AWD = 100% hook up (how many 2 wheel drive cars can you rev up your engine to 6 grand and drop the clutch and hook up, throw your head back in your seat, and smoke some other car
Weakness:
well when you beat on cars.. they do brake ... but hey they are fun as hell to drive it that way! over all.. alls i can say is that my 93 Eagle Talon TSi is one kick ass car. by far my best car, granite i am only 18, but i have driven some fast cars, and even faster than my car, but for the price you pay, you get speed, performance and handling comparible to much higher priced cars. Similar Products Used: elcipse(not comparible) lets just put it this way... 2001 fort mustange GT, smoked it from stop light to stop light with out a prolem.. and just a dam 4cyl.... you other Eagle lovers know what i am talking about |

This car is AWESOME, whenI baught it for 1200.00 these were OLD people who were gonna die and didn't want it. This car was fast stock, the paint job was really por, I stripped it, added some body mods and a kit and primered it, that is how it currently sits. I am waiting for warmer weather to paint it. It is always wet in Oregon.
Weakness:
This car has a Weak ass clutch, it is always grinding in second, that is my next thing I need to do to it. I put a header, exaust, cams, sprockets, and intake on this thing, and I have spanked just about every car on the road, the only car that has honestly beat me was a 2001 mustang equipped with NOS systems. NO JOKE!!! This car is awesome, but of all things to start glitching out on me, My seat belts are not working. I have also begun putting red leather in the interior, and it will go well with the silver paint when it is done. Overall, this car fixes up VERY nicely, I would encourage anyone to buy one. Also, my speedometer broke when I hit 130, can you beleive that, now the damn thing is gonna cost me awhole lot to fix. They are like plug in consoles if you ever take it out you will see. Similar Products Used: The Honda Civic, I had a 96 Civic, that thing was weak stock, and weak with aftermarket parts, I would take a talon over it any day. The newer one is going to be the car that follows this one. |

The timing belts are made to exact proficency. I like the room in the car. Its a sports car so duhh!! they are made to be small or don't buy a sports and stop complaining. Strong motor going on 200000KM runs like a charm with high grade oil.
Weakness:
The seat belt covers crack after 6 years im told. mine went the past winter but was easily replaced for 59.95 on e-bay. also the stain what i've saw in all the talon a yellow streak from what I don't know. This car is sick. Sooo good ! best buy for your buck. It may need the high grade oil from time to time, but it can take beating, the timing belts after 9 years are still the original. front right strut replaced after 50000KM unbalanced, capacitator Similar Products Used: 91 TSI and 97 Sprint GSX twin -cam profiled. |

Speed and cornering are the best features the car has to offer. Where else can you find a 4 cylinder car than can outrun v8's all day long? I have modified mine to an SMALL extent and still use factory parts and beat 5.0 mustangs all the time even modified stangs at that.
Weakness:
It does eat up timing belts at every 50,000 miles or so but thats cause the cars tend to be driven rather hard alot because the rush from the turbo is so awesome. Never had any real problems with mine but then again I take care of it as well. keep the oil changed and tune it up like they recomend and it will take a beating and keep running strong. Good product, well balanced car. If people would just do the basic tune ups and regular oil changes on them they would not have a problem. As to parts breaking and rattles and other Major problems. Drive like you have some brains and it won't fall apart. yes mine does break alot BUT I race mine against v8 cars at the track alot. Funny thing is for a 4 banger, I sure win alot against the v8 guys and the honda's don't even come close and they have to spend 3 times as much as I do to even get close enough to red my tags lol. the strengths with this car is definitely in the looks, in terms of bein sporty car is great, i love drivin it, can go very fast.
Weakness:
endless mechanical problems, i have put almost as much money into this car in the last 6 months that i have had it, as the original price i paid for it. Had to replace the engine, battery, and fix the window on passenger side. these cars are not manufactured too well mechanical wise. I feel these cars were more or less thrown together, but i have to admit my talon is still my baby. Ovarall, the talon serves its purpose for me bein a single woman with no kids who wants to have a affordable sporty car to show off and have fun driving. Just hate the mechanical problems its always seem to have. Similar Products Used: no comparison, this was my very first car |

The car is QUICK!!! Its really fun to drive and the gas mileage is phenomenal. I've dusted my Dad's 2000 Grand Cherokee off the line by a mile. For a little 4 cylinder, it really holds its own.
Weakness:
I've had a lot of small problems. The brakes are terrible and every time I think I've fixed everything, something else breaks. The transmission is a little rough and shifting from first to second is the rough part. I love my car. Its quick, handles like a dream and is such a chick magnet. However, its also a money magnet that loves to eat away at my wallet. I would suggest that this car is for someone who can fix small problems on their own instead of paying for mechanics all the time- that would make it a lot cheaper to own. Its really a lot of fun to drive on nice, sunny days with the windows down and the stereo up. Similar Products Used: I used to own a Dodge Daytona (may it rest in peace) and the Talon is much quicker. The Talon is more comfortable inside but I still love that Daytona - your first car always sticks with you!! |

Well my car takes a lot, because its my every day driver and it holds up good. This car has about 190K and i have no problems with it. The transmission runs great.
Weakness:
Well parts are a high priced, partly because its an older model, and dicontinued. Its a great little car, they hold up great. Similar Products Used: I've driven a honda civic, and a dodge shadow. Both were nice cars, but they didn't have the sporty exterior and quickness of the talon. |

the all wheel drive kills everyone off the line, its a great handling car and and the pickup is unbelievable. theirs so many modifications you can do to this car. I like being able to do a burnout with an all wheel drive car.
Weakness:
their is no space for passengers in the rear seat unless their about 2 feet tall. I would recomend the talon awd tsi to any speed enthusiests with a tight budget. this car is an extremely reliable car if you take care of it and dont run it into the ground. I have never had any serios problems with this car. Similar Products Used: None |
