Strength:

style, good gas mileage

My Prelude was not in very good shape but thats from the previos owner. It had an oil leak in the engine. It was still fast and had really good pick up. For an 89 with 160, 000 miles it wasn't bad.

EVERYTHING!!!

I have had this prelude for about 6 months now and it is the biggest peice of crap that i have ever owned. It brakes down left and right. It can not stay fixed. If i were you and thinking about buying one, stick to a civic or something.

Best looking car made Most potential of any car very very sound engine

Weakness:

Smallest back seet I have ever seen

This is my favorite car I have ever owned! My 1992 prelude is my second pelude to own. I lost the first one in an accident. There will be a prelude in my garage for ever. My first car was a 1981 turbo-charged Datsun 280zx. It was alot of fun but doesn't compare to my prelude. My second car was a Ford F-150. Never again will I own a domestic! I sold the truck for my first Honda, a 1992 pelude. I loved it!! After I totaled it, I decided to go with a cheaper honda, a 1990 CRX. It was fun, but too much like a go cart. I gave it to my sister the day I was able to aford my next Prelude. I some day will upgrade to the new style, an SH of course.

nothing they are great ppl complain about head room i would tell them to realize that it is a sports car and if they want head room buy a SUV

The honda prelude has been great to me. I added on a couple mods, it moved before but now the car flies. I take mustangs all the time. The ladies love it and all the guys want to drive it. I will always have one they are to good to let go plus there are tons of mods.

Strength:

Excellent Engine Unique styling Fun to drive Adequet interior Tons of aftermarket mods Chicks love it NOT a civic integra or accord

Weakness:

really expensive expensive aftermarket parts too not alotta space but its a coupe what do you expect?

I've had my Prelude for almost 2 years now and I just love it. I love hitting the high rpms and smoking people left and right. Its a well made car with alotta style. Haven't had a single mechanical problem yet. Its a shame that Honda stopped making them. Anyone that says a Civic, Accord or Integra is better than a Prelude hasn't driven one. I saved my pennies from my mall job to buy this car and I must say it was worth every penny. I put alotta aftermarket parts on it as well, including 18 inch wheels and it just looks even better. Anyone who trashes this car with ugly body kits and ridiculous stickers should be put in jail. Thats it!

Power gas milage looks awesome there is a SLEW of mods girls dig Hondas can easily look like something out of Fast and the Furious

Weakness:

If you want head room and passenger space buy a Suburban, quit complaining it is a sports car.

Ok I just got my white Prelude yesterday. The guy I bought it off of has AEM cold air intake, headers, and an exhaust system. I has been dropped and despite no after market rims, the Preludes rims look AWESOME esp. for stock ones. The gearbox has short, crisp throws. I have a Nissan 300ZX and the transmission is nowhere in comparison to the Honda Prelude. Though not rear wheel drive I can't complain. Sure, when it was stock, I am sure that a Mustang GT could outrun it on a straight track. The Prelude would DESTROY it on a road race. The ability to hit a turn at 60 mph and not loose one bit of traction is remarkable. And you have to admit Honda was smart when they invented VTEC. That technology makes this car a 4 banger on steroids. It FLIES when the VEC kicks in at higher RPM's. Forget buying domestic (they break) Honda has a quick car, that has excelent gas mileage, and admit it these things last for a long time. I am 18 now and I know that this car will last me the next 15 years, easy esp. with only 35,000 on it now. BUY THIS CAR!
