Strength:

Honda has a special way with VETC engines. Fit and finish was excellent.

Weakness:

Warpage of the front rotors on both the 1998 and the 2002 both at about 9,000 miles. Road noise excessive on both vehicles. Bad seats!!!!!

This was my third Honda in 9 years. 1994, 1998 and this 2002 all have been good cars. However, the 2002 has terrible seats. Just returned from a 2000 mile trip, could hardly walk when exiting the vehicle after 2 to 3 hours of driving. Did not have this problem with the 1994 or the 1998. Traded car within three weeks after trip. Other vehicles out there with much better seats. I know everyone will think I crazy, but I now own a 2003 Ford Taurus SES and love it.

To a MR. john in calgary john you claimed this: Reviewed by: Jordan , from Calgary Model/Year: 2000 V6 Price Paid: $0 Summary: One of the first things done was smoking a 300hp STS...and thats with a stock accord....after putting on a simple AEM Cold Air Intake I love leaving mustang's behind...this car is da shiz well, let me ask you this, i hope it wasn't a 2000 cadillac seville STS, because if i was thats sad. who would race a stinky cadillac, common it was probably an old man driving that car or the person was sleeping at the light and didn't notice. Also i like to see your quarter mile converse to the cadiallac with its v8. I own a 99 accord and YES i know stuff, i have COld air intake, i made myself with PVC pipe, then advanced timing with NGK laser platnium plug, kumo supra 712's on my accord. still working on other parts. so i would like to see you prove what you have said... i'm not trying to bash on you but rather find the truth....' thanks

Strength:

V-6 pick up, Honda quality. Great value - everyone I talked to wish they could afford this car

Weakness:

The dealership. They haven't been forthcoming on some issues but it doesn't take away from the car. I will not buy from them again. I am giving them one more chance to make things right.

I've had the car for two weeks and I make up reasons to drive it. I traded in a 93 Camaro Z28 so you can imagine the difference I feel. Love the smell of leather - great sound system. Love the keyless entry built into the key. Dimout light are great too.

Strength:

This car has it all.

Weakness:

I wish I waited for the 6 speed to come out.

I would put this car up against any in its class. The Altima, Camry, Alero, and Mazda 6 have nothing on it. It handles great and has incredible pick-up. I have test driven all competitors and concluded that: the Altima 3.5 looks cheap inside and doesn't handle all that well...the Alero has no acceleration and is very boring...the Camry is nice but not as nice as the Honda...finally the 6, it is nice but has less acceleration, less power, and a low resale value...not to mention the Accord Coupe looks better.

Strength:

Gas milage. Good high speed car. Good ride, Good engine,

Weakness:

Power windows, weak A/C, rough transmission, weak stereo.

Bought the car used from a Honda dealer in Northern VA at 38,000 miles. I lucked out and decided on getting an extended warranty till 86,000 miles. During that time at around 50,000 miles I had the a/c repaired. Covered under ext.warranty. @ 55,00 miles the ABS failed covered under ext. warranty but still paid for some part that was not covered $700. @ 56,000 miles the upper control arm was replaced under warranty. @ 66,000 miles the a/c started to act up and would not cool repaired under warranty. The driver side window is slow and will stop working when its cold outside. It now has 96,000 miles and I finally got rid of the car. This car has been quite reliable. Great at high speed and great gas milage. But it also has its weakness on some areas. The transmission is not as smooth and the engine will seem loud once in a while. The paint is not as durable as other makes. The leather is cheap and hard. I maintained the car pretty religiously and gave it oil changes @ 3,500. miles. Tune ups every 8,000 miles. Lots of air filter changes etc. etc. Thats probably why it was a good car. But not as good as the 90 Accord ex I had. Think the quality has gone down. This will be my last honda after having 4 of them. They are not as reliable as people think. They have more problems than people think are very expensive to repair. Brake jobs can go up to $400.-500 bucks. Timing belt $600. Tune ups $500. Take em to independent shops and you will save a lot.

