I HAVE HAD IT IN THE SHOP FOR 50 DAYS TOTAL. FILING FOR LEMON LAW. EVERYONE WHO I'VE TALKED TO HATES THIER TIBURONS. THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS (WIPERS, TIRES, RIMS, LEAKING, ECM, BATTERY). IT'S ONLY 15 MOS. OLD! I HATE IT DON'T BUY ONE! LEMON!

I payed $15,000 for mine and I don't have any complaints other than it doesn't have the get up and go I desire. I would like to get my hands on some performance parts for it. It is a good car for a young person. It's small and easy to manuvre. It lacks 2 cylinders that would make a respectable sports car. Other than that it's aight.

Excellent acceleration, Top speed 200mph, Awesome sport paintjob (came stock Lazer Red Body with dodge viper style white racing stripes over the top) Very few people got a hold of the new sport edition there are only three in dallas. Excellent room body styiling is new and innovative. A few minor 5 minute altercations to the exhaust (legal of coarse) it sounds like a ferrari 350 gt. A real head turner handels as good as a corvette and of the line no new mustang acn stand up (with a few minor upgrades maybe totaling $200) overal I was looking for something fast but beautifull I ended up with something undone before beuty wise. stands out more than any Civic Cellica or mustang. And man with that manual it comes with more than enough horsses to crack your head back

The only weakness i have seenis with the gas cap its too flimsy and it breaks very easlily

Well I was the first person in my town to own the Brand New sport Edition Which comes with differant color scheemes. They all have the dodge viper style racing stripes Now I have only seen two diferant sports and the two are Mine which is Lazer Red with white stripes over the top then the Light pastell tiburon yellow with Black stripes. There maybee differant ones nd if anyone knows anymore please respond to me about them. It is gorgeous and no one who knows anything about beautiful cars will ever not turn there head to watch it drive by. I have made a little altercation to the stock exhaust I strapped on a Monza Exhaust Tip and seperated the Catalytic converter half and inch And man that thing souds like nothing I have ever heard before. Try Driving through a highschool when it gets out and not have every chick in the place trying to get a ride. Its deffinantley a confidence booster. And as soon as you ad a few engine upgrades you have a car that can stand up to anything and look Damn Good Doing it. For a very noticible drop in price its a no brainer the Tiburon Is one of the best car buys I have ever come across it gave me all I wanted in a driving expeireince

Mitsubishi spyder will more than likeley smoke it of the line but in the long run tiburon will be the one in front. Plus girls think its far sexier thqan the eclipse. Celica I have smoked every celica I have raced and man that thing looks weired no comparison by any means there. Intgera R type yah its fatser untill you get that turbo charger. But as Looks go Integras Cheap Tiburon is sheik. Now as far as american cars go you have the mustang GT beat either way the Cobra Its gonna smoke you and stock comes better but thats $45,000. Camaro z28 will smoke you sensless off the loine but the tiburon will top it out. And as far as beauty goes camaro is more the fat ugly bully on the block. Yah it will give you a god ass wopen but Its ugly as dirt.

Paid around $21500cdn for my Silver SE. Not too bad when you consider americans are paying upto around $17500 USD for similar (can't get ABS in canada, though, but you do get power everything else (except seats) and a spoiler that looks a heck of a lot better). Had to adjust the drivers seat quite a bit my head wasn't up against the roof, but i'm fitting in there just fine now.

I haven't had any problems with the car so far that weren't my fault (put the stupid gas cap on lopsided once, and the check engine light came on. service call was paid for by warranty, though, so its all good). No dials have come off, engine hasn't fallen out, sounds like most of the problems people are having in here are because they're just being stupid with their cars. I've been pushing my car really hard lately (just saw Gone in 60 Seconds last week, so it gave me some ideas), and other than my gas mileage going downhill by riding it so hard, the car has been absolutely great.

Oh, shifting between 1st and 2nd, and 2nd and 1st can be a bit sticky sometimes, but it seems to be loosening up the more i drive it. I've missed a few shifts, but again, that's driver error, wanting to punch the gas before i've bothered getting the gear fully in there.

Only thing that would keep me from getting another one are the complete and total scumbag dealers (i dislike car dealers in general, but the Hyundai dealers i dealt with here were pretty bad all around). Unless maybe they offer a turbo model, or do something totally crazy to it. Otherwise, this'll be my last Hyundai (but i still love it)

i paid only 7K for a 1997 model with 45K miles on it. the car drives absolutely great. its the greatest thing that happened to me...and i plan to use the car till it goes to dust...which i dont think it will ever.
it is absolutely the best car. very good pickup(though for racing, you could use some extra zip), good mileage, excellent handling, no routine maintenance problems,terrific looker....several times i have been stopped and asked what car it is(since except for the Hyundai H logo, my car has no other identification mark on it).
interior is by far the best of all cars. none compare.
