unreliable, one problem after the other.idling is horible lots of rattles in the truck with two tens in it but i fixed that.

first is first my car is beautiful and ballsy this thing is fast. i have i 93' tsi engine in it and it hauls ass but it is one problem after the other.

Very Fast.

Idle, Throttle Body, O2 Sensor, Timing Belt, Water Pump, thermostat, Alternator,Windows, all electrical components.

Fast car, handles well, but mechanically disabled.

Very easy to modify to make big power. Good looking car even though its almost 12 years old. Parts are very easy to find and cheap to buy through www.dsmtrader.com . Very strong engine; stock internals will support up to 350hp. AWD provides great traction at the drag strip and piece of mind in foul weather.

Transmission is a bit notchy in 90-94 cars. All Wheel Drive system adds about 300 lbs. Low mileage cars are getting harder to find.

Ok, first of all, get this straight. 1. this is not the most reliable car, if you want reliability, go buy a honda or toyota. 2. 95-99 non turbo models are completely different drivetrains, so when your pos nt goes to bad, blame chrysler, not mitsu. 3. visit www.dsm.org to learn more 4. as with any other car, if you do not know anything about cars, have a mechanic inspect it first, before you decide to purchase. any car that has been beaten on most of its life will most likely be a money pit. 5. timing belts are not a problem as many claim. manufacturer recomends replacement at 60k mi. what do you expect to happen when maintenance is not performed?

sometimes the rear suspension squeaks a lil bit (but i make it do that!)

well, first off, the car looks sweet... i bought the car with 97K mi. on it and was looking forward to it 'cuz i know the reliability of the 4G63 motor in it... it now has over 112K mi. on it and each mile gets faster. i beat the crap out of it, have slightly modified the motor, and will continue to do motor mods until it is as fast as i want it, i love this car and plan on buying another one if it blows up a definate buy if someone wants a car with alot of stock power and wants the ability to do some simple modifications

Excellent gearbox (altho 1st was way too short to be of any use); good handling, especially at highway speeds; solid brakes w/o much fade; decent acceleration (even tho I only had the 140-hp motor)

Somewhat goofy seating position (I have sorta longish legs, so I had to sit with my knees splayed out to the sides owing to a too-big steering wheel); pronounced blind spots at 4, 5 and 7 o'clock.

The day I bought it, the windshield wiper on the passenger side broke. Then the clutch went. Then, about 2 months after I got it, the engine packed up. Completely siezed and died. I liked the car so I figured I'd invest in a new motor and have (mechanically) a pretty-much brand-new car for a total investment of about $11,000. Two months after finally paying off that repair bill, I totaled the car in an accident. Ain't life a box o' chocolates....

Timing Belt is defective, Lifters are loud, Window track was off, water pump, stalled all the time, Rough Idle, Engine coolant leaks, Oxygen sensor

This was the worst car ever!!! Dont buy this car and if you did sell it and cut your loses.

OK!!! I love my Eagle Talon I think that those who say that it is a piece of crap just don''t treat it with care or the person before them hasn''t. My car has had a thing wrong with it and looks runs and rides great!!!

I loved the look of this car, that is why I bought it. And because I got a great deal on it. In the year and a half that I have had this car I''ve replaced the timing belts $350, tranny leak $200, and put tires on it $450. I replaced the alt. and pwr stearing belts myself at $27 and an hour of work. If it didn''t cost me so much I wouldn''t be selling it. If I had more money to throw away I would buy another.

Looks great! I get compliments on it all the time. Great gas milage (town 26-28 mpg) (highway 32-34 mgp) Easy to keep clean.

Parts are expensive!! Not very roomy.

I bought this car 6 months ago with 53000 miles on it and I LOVE it. In January, I spent about $250 on repairs. (A broken wire in the multi-function switch, a couple blown fuses, and replaced a couple spark plugs) Other than those repairs, there hasn''t been anything major. The previous owner had it for 6 years and told me that he never put a dime in it. It was recalled once for something minor (not while I owned it). I would recommend this car to anyone. I believe that with proper maintenence (and not beating it) you won''t have much trouble other than the normal wear and tear.
