Strength:

Turbo really winds up nicely. AWD is a very nice touch. Nice lines, and great seats.

Weakness:

No back seat leg room, but who needs it?

The 95 Talon I bought is an awesome ride, It will hang with the best of them. And it handles much better than my 91 Camaro and my brothers 2000 Mustang GT. Not to mention that it looks really sweet. A little better car than my 1991 Ecliipse GS-T.

Strength:

quick reving accessable power at low and high RPM''s lightweight superior handling quickest car ive ever been in comes with great factory short-shifter easy to "gut" for race use

Weakness:

turbo longevity is lower(90000 miles if lucky, mine lasted 196k miles!) expensive magnesium rims

wow, this car handles great. it responds extremely well to mods ana has a huge aftermarket. the insurance coust are outrageous but well worth it. this car handles great in snow and is hard to hydroplane. for your buck, it is the fastest car in stock form. with few mods, you can get a 12.5 14mile at about 110mph. you also get excelent gas mileage if the car is maintained proplerly.

Strength:

Extemely fast car, a lot of fun and hamany upgrades available.

Weakness:

When this car is at idle in park or drive it makes the most annoying ticking noises from the valves. I am not sure ho to fix them other than just change them, plus when he engine is hot is does not want to start.

This is a great car and in my opinion, very very fast. I have beat so many cars with it and no body expects it. I have the turbo FWD and only a few bu nnoying problems with it.

Strength:

The car is very fast, and underated. Many supposed faster car owners (e.g mustangs) look down on Talons as "pretenders," but on the road it''s another story. I feel the car is better at faster speeds than lower. At high speeds, its got a kick to it, especially when you click the power switch. Good looking car, definitely a chick magnet if the car is in good exterior/interior looking shape like mine. Great combination of looks and power, for a lower price.

Weakness:

The car may be high maintenace, especially if you don''t work on it. You must replace parts at times, which may cost you. The dealers always have the parts, a little pricey however. The internet is a great way to buy parts for lower prices. You must shop around and pay attention to the car''s needs. If you treat it mechanically well, it will be a dependable car. Interior space kind of small, but you must accept its not a passenger car, except for two people.

I love this car!! It helps to have friends though. Friend sold it to me for 1500. Interior was in great shape, except the leather front seats. Re-did them, awesome leather interior, grey. Black car, spoliers. Everything works. If you "stay on top of it" it''s a great running machine. Nice look, fast car. Great handling, tinted windows. The previous owner "ran it into the ground" practically. Had to change many things. Luckily had a little money to spare, and a mechanic friend (low, low, prices). Changed the water pump, timing belt, alternator, sparks/plugs, head cover gasket, brakes. Rebuilt tranny, runs like new!! I love being inside the car!

Strength:

Great styling; fairly easy on the wallet in terms of maintenance.

Weakness:

The purchase of a used Talon (or Mitsubishi Eclipse) is a risky proposition. These cars have a high appeal to teenage boys and as a result, there are a number of them in the used car market that have been abused, particularly turbo models. A good many of the reviews written by alleged owners who claim to have beaten everything from Corvettes and Mustangs to Tomahawk missiles are b.s. I used to own a turbo Talon and while they perform reasonably well are definitely no threat to V-8 powered muscle cars. Those considering the purchase of a used Talon or Eclipse should check the ownership history of the car. Another hint...if it has an aftermarket stereo or has a hole in the dash where the radio used to be, the chances are it''s been owned by a gearhead and subjected to abuse.

Our Talon is a second car, and since my wife hates shifting gears, it had to be an automatic. Since buying it, it has developed an occasional hard starting problem that the dealer has been unable to diagnose.

Strength:

Oh, they have these????

Weakness:

The whole car is a weakness, I have replaced just about everything on the car and of course it''s sitting outside and won''t run, I''m told it''s the computer this time, but can''t find one to replace it..was told you can''t locate one, because they had such a problem with these..besides the timing belts, axles, brakes, turbo, transmission, air conditioning, window tracking, struts, harmonic balance, alternator, water pump!!! Can you say LEMON LAW!?!?!?!?!?

My advise to anyone who owns one....sell it now!!!! This car is a nightmare, the worst car I have ever owned. I don''t know where to start...there isn''t enough room on this summary page to write all the problems I have had with this gem!!

Strength:

It goes fast, looks good, and I love the sound of it when it''s running.

Weakness:

My computer tore up on it and that caused me a lot of problems, and now the a/c is messing up, but I think it just needs gasing up. It''s also very hard to find modifications for it like Euros and that type stuff.

This is a great car. At first I didn''t even want one of these, I just thought they looked nice, but I got it anyway and I love it.
