Strength:
Ambitious styling, up-holding engine, and smooth shifting transmission. Good engine power.
Weakness:
Too stiff of a suspension (I guess for thoughs sharp curves and hair pin turns.) Noisy engine (when idling) I''ve driven this car over six thousand miles already and have not had one complaint. It runs execelent and is great on gas mileage. Alot of people like the style and compliment me on it. It''s nice to look out of your window and see people stairing at your car. The seats are comfortable, but not alot of space for those people with long legs like myself. I have to squeeze throught the steering wheel when I want to get out and I''m only 6". So all of you taller people would not like the seating inside of the car. So you''ll just have to admire the outside of it. Also the engine idles kinda loud. Or maybe I have a probalem already. I''ll find out sooner or later. Similar Products Used: 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse. |

Well its a great 2nd car. It takes corners great. And it picks up the ladies...lol.
Weakness:
Well, where do I start? 1st mine is an automatic. Ive had the trans rebuilt twice, then I had to replace it. I had the engine replaced. The auto trans had a call back on it for all years. But when I went to get it fixed, they said the call back had run out!! And they couldn''t do anything for me because they had no more records of what the problem was!! I have never spent so much money on a car and it still not work right. It has the patend Mitsubishi tick. Well, its a great looking car. |

Strength:
The Talon has great handling and power. You get the power of a gas guzzler without actually paying the cost of one.
Weakness:
I''ve heard alot of Talons have had problems with electrical. My Talon however hasn''t caused me any problems there or anywhere else. One weakness though is repair part reliability. Finding a certain part for a Talon can be a headache. My Talon has been one of my best financial choices yet. I''ve had very little problems with the car saving me alot of unwanted expenses. My gas mileage is great getting up to 33MPG on average. The car handles great and will really give you a kick of power when you want it. Similar Products Used: NONE |

Strength:
Very tight, responsive, comfortable, stylish, good on fuel. Lowest drag coefficient of any production model car that year
Weakness:
Is it a Mitsubishi or a Chrysler product? Finding a "specialist" to service it not easy I thought I got the deal of the century when I compared my exceptional purchase price with dealer retail at the time; but only 8 mo''s later (12,000 miles) I had to replace the transmission, head gasket, AAAGGGHH!! $3,100 in one day. It''s a good thing I LOVE this car, or I''d shoot it. I don''t think I''ve ever liked I car so much. Similar Products Used: None |

Looks really good, turbo is fast. Doesnt need a lot of things to soupe it up.
Weakness:
Back seats.... sooo small....... I Love this car!!! It looks soo good and ridez so good. Its a 5spd but the bad thing is that it doesnt have turbo. To convert it its a lot of money. I love driving fast and I really want more horespower cuase 160hp aint doing nothing for me. I had to get the waterpump, timebelt, and main a/c belt but i mean thats all part of the maintenance and for a while i dont have to change it. I want to custom pain it to pearl blue. Right now its red with black top. I Love this car and I would never sell it back!!! Similar Products Used: Celica .....mustang,,,,, but i wouldnt want any of em |

Awesome performer and gas mileage in all weather conditions. Great looking machine
Weakness:
Get rid of the back seats This car is state of the art. I''ve had it for two years now and feel that it is the most satisfying car for the cash paid. The car handles like a dream in all types of weather, especially with AWD and ABS systems. I''ve had some problems. The first was the CD player crapped out on me, but was replaced under warranty. The second was a burnt out intake valve and ABS module, again replaced under warranty. All in all this car is a RIOT to drive and I recieve a large number of compliments on the car as well as offers to sell it. Similar Products Used: mustang GT, Prob, camaro |

Strength:
Good pick-up, stylish, lots of room, good gas mileage, good engine
Weakness:
Power windows came off track, speakers are factory quality and needed to be replaced after 5 years. Over all, the car has been great since my mom bought it in 1991. It became my car when I got my license 2 years ago and I haven''t had nay major problems with it. I get compliments on how new the car looks, even though its over 10 years old. The car was worth the $16,000 in 1991. People have offered to buy the car from me because of the good reviews they have heard. The car is easy to update, but some parts are hard to find since the line has been discontinued. Similar Products Used: 1990 Plymouth Laser- not as good as the Talon |

Eagle Talon DL
Strength:
Nice looking car. Engine runs on cheapest 87 octane gas with no pinging on accel. or hills. But barely has enough power to climb hills anyway. I once beat a Yugo in a race. And that was the only car I ever bet in this Eagle. Volvo 240 wagons beat me. I''m humiliated!
Weakness:
Valve Tap.Tap, Tap, Tap! Noisy lifters. Numerous squeeks, groans, noises from engine, pulleys, etc. DEFECTIVE WINDOWS! TIRES MISMATCHED TO CAR -- tires are 14" 70s, they squeel like Starsky and Hutch car even going slow into a turn! Valve gasket leaks. and leaks. Mystery radiator leak. Weak brakes. Terrible shifter! Notchy. Gears grind. Reverse very hard to find. Groaning sound from rear suspension. Paint chipped off wipers after one year! Slow acceleration, and after 3000rpm, you can rev it as high as you want, but it''ll just make a lot of noise, and WILL NOT go any faster. Body of a Ferrari, guts of a Yugo! Stupid Little Car! I''ve babied this car, yet it barely holds together. Rarely exceed 3000rpm, oil every 3000mi. Engine is weak, build quality is POOR! Mystery valve noise that baffles dealer. Noisy lifters. Crummy engine. This bstrd child of Jap engineering and U.S. assembly got the worst of both worlds. Car rattled loose after 30,000 miles, many components needed replacing. Got the impression car was sloppilly thrown together in assembly. Don''t buy this car. Only plus is friends who got the turbo AWD spend fortunes on timing belts.. I''m still on original timing belt at 104K, but that''s about the only thing that hasn''t broken! I bet I just jixed myself too! Similar Products Used: Eagle Talon AWD Turbo - same lousy build quality, but it''ll get you from point A to point B a lot faster. |
