Model Reviewed: Honda Accord

Strength:

Reliable car, parts less expensive, if kept well lasts forever.

Weakness:

Too common (everybody has one), 2nd most popular stolen vehicle, not roomy enough.

I miss my baby!!! I previously owned a used 1996 Accord LX for 8 months until it got stolen!!! Yes, the Honda Accord is the 2nd top stolen vehicle (and I live in a good neighborhood). But it was ok while it lasted except for some "small" problems. My SRS light suddenly went on and the trans feels like its slipping. Not to include the power windows go up/down extremely slow and power steering fluid keeps leaking. But let me say it WAS A USED CAR.

Strength:

luxurious looks, reliability, quiet engine, roomy, smooth riding, great gas mileage, and a head turner!

Weakness:

i hate creaks that come from the rear, but all cars eventually get them overtime

the only thing i can say is that i love this car!! Its not the fastest or the fanciest but it sure is great. Even after 3 years i still love my car. Its not perfect but there is no such thing as a perfect car. Everytime I see another car like mine I cant help it but just look at and say damn it looks good! I like this car so much I think Im going to buy another 2001. This is the only purchase that i have done where I not for a second ask myself if i made the right choice. This sure

see notes-Interior, pinging engine

This was the worst new vehicle that I have ever purchased. Within 1 month the r/s rear developed a rattle that I could not find. I dismantled the entire rr trim and I could not find the source of the rattle.I also discovered that some of the rr trim pnl had broken retaining clips. The l/s frt also had a creeking sound at the l/s windshield area. The radio always had static and the motor pings when the a/c was on and accelerating. The r/s passenger seat only slides forward and back. The rear seat is cramped. The navigation system takes awhile to clear when the vehicle is started. The sound system is not that great. The rear seat is one inch thick-padding is of poor quality. Overall, the quality of this vehicle is horrible. I cannot believe that Honda allowed this vehicle to be released to a dealer. I am turned off to any automobile produced w/ the Honda nameplate.

This is a great car. I would highly recommend an accord or any honda product. Bought with 14,500 miles. Over 30,000 miles and not a problem. It has great power and gets great gas mileage. Comfortably fits four adults as well. Only Honda or Acura products will be in my garage.

Strength:

Dependable. 4cyl V-something-or-other engine is excellent. Handles more like a little sport sedan. My 9 yr old son likes for me to "hot rod it".

Weakness:

Back seat passenger room could be better, much better. Other than that, no weaknesses. Well, it is a little noisy on the road, but not so much I wouldn't drive another one.

Great little car. I don't ask for much. Just a comfortable, low maintenance car that dependable. The Accord has been excellent. Bought it used with 50000 miles. Had it two years and it's never let me down. Always starts and runs great. So impressed, bought a Honda lawn mower this summer.

An outstanding auto. I have owned 13 Accords and currently have 2001 and 1998 models. Have put over a million miles on the collective purchases the most 147,000 on one. Never a breakdown. You can spend twice as much and not have as much car.

Weakness:

I love my Accord. I've had it for almost 3 years, it has 33K miles. It's reliable, quiet, powerful (V6), and it's a Honda. When I shopped for a new car, it was a toss up between the Jetta and the Accord. I ultimately chose the Accord because of Honda's fine reputation for reliability. I haven't regretted it for a moment and would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Strength:

Everything.

Weakness:

Terrible stereo, but newer cars probably have better ones.

I have owned this car since 1994 and never had any serious problems with it. This is a fantastic car for anyone, whether you have a family or if you're using it for a first car. The only problems with it now is the stereo, it has awful sound quality and the radio doesn't always work right. Being a hi-fi audio fan, I can't wait to replace it with a hi-performance system. Also, the driver's power window rolls down very slow, and sometimes gets stuck about halfway down. I'd say that it's in excellent working condition, especially for an 11-year-old car.

My grand-mother's Honda. It's exactly the same car, even the iterior and exterior colors. It works just as well as mine!
