Strength:

AC
looks (its a real cute car)
value for money
comfortable seats
perfect size not to big not to small

Weakness:

tires (not good on wet roads)
dents kind of easily

The car runs incredibly good for the price that we paid for it. Considering I just graduated high school and got a brand new car I'm loving every inch of it. The air works great, the factory installed radio sounds really good, its my dream car. The car is not to big, but what do I need a big car for its just me, and if people want to ride in my car then its big enough to fit them comfortably. All I can say is that I love my car. The price was not bad, and the warranty is great. Rating 5

Weakness:

VERY VERY UNRELIABLE. I had 5 major breakdown so far (Transmission, Water pump, Alternator, and two switches) and it still do not work right. STAY AWAY, save your money for a toyota, Nissan or whatever else.

young looking vehicle, decent interior for a small car. Handle the road and turns fairly well. Good gas mileage. easy engine layout to work on. RELIABILITY IS TERRIBLE.

Strength:

Good cuts, smooth in running

Weakness:

Once it was was very teriffic to me when once i started my wipper's first time , One of the wipper started and stopped by hitting my front right back mirror. I can't imagine such type of poor quality testing at Hyundai.

After being 1500 cc ,it gets exausted while running A/C. Drastic jurk takes place while switching on the A/C. Very high fuel consumption. Although the look is very good but lack of accesories as compared to Prize.

Right now it is only 7 month older to me, so can't say betond that but definitely can say more after 1 yr.

Strength:

It's...
* affordable
* stylish
* compact
* economical
* lightweight
* comfortable
* roomy
* easy to keep up/clean

* The air works well (great for hot/humid areas)
* The speed picks up well (because it is so lightweight)
* It handles the road well
* The trunk space is great
* Seat adjustments are cool
* smooth ride
* Perfect car for grads/students

Weakness:

* The tires are really small
* It sits too low to the ground. This may not be a probem, but if you live in areas that flood (like I do), it could make you worry. It can also scrap the ground if you come off an unleveled driveway, curb, etc. the wrong way
* Gas mileage is good, but it can guzzle quite a few gallons
* Wipers don't move fast enough sometimes
* Can be noisy at times (overdrive)

I picked this car out as a graduation gift for myself. It was economical and compact. It has been very dependable so far. The only thing that is a problem is that you can't find a car in your price range when you want one, but after you buy the Accent, EVERY car goes on sale! Including this one! It makes you wonder if you paid too much for it or if it is really the car you wanted. But once you have it for a while and recognize it's potential, you will love it. Just add your own special touches and it can be a great car for you, until you can afford another or are ready for something bigger, etc.

Strength:

The new look is much better than previous years.

Weakness:

Brakes, gear shifter, clutch assembly, lack of aftermarket parts available, it's a Hyundai.

At first most people are pretty impressed with the car, but that's because they don't know anything about cars. Let me tell you the ONLY reason I bought this car. It was new with a great warranty. If I would have known the trouble I would be going through, I would have saved up a little more, and got a Honda Accord. The only reason my car runs good now, is the performance products I have installed, such as high flow intake and exhaust. I plan to build a Honda B16a for this car, because my stock engine is slow, and unreliable.

Strength:

Very good on gas, fun to drive with the 5-speed, locking fuel tank door, cheap to replace tires when they go bad, easy to work on.

Weakness:

When its cold, shifting into 2nd makes a noise. The hatch area is very open, no carpeting on sides. Just a flat cardboard panel in the hatch area to cover the spare. Sheet metal very thin, dents very easy.

I have been driving this car for a year now and I love it. My wife bought it in 1999 brand new and it still looks it. It's a very simple but practicle little car. With it being a 5-speed, it's got some pep to it. By pep I mean it won't take a camaro or mustang, It's just got some punch in 1st and 2nd gear then the power fades fast. I change the oil and filter every 2 thousand miles. So far no oil leaks of any kind found on top or bottom of engine. These are great little cars, cheap on gas and insurance. It just depends on how you take care of them. I have read other reviews about people complaining, but It almost sounds like they just don't take care of their cars.

Strength:

Very inexpensive; lots of standard features (including automatic, sunroof)
Excellent fuel economy
Very reliable

Weakness:

A little underpowered, but excellent car in the city. Not the best vehicle for long trips.

To sum it up...a great economy car. I've had it for almost six years, and have over 140,000 kilometres on it. It has been very reliable, and very cost efficient. I plan to keep on driving it as my main commuter vehicle. It's very good on gas, and is fun to drive. In addition, it is quite roomy inside. In fact, with the backseats folded down, I can fit my entire drum kit inside!!!

In short, if you are looking for reliable, city transportation that won't break your bank account, check out the Accent. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Strength:

the best qualities of this car are: the 10 year warranty,the car has a little speed to it,and doesn't much gas,also the insurance is real cheap.

Weakness:

worst qualities: it dents too easy..i have two dinks on it from probably another driver parked next to me. not enough horsepower.

This is my first car ever to buy..I test drove it for the first time and fell in love with it. The following week i bought it..This little car is enough for me to handle.It really does not take too much gas and it takes me to work and wherever i need to go. I rate this car 3 stars.Also they gave me a 6-disc c.d. player for $7.00 extra a month

i don't really how it compares other cars,because i never had a car before.it's my first time.
