Strength:

- Quick of the line
- Very Small turning radius
- Amazing Handeling
- Fast little Rocket
- 37+ MPG
- Smooth Ride
- Everything about it is a strenght!

Weakness:

Aftermarket parts seem to be alittle more difficut to find for it. You have to push down on the hood and then pull it up to open the hood.

I have had my CRX for a little while now and I can honestly say that this is the best car that I have ever owned. I saw a 1991 CRXsi beat a 1969 Plymouth GTX with a 454 engine in a street race. I havent had one problem with my car other than the interior for it seems to collect hair and little specs of crap that people bring into the car when they enter. This car has so much potential. There are not to many bodykits for it that are made out of Urathane, actually i dont think that there are any at all. People in the aftermarket industry dont seem to respect it that much, and i cant seem to figure out why. My car is a little rocket (please no Rice Rocket jokes), and i know that stock it can take on most of the newer cars like all of the GTS' and all of the GSRs that our out there. I raced one of my friends who owns a 2001 Volkswagen Golf GTI GLX VR6, which is a totally top of the line stock model for it, it has all of the options avalible and leather heated seats etc... He said that he could beat me in a race down this country road. Well after about 600ft he gave up, and keep in mind that my CRX is an automatic and his car was a stardard. There is no car that i could honestly say could matchthe quality that this car displays.

Strength:

This little thing is quick off the line, handles the high rev.s and puts out a surprising amount of power for such a little car. I have 110,000 or so miles on an imaculate crx. I get bout 30 miles to the gallon even though I race around. Awesome controll in cornering and overall a very fun car to drive. I would own a fleet of them if I could. This little car has renewed my faith in automotive craftsmanship and has made me a serious Honda fan.

Weakness:

No cruise control, No cup holder, No place to put a cup holder or console, The heater doesnt have a low area only setting so heat tends to blow in your face a bit when you need your feet warmed. Drive belts are buried. Other than that, the only weakness that affects me is that I cant share the ride with more than one person at a time. :)

I guess all in all, the CRX has impressed me and Ive enjoyed the car way more than I thought I would when I bought it. Its interior dynamics is wonderful for the stereo system I have. Doesnt take much volume and there are no rattles or vibrations. Cornering is excellent. Ive rounded 35 mile an hour turns at 60mph with ease, not breaking traction in the slightest. (keep in mind that was with brand new tires... Eagle Talon). Parts are relatively inexpensive and very common. You can find them anywhere practically. The car is just plain fun and Im sure that I will own several more after this one has gone.

Compared to a 1984 Mazda GLC with the same motor size, the CRX has much more power and handles ALOT better. Crx has a lower center of gravity for less sway. Quality of interior and functioning components inside is much , much better. Engine durability is also much higher rated in my opinion. Although the mazda is still going strong with about the same amount of miles, the engine is making some noises, and the chassis is squeeky and clunky.

Strength:

Good gas mileage, plenty of room in the back for subs, quick, and easy to maintain

Weakness:

cant find performance parts (ex. spoilers, ground fx, engine parts suck too.)

over all the honda is a nice little economic car and gets from point a to point be in a hurry if i want it to, but for lack of after market performance parts i have to give it a lower rating

Excelerates Fast, Fast Car, Tons Of modds available, very fast/sleek looking, Women Love this car, Very light, really good on gas.

Weakness:

parts are fairly expensive, rear hatch tends to leak with age, withought strut tower bars the car tends to twist in the corners a little too much,

I bought this car about 6 months ago and i love it.
Excelent on gas, the car has over 200K on it and drives like its brand new.
i know with care it will last for a long time.
After owning the car for 4 months the timing belt broke but after 200K it was past due, luckily no valves or anything were broken wich was amazing.

I love this car and will not sell it for the world.

My little Honda is great. Roomy and full of comfort it definately sticks in the run-in when it comes to todays sporty imports. It is loaded with power and the punch you need when the time comes. Great on gas and the control is unbelievable. One thing that impressed me was it's breaking system. Available for so many upgrades and personal tweaks, it's great for those enthusiast that want to press the pedal just a little bit further. If you want a piece of rice that burns out the rest of the competition even at 200,000 miles get one. There are no exceptions to this car.

Weakness:

Visibility is a problem with the rear window and some road noise but besides that there aren't any faults to it.

WIth 200,000 miles I would sure say it has a possible 50-60K miles left in it. After rebuilt or engine replacement the clock starts again. I wouldn't trade my car for anything. Everything about it is truely awesome. The body style and performance not mentionsioning the gas mileage give it that care-free feel you always want in a car. Also seeing those people drool, wishing they could get the same thing. These cars are getting rare, if you get one hold on to it.

Strength:

Affordable, reliable, and overall very fun and sporty car to drive. Excellent road feel and handling with a wonder 5spd manual and decently powerful 1.6L SOHC that will 0-60 in 8.5~. High quality parts and engineering first rate for a car in this price range. Big aftermarket for upgrading to turn these cars into real road rockets. Best bang for the buck for 88-91 sporty import.

Weakness:

Very stiff suspension (lots of squeeks and creeks). None came optioned with power windows, door locks, leather seats, etc. Wouldn't want to get in an accident with mine either. Could use a little more power.

Definately recommend this car as long as it has been well taken care of. Due to the age and wear of some of these vechiles make sure that it is in excellent condition before buying to avoid any future headaches. If you put money into maintaining this car it will last forever.

Handles, brakes, my god does this car brake. I find myself going through holes in traffic I would never think of doing in any other car i've owned, simply because I know that if i'm not following a Porsche 911 or an M5, there isn't anything I can't outbrake. Dead reliable, not much torque steer, and torquier motor than I remembered tight ride, but if you like to feel input from the car like I do, that's a plus. Despite the huge aftermarket, I haven't made any suspension modifications yet, but only because I can't reach the cars limits on a daily basis as is.I'm sure I will, though. Lots of head and leg room. Granted, i'm 5'7" but my 6'4" friend has no problems in my car either.

Weakness:

Underpowered, but not by much. Rust, but if you look around, you can find a fairly clean one like I did, to minimize your repair costs. Pay more for a better car and feel good about it.

3500 bucks. Are you kidding me? Bang for the buck doesn't do this car justice. Bang period is more like it. Runs with a miata out of the box, totally reliable, more usable space than anyone ever thinks. the first thing you think about when you get in this car is "wow, it's bigger in here than I tought." If you got no kids and don't have a 911 because you can't afford the upkeep, this is your car. Believe it.

Strength:

Acceleration, Gas Mileage(32-34mpg), reliability(97,000 miles and runs like new), Cargo space(more than my parent's Mitsubishi Pickup!), ride quality(better than many subcompacts)

Weakness:

Still could use a little more power, but you can put a newer 130hp or 160hp Honda engine in if you know how to or have a shop to do it.

I paid $5500 and have loved this car since I got it. I would recommend it to students or people without kids, or as a sporty second car you can tweak to make a performance machine out of. It already goes fast, so it doesn't take much to make it really perform. Great aftermarket support also. The inside is comfortable, and from seeing the outside you would never assume that there was that much room in there. You can fit just about anything in the back that you could fit in a small pickup truck like a Chevy S-10 or Ford Ranger. I drove this car from Louisiana all the way to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and loved every minute of driving through there. You can't take a corner too fast in this car, and the engine loves to be revved. I just can't explain all the great qualities of this car. It just looks, rides, and drives sporty, and has plenty of utility to go with it. Take your time to find one in good shape though, you'll find it is worth it.
