific car, I also test drove a BMW 325i and there was no comparison in the power and acceleration, the Millenia took it hands down. The ''S'' stands for Supercharged and it is a willing and responsive beauty. I just added gold pin stripes to my British Racing Green Paint and it really stands out in a crowd now. Quiet ride, super performance and handling. A great car all around. This is the second millenia I've owned. Before I had a 2.5, but went for the S this time. Acceleration is great.
Weakness:
CV boots had to be replaced on my old one. Kind of pricey.... This car is awesome. It rides and drives like a dream. I would highly reccommend it to anyone. Similar Products Used: Acura 3.2 TL |

Strength:
The car is a bargain for what I paid for ($22.5K). As a mechanical engineer, I inspected the fit and finish and I gave it a two thumbs up. The acceleration and handling are superb. Overall, a well-engineered car.
Weakness:
You can easily get a door thing since it didnt come with body molding. I wish I got a 6 CD changer with it....but I will address that soon. The car is a near luxury car so naturally the maintainence is on the "high" side. I had the car for a month now. As I reach my destination, I feel somewhat melancholic because I know that the pleasure associated in driving this car had reached its inevitable conclusion. I really love taking the car on a long drive. The car is willing and ready to entertain. I think this car is made to dance. I fell in love with this car when I first test drove it. Initially, I was going to buy a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE. As I reflect back on that decision, I concluded what a mistake it would have been.
