road noise,a/c problems

I paid 7,500.00 for the car.Its a great car, looks good with after market rims/tires.If you decide to buy one, make sure you get one with a sunroof, cause when your a/c goes out,and it will.the sunroof will help you beat the heat.

Strength:

The luxurous feel--Bose 100-watts w/6 speakers, Body spoiler and rear spoiler, Climate control, Heated Seats and mirrors, and leather seats with embeded Infiniti name on it....engine is very quiet only when on highway I hear wind whistles through the side mirror.

Weakness:

Out of everything that this has...a V6 or an increase of horsepower from 145 to around 170+ would be awesome. However the 145HP equip with a 5-speed manual transmission provides adequate power.

The MSRP for this was $25600, but I got it for $22500. This car is a real eye catcher--I am enjoying people stare at the car with driving on highway or city. Even at parking lot, people at least stare at the car twice!!!!. I love everything about his car, but need more horse!!. The dealer service is by far the best feel so welcome.

Test Drive 2000 Integra GS-R, this car has power but lack styling and luxurous feel.

With this price and the standard equipments (listed above), I don't know why people go for Camry or Accord (jumping on bandwagon?). I would recommend this car for anyone....visit a few car dealerships and then come to Infiniti dealership..you will understand "Own one and You will understand"

Strength:

Excelent handling, good ergonomics, clean styling, power galor, excelent factory stereo (Panasonic head unit, Active Speaker system consisits of 4 Clarion amps 4 5.25" mid cones and 2 1" dome tweeters. Has more power than comperable BMW 3-series of the same age. Good snow car. Engine is resposive and fun. Good dry grip. Big trunk, good front seat space (excelent front seats).

Weakness:

Smallish back seats (its great for kids). Engine noise is noticable. Needs a quicker manual shifter. Back seat exit is akward for taller people.

Stickered for 24,XXX leased it with 5000$ down 200$ a month for 36 months, bought at end of term and still drive it today with 88600 miles, runs like new. It has never had any mechanacal problems, I had the clutch adjusted at 88000 miles at the local Nissan dealership. It is easy to get serviced because it is a Nissan car. I will definatly buy one again, probably go for the G20T with a 5-speed. If your in the market for a nice compact sedan, new or used, this one is bar none the best.

It is a much nicer car than similar era Nissan Altimas which are comperable.

Strength:

The G20 is tight, no rattles or creaks. It rides great and is comfortable for my 6'1" frame. All the comforts still work and the car runs great. It has everything you could want in a small sedan.

Weakness:

NO CUPHOLDERS! Common, I'm American! Lack of low end torque and some idle problems when cold.

After doing my homework on the G20 and waiting for just the right one, I recommend it if you can find one that has been taken care of. I would go for the 5 spd next time to really have some fun.

Definately a better choice than similar sized domestics of this age.

Strength:

HANDLING...CARS IN THIS PRICE RANGE, OR ANY FOR THAT MATTER, WILL HAVE A HARD TIME COMPETING WITH THE G20.

Weakness:

THE ENGINE NOISE IS A LITTLE EXCESSIVE.

FINDING A CAR WITH ALL THE EQUIPMENT THAT COMES STANDARD ON THE G20 IS GOING TO BE HARD TO DO. THE INTEGRITY OF THE THE CAR COMPARES TO THAT OF THE Q45. AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP IS NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME. SOME OF YOU MIGHT BE AFRAID OF WHAT SOME THINK IS AN UNDERPOWERED 4 CYLINDER - BUT PUT IT WITH THE NEW 5 SPEED AND THE POWER ACROSS THE ENTIRE RANGE IS MORE THEN SUFFICIENT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VECHILE!!!

Strength:

I love this car for it's quality, comfort-considering that it's a small car. I' m easy over six feet and still feel great even on the back seat. The trunk is large, everyone in this car will feel comfortable. I just love the handling the car comes with adjustable suspension and a switch with power and comfort option. I have a feeling like the car will last forever. I bought it used with 73,000 miles on it in 2 months I did 6,000 miles, so far knock on wood 0 problems.

Weakness:

Like every review says the engine is slightly underpowered especially if you put 4 grown adults in the car and start using A/C. Then you can forget about pasing or switching lanes (5 speed would be a great deal).

Definitely I highly recommend this car.

Strength:

-Quick
-comfortable
-excellent steering

Weakness:

-I had to pay for a clutch adjustment and I've only had the car for 4 months, but it is a 92.
-anti-lock brakes kick in too easy when it is dry, but great when it is wet.

Quick little bastard. Kept up with a Firebird TransAM in a quarter mile. The TA has a V8 G20 is a 4. Good price for what you get. If you want a quick car without paying big bucks this car is for you.

Strength:

Exceptional handling especially in tight corners, excellent brakes, smooth shifting (5-speed), sporty styling, very comfortable for a compact sport sedan, excellent value, great safety features including side air bags, and great dealer service.

Weakness:

The G20t would be much better if the engineers at Nissan could increase the horse power to 160 or 170, and dress it with 16-inch alloy wheels.

Highly recommended. This car is great for the money considering the Civic could cost as much as $17K nowaday. It's amazing that the 2000 G20t is a much better car than its predecessor and cost almost $3K less!!!

I can't say enough about its new body style, much more aggressive and competent comparing to its predecessor. This car is definitely designed for you young affluent professionals out there, who likes to drive your car hard. This car is very capable and just as fun to drive around town as it is around the twisty Highway 1. I love the slogan "Born in Japan, educated in Europe"...

Strength:

Handles great, comfortable interior, good pickup in manual transmission, classy design, lots of safety features, Infiniti brand is very good; good services package

Weakness:

Requires key with embedded computer chip - only 2 provided from manufacturer
Glove box and driver-accessible storage areas are too small

I bought this car in December and love it. The other reviews here reflect experiences with older models. The 2000 has a great design and (so far) runs great. I have a 5-speed manual transmission model; the automatic, which I also test drove, is more underpowered. Infiniti does a great job!
