Strength:

Very Quick, nice engine, good looking interior, ( exterior too ), and the headlights are sweet.

Weakness:

I haven''t found any up to date yet!

Very Overall Sweet Car, Very Quick, extremely underated 2.0 engine. The GT''s are too common and SE''s too, i have a base model and its cool, i can modify it and all just like others.

Strength:

great looks(still looks modern), comfortable to drive, plenty of toys, quick and fun...cheap to buy and great value for money

Weakness:

parts in the uk are expensive and performance parts are hard to obtain (can anyone help??)..mazda dealer knows more about the car than ford dealers do

I have the Ford Probe 2.0 which is a very under rated car..i''ve had it for a few months now and love it!..its great fun to drive and looks sexy..(the price above is in pounds sterling)

Strength:

Styling, power, manual trans, and community support.

Weakness:

Exhuast, door panels, squeaking, 02 sensors, automatic transmissions (Ive blown 2, NORMAL driving)

I knew exactley what I was getting into. If you don''t know anything about Probes then the first thing you MUST know is how to turn a wrench. True, if you drive it nicely and keep it maintained then it will be fine. But as soon as you think its going to uphold your abuse for an extended period of time it WILL BREAK THINGS. I have owned 4 Probes so I kinda think I know what I''m talking about. Feel free to email me anytime with questions. Also, the Probe community is VERY supportive of ANYTHING you have to know about your Probe www.probetalk.com I was the VP of Norther VA in our club and currently the North Eastern Section of the US has over 2,000 members. If you are looking for a car that runs great, sounds great, gets good gas mileage for the engine (I get 25-28 on my V6 Manual) then the Probe GT is for you. Did I mention the STANDARD 164 HP and 160 TQ? My car has over 245,000 miles also, but I also have invested thousands of dollars in modificatins alone :)

Strength:

Plenty of zip, great styling, easy to maneuver, good in rain/show. Very comfortable for shorter person.

Weakness:

No cupholder, inconvenient ashtry, no intermittent wipers. Problem w/water coming into windows - dealer could only pad the door interiors better. At almost 8 years old (52K), rubber looking a little worn around "fishbowl" windows.

I love this baby! Best car I''ve ever owned! Just read review of Malibu, Taurus & Grand Prix. In need of larger car, so will probably stick with Ford. Very few problems over the years - I''ll miss they cutey! My neighbors'' 17 yr. old daughter is gonna love this car.

Strength:

The handling and power of this little machine. This car has been underated by many of my friends who think its slow just by looking at it. Especially my friend with a 1970 Rally Sport Nova. It has a 350 and it had no chance against my car.

Weakness:

Nothing really. Maybe the auto seat belt thingy. but thats easily fixed.

I have a 1992 Ford Probe LX, but i swapped the engines and it has a GT 3.0/V6 in it now. The car is fast. I would race almost anybody at the drag strip. I am going to add a Big Bore Monza exhaust system. Maybe NOS later but not for now. I plan to add a rear wing and neon lights in the next few months along with the exhaust.

Strength:

Good looking car. Not bad on gas. Handles great. Seat are comfy.

Weakness:

Looks like a sports car but has the power of a Escort. You can''t see anything out of the rear hatch.

This Probe has 130,000 miles on it and drives like a new car. The 2.2 is a bit of a dog but then again its not a 5.0 Lt mustang GT. The car sat for 2 years so it looked bad but started right up. I gave it a tuneup, front brakes,$20 wheel covers and a coat of wax she runs and looks good. I think this is a great little car and the price was right (free).

Strength:

handling is awesome! Comfort, fuel economy, sporty looks, precise shifting, and plenty more!

Weakness:

NONE!

I have A 1993 Probe. It''s 4cyl, 5spd and it runs great, it is very quick and handles with plenty of confidence. I test drove many Probes including two GT''s. and I have to say that the 4cyl in 5spd is as fast if not faster than the V6 auto.

Strength:

where can i start it is a quick little car with the heart of a porche.

Weakness:

In the months that i''ve had it i''ve only had two problems. I had a digdital dash board that went out. The belts sqeak all the time.

Don''tlet the name scare you away from the awsome power of that 3.0 V-6. when it wants to move it does.My probe is an LX it came to me with KMC wheels and a APC sports muffler. it handles like a brand new car I could go on but I can not.

Strength:

That incredible Mazda drivetrain, with the 2.2L tubocharged four''s torque. The Ford body -- styling and integrity (even the paint still looks new). Handles like a slot car, yet the most comfortable car I''ve owned.

Weakness:

The exhaust system rusted out at around 50k miles, and the tail lamp gaskets went at about the same time, letting a lot of rain water into the trunk. Both were easily fixed, though.

I bought this car new in 1990, and can''t let it go! It has been extremely reliable and is an outstanding performer. The 1st-gen. Probe GT is probably the most underrated car on the road -- which leads to that look of utter shock on the faces of other drivers when I leave them far behind.

Strength:

Front wheel drive, manufactured by Mazda, good gas mileage compared to other cars. Great acceleration.

Weakness:

It''s basically a Mazda with the Ford logo on it. But that is not enough to say it is a bad car.

I love this car. It has a really sharp look to it, it handles extremely well. Running on a Mazda 626 engine, it has no problems going where and when you want. Anyone who wants the sports car look and feel, but doesn''t want to spend a fortune, should definitely buy a Probe. It is well worth it!