Strength:

Outstanding tight handling like a sportscar.Extremely Quiet,Great Heat and Airconditioning,Terrific Radio. When you drive one hour and get home, you don't want to get out of the car!

Weakness:

I find this car smaller and tighter inside then my past 9 Honda Accords.I find the seat being extremely firm and supportive but it is just lower in height then my other Accords.

I recently leased my tenth Honda Accord. I decided to lease a 2003 Honda Accord V6 with leather. All my past Honda Accords were four cylinders which I felt very comfortable with.I would like to tell you that I can not believe how outstanding this 2003 vehicle is.First it handles like a sports car.It is very tight on the road.It is extremely quiet compared to all my past Honda Accords. When I put my Diana Kroll CD listening to her playing the piano, you think your flying not driving. The radio is great!I went to six dealers to get the best price. They do not take one dollar off the lease payment.I gave in and leased it anyway. If I had the money I would buy another and keep it locked up,because it is that good.

I have compared this 2003 Honda Accord V6 to my wife's 2002 I35 Infinity. The Infinity is much bigger then the Honda inside and does not grip the road like the Honda.

Strength:

Engine - More than enough power, I can out accelerate any V6 on the road. The Vtec is fun, hit 3500 rpm and you feel it kick in like a turbo all the way to 6000rpm. Outside - Looks great. Strong paint. Inside - No complaints. Everything i need is in reach, and I actually fit into the car (I’m 6'2", long legs keep me from driving most cars)

Weakness:

63000 miles and none yet.

This has been the best car I have owned. Hondas have been known as the most popular cars that lasts well beyond 100k miles. Well this is true. Forget its big brother Acura's and save your money and get an accord! I can drive it hard, and as a daily driver, and know it will last forever. There engines can take revs well into redline, yet as a daily driver, no one comes near 4000 rpm. This makes the engines last forever. I consider my self a car buff, and did a lot of studying before buying a newer V6 Honda. Value - Highest on the road, I can sell it tomorrow and get back what I paid. I also follow the maintenance, my 60k mile maintenance was $450, and under that everything was replaced! Never have to touch a thing but oil for 30k more miles. I always wanted a Honda, now I will always own one.

Strength:

now i love the 02's body style alot more than the 03's. the engine bay looks great and i lvoe the interior. leather is soft and easy 2 maintain. the stereo is ok i guess.

Weakness:

The engine is great at higher rpm's but the low end torque could use alot of work. but dont get me wrong...a i4 will never compare to it =). one major complaint...the tranny...it just plain sucks. the upshifts and downshifts....sometimes coming real harsh. and i've heard many stories of trannys going out after just 50000 miles. and the way my tranny feels i think my car will be joining the club. the paint job on hondas dont last very long and arent the most scratch resistent. but hey i do love this car. and i believe it was worth every penny =)

Well first here's my little story. I'm going to my local honda dealership in houston tx to put a down payment on a new 2003 ex v6 coupe. but the salesperson informed me it would be well above 30000! (which of course was a lie). so he takes me around to see teh 2002 coupe, i really liked the new body style of the 03's but the 02 still caught my attention. so i wanted a nighthawk black color but we couldnt find one. so finally he drives us 2 the back of the dealership and there was a 02 coupe ex v6 still all wrapped up in its shipping stuff. i jumped in and it only had 0.0 miles on it! i wondered why but didnt ask. well i've had this car for 7 months now and i'm loving it. well it turns out the next day after i bought the car my sales person was fired...why u ask.....cuz he wasnt supposed 2 sell me that car. that car was to be used in some honda museum. thats why it odidnt have a single mile on it. heh o well but i'm loving this car.

Strength:

I love the interior. I love the acceleration. Like the styling.... I am gettin used to the rear...I had to get used to the 92 Prelude's rear lights.

Weakness:

The tires. I already hit a pothole and had a flat tire in Philadelphia. I also find it odd that there is no place for fog lights. I asked about the cost at Honda, almost $650.00.

I bought the car without even driving it. That is how much I trust Honda products. I have a 1992 Honda Prelude with 220, 000 miles and decided not to trade it in.
