Strength:
handles good, is good for races, & gets good gas milage.
Weakness:
Ford didn't wire the twin brake lights on 93+ models, just left the second set sitting in there >:( you can rewire them, however by bridging two of the wires :) lil heavy too, that is all I've owned this car for about 1.5 years & took it to the local drag strip only 2 times (dont want to tear the parts up), and beat every car i raced (3 Camaro z28's , 1 Camaro w/ an lt1 engine(almost got me), & a few monte carlo's. I'm keeping this car until my mustang gets all the way fixed up. it seems this car gets me in too much trouble street racing ;D now it has a homade cold air intake, port & polished myself, supercharger running at 14psi, & homemade exhaust. one of my favorite cars(that i can afford) :) Similar Products Used: mazda v6 mx-6 |

Cheap price, sporty looks, Mazda engine, aftermarket parts, Mine has the J-spec 203 hp engine;) Need i say more
Weakness:
It is a ford, despite most Mazda parts One of the sportiest best cars money can buy, and to the idjit who wrote the last review go to www.probetalk.com idjit. Good kick when it moves, good gas Milage, good handling.
Weakness:
Expensive parts NO aftermarket stuff u can buy.Tramission gets Overheat IF you are not Synctic Trans Fluid. EVERYONE should use Full Synctic Trans Fluid and save you transmission from overheating. A/C prob,cannot pull the Alternator out you have to remove muffler to take it out SMART people Design there cars that way huh.Ford people are very smart ...... BUY THIS CAR if you own a Bank. and then keep fixing it until you are bankrupt. Enjoy.... Strength:
Cornering, Acceleration, mazda built engine which makes the car atypically reliable for a ford. Also I still have the stock speakers which are 8 yrs. old now. They still rock.
Weakness:
Power options poorly built (FORD DID IT!!) Some problems with O2 sensors. Tranny hits pretty hard between 1&2, but htis developed after a few years of beating it. Go figure. When I bought this thing, ihad just gotten rid of my first car which was a 6cylinder buick. What a change. Test drive made me a little nervous because of the rough ride, but when I realized how this car cornered, my opinion changed really quick. I've pulled highway of ramps (the really tight ones) at 65mph which really is crazy. I was more worried about flying off the seat than loosing traction. Through the years it's lost a bit of it's preformance. Could use some suspension work and some new front tires. The weather really affects it's acceleration too? Either way, for a car with 125,000 miles it's held up better than most (and I mean most) cars on the road. |

It has a twin turbo engine. WHOOPED all cars who challenged!! I hav won over 4,000 dollars on this car by illegal street racing.
Weakness:
there are no weaknesses but a little heavier than most sport cars. This is the fastest car I ever drove!!! I raced a 2002 Corvette and smoked it with out a problem. It runs very good and clean. I recommend this car foe anyone who wants to kill civics!!! |

Strength:
Look at the body. It's sexy point blank. Motor held up wonderfully through all my abuse and she ran like a champ even in the snow.
Weakness:
brakes. And possibly tranny. then again 203,000 miles you can't really complain. Oh and two words for the probe designers:CUP HOLDERS! lol Poor car needed one. I loved my car. About a month ago i had a rear end collision in her and she was totalled. Before that i was amazed. I got the car with 160,000 miles on her and even on the day of the crash over 40,000 miles later, she was running strong. The most I had to do was to get the alternator rebuilt. In comparison to other cars i've had that's pretty freaking good if i do say so. she blew away a friend who had a grand prix after he shot off his mouth about leaving me in the dust. I still find that funny and for all the talk of little room in the cabbin. drive a mercury tracer for a while you won't complain another moment of your life lol. In honesty I only wish the car had have had a drink holder and hadn't taken abuse from the whole planet while i had her. she held up wonderfully. Wish i could find another one so badly but the pickings are slim since Safe Co, the other guy's insurance is screwing me over royally. accelleration after 2nd gear, top end, electronics
Weakness:
miles, she has 119000! but still strong This car is quite the machine, some people think just cause it is only the 4cyl. that it doesnt have hwat it takes, well im here to tell them off. My 2.0L tops out the speedo(120mph), and you can still feel it accelling, It has headers, but i still need a performance muffler, and am going to purchase the Venom 400 which will add about 40hp, with the headers and muffler to give the 2.0L aprox. a total of 180hp, now if that aint a kickin 4 banger, i odnt know what is! handles like a dream. Turns plenty of heads. Extremely fast for the price. Kill list: 95 non-turbo toyota supra every civic i ever raced 2000 monte carlo ss 2003 honda s2000 3 honda preludes basically any 6 sylinder domestic (camero,mustang) ect...a hole BUNCH of 4 cylinders
Weakness:
really bad engine right before 100000 miles(i don't know about after i guess we'll find out)....Water pump, valve cover gaskets,bad o2 sensor,brakes lock up, battery failure This car is very nice car for my first car. It looks beautiful and runs great. It has 95000 miles on the clock and still running strong. This car will turn heads again and again with just an after market exhaust system and the stock chrome swirlies :) Similar Products Used: N/A this is my first car..... |

Great Handling Gas Mileage is Good Pretty Fast Shifts Nice Very Little Road noise Drives Smooth 89 and barly any rust
Weakness:
Had to replace fuel pump after a week. A/C dosen't work I bought this car from my cousin and with 160,000 miles it still runs and sounds incredibly nice. There is no road noise and the interior is awsome. Power everything and a digital dash. The engine is a 2.2l inline four DOHC. It isn't incredibly fast but this car can get out of its own way.
