Strength:

Stylish, fun to drive, back seat has alot of leg room suprisingly, controls are all nice and close corners well, flies down the highway

Weakness:

Leaky seals on windows (repaired under warrenty, noisey roof rain sounds like your standing under a tin roof, couple of recalls (check them out before you buy)

Well I think it is a great car and I am just about to get rid of this collectors Item the last Dodge Avenger ES ever made (1998) Wife, Kids and Dog have come along and this is no family vehicle. 205,000 kms on it. Do regular maintence checks get the timing belt done every 100,000 and this car will last forever.

Strength:

Interior look, Exterior look, options (if loaded)

Weakness:

Takes like 4 seconds after flooring it to get it to downshift. Engine sucks, 2.5...did they think they were pulling a neon, they shouldve given at least a 3.0, and a stick.

Had a 91 Beretta with 198k miles on it. My Beretta was faster but this one had all the creature comforts. The leather and interior are great, even though they couldve gave me a voltmeter gauge. Its dark green and has 57k on it.

Strength:

Good gas mileage, overall look, dependability, desent factory sound system (Infinity) and comfort

Weakness:

Under powered. Sun roof hung up from time to time.

I purchased the car new in 1996 and sold it in 1999. It was fully loaded, all options. At the time of sale the front end had problems but was correct by the recall. I enjoyed the car. I used it as a work vehicle and put 210,283 mile on it. I went through 4 sets of tires and two sets of brakes. No major breakdowns. I had it serviced every 3000-5000 miles.(I was a contract communications worker at the time and traveled the US)The Avenger had nice lines and was very comfortable on the highway. The women liked it!!!

Strength:

stunning style, all the style of a sporty coupe with the practicality of a much larger car.

Weakness:

OK, it's not all that fast on the straight up to 60mph, but it kicks ass on cornering compared with the flashy sedans with their so-superior drivers.

Such a pretty car! I looked at it twice and rejected it because the engine was a little small... Third time, I drove it and fell in love with the noise and the ride and the precision steering.

I've owned a 1972 lotus elan +2s 130 and a 1971 Datsun 240Z. The 'venge is much more comfortable and practical than both, beats the Z on all counts, but the Lotus is the king for performance and handl

Strength:

Powerful, great sound system. The 5-speed I had before the automatic was great.

Weakness:

Bad turning radius. Breaks are not sufficient for the weight of the car. A lot of manufacturing flaws.

Nice looking car, breaks are to small for car, spant a fortune. Tar leaks out of door panels. Overpriced for it's flaws. Chrysler does not stand behing their product.

Strength:

The Speed is Great, the corners are now fun to drive and the looks are undoubltadley one of the best, espcially with 17" rims, body kit and spoiler. The sound system with the 6 speaker infinity backing it is awesome. I put in my own subs to add to the effect.

Weakness:

The engine design SUCKS!

To start off, i absolutley love my car. It looks great and has plenty of racing power with the right mods. I have not lost a race yet and where i live there is plenty of competition. I have the v-6 although i wish i had the i4 stick. When i got the car i had to replace just about everything and since then i put 2000 dolloars in parts alone that broke (water pump, starter, engition module, crankshaft sensors, oxygen sensor, exhaust, rear wheel bearing, all front joints with no zerg fittings, fuel pump relay switches X2!) The cost is soooo expensive do to the design of the engine....the worst ever. To do a spark plug change i have to take the entire intake manifold off! Besides that i love it!

Model Reviewed: Dodge Avenger - Auto 2.0L

Strength:

- Looks (Many compliments!) - Front end. (There is something about it that makes it look elite.) - Rides beautifully. - Roomy. - My little 2.0l peaks at 100mph, which is good enough for me. - Not too many made. (My car is unique.)

Weakness:

- Takes forever to get going. - The windows leak. - Front end is too low to the ground. - It's hard to see out the back window. - No place for my Dixie horn under the hood. :(

I've had this car for a while now. It's black and it's very sweet looking with tinted windows. I've done a lot of work to this car, simply because of my own stupid actions, but it's still going fine. The car is reliable and I have never had any real problems with the car itself.
