This car has lots of power. Turbo lag only on automatics 5 speed rev um up and watch them go . Great looks fully loaded you cant go wrong. My car has a 1/4 mile best ET of 14.589 at 91.483 mph completely stock . E-mail for details.
Weakness:
I bought my car used . I had major problems at 41000 miles. My bootom end walked pistoms lost compression so i bought a new GSX bottom end and rebuilt the Talons head . Now im at 50000 miles I dont drive hard on the street any more but I took it to the track I was curious. Well you know I never heard or seen a stock Talon match my time . But hey I got time slips and witnes. I also replaced timing belt , plugs , wires , Fully synthetic oil only. Well im a weekend racer and and the car surprises people when i pop the hood and its COMPLETELY BONE STOCK and I just wooped ther V8 or rice rocket I might sound cocky but hey lets line them up. The car over all handles good Has Neuspeed 2 inch drop in the front and a 1.8 in the rear it handles great its a littke to low . Var does eat gas and requires lots of maintence but you drive one and you cant let go . If you want one E-Mail me for best price. Similar Products Used: I drove every honda Acura you can imagine . There fun for little toys but nothing compares to the wrath of a Talon. |

I'd have to say the strength is the power. Nice fast car. Also very pleasing to look at.
Weakness:
I have already had to have transmition replaced and the timming belts never seem to be right. Tones of little noises that I know are going to cost a pretty penny. My Talon is my baby. It is my first car and I am looking into getting a new one. Probably the 98 Tsi Turbo. Although there seems to be never ending repairs, I drive my car over a great many distances and I love every minute I spend behind the wheel. Similar Products Used: It doesn't compare. In a class all it's own. |

fast, good radio, nice interior, if you wash it all the time and really keep it clean and waxed, it stays sharp. nice paint job, just keep it up. good on gas, even though gas is so high now, crazy world! very comfortable driving, not in the back.
Weakness:
well, i've had it only for 6 months, so these were my problems, so far, lock on passenger door broke, a lil rust i've noticed on the bottom, but then again, its older. one thing mechanically, ignotion coil, and wire set, 400.00 bucks. i found it out tonight, thats why im looking up these reveiws. otherwise, the horrible blind spot that takes three months to get use to, the ashtray is so little, and its so tiny in the back. donnot buy if your a mother, no room what so ever...no room for "anything", but my junk and clothes. very sporty car, perfect for a youngin like myself, 23 f. fastest car i've had, and i've had 6 cylinders in the past, this is a 4, so it does have power...... Similar Products Used: 92 grand am gt, well i loved the pontiac , but that car was a disaster. many problems...i recked it thats why i choose a dodge product now. |

Strength:
Strong and fast engine, specially when some upgrades are performed like air intake, header and exhaust.
Weakness:
Shifter gets in the way of the radio when in 1st and 3rd gears. You can fix this by taking out the shifter and getting someone to cut a 1.5" section out of the middle of the shifter, then weld back together. With the shifter lowered it really makes a difference with the driving too!! Excellent drive for the dollar and if you have the money you can take this model and turn it into a real head turner. I have spent about $5000. cdn on rims, tires and after market performance parts. I have had the car for about 8 months and no problems at all. I'm told the timing belt should be done at 90 k's. not many weakness's. wish i had the turbo version. the pop up headlights are a pain in my neck. parts are hard to get but easy to fix. i really like this car needs so body work but nothing extreme. handles extremely well and for a non turbo 4 it's pretty fast. i'm going to be moding the engine so i moves evan quicker. it's got 130,000 miles. haven't had any problems with anything yet. Will suck your wallet dry when repairs are needed. Amazing car even though mine's an auto! Got this car for roughly $4000 US and it had 122,000KMs on it! Looks good, and this little 4 cylinder turbo is a mean machine on the streets. I've had no problems with this car other than the waterpump going (usual car stuff, and it WAS used) and the parking break cable seems loose. Amazing handling and pickup, and the interior really compliments the rest of the car. I've taken out a few 5.slows over the 8 months I've owned this car, and I just love the suck-back feeling you get in your seat when you really give it some gas and you hear the turbo spool up. This car is highly recommended to someone who wants pay little for good performance, and if you dump a few thousand into these robust 4 cylinders, they become real road rockets! really fast, for the price, it was a steal, good trunk space with the seats folded down, good leg room, in the back too, its not to bad for a car this size, buckets and interior are well done
Weakness:
well when I first start the car this a lil squeeking and it goes away in 10 seconds thats about it haha Handles awesome, performance is great, all those lil kids with there Civics and Integras, ohh I take those guys out easy, I can take out a V6 Mustang no problem, well I cant quite beat my dads Lexus GS400, that car is really powerful, well I got 260 hp and my dads pulling 320 at the wheels well anyway he paid $45,900 I paid $8415, well I put a K&N Cold air intake, and a Catback exhaust system, and I bought Forged Pistons and rods pistons werent to bad $158 for 4 the rods where a lot more $700 for all 4, well there worth it, cause I'm gonna put a G20 Turbo on it, I also got 660cc injectors already and a new reinforced Oil pump, preparing the engine for the huge Turbo, I should be getting at least 340-360 hp at the wheels, planning to get a lighter flywheel and drive shaft, how much is this gonna cost me like $ 6000 more, well its worth it, plus the car will last longer engine wise from all the durable stuff Similar Products Used: well I drive my dads Lexus GS400, its kina comparable, 0-60 mph I'll be pretty close with it, but that cars just explodes after that it hits like 100 mph in 12 seconds so just imagine |
