I love the accelleration and the overall look. The sound system is definately a plus.
Weakness:
I''ve already noticed the rotors are starting to grove out. The breaks squeak all the time (drives me nutts). The turning radius needs improvement. I''m 6''4" so the fit was tight but negotiable. The car was absolutely emmaculate when I bought it and it looks good on me. I''ve been lucking so far, I ''ve had no issues worth mentioning. Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
Top end speed, takes awhile but have broke 130. Awesome tight radius handling, 17 " low pro tires stick like glue thanks to i/dw suspension
Weakness:
interior noise is excessive. Also has one of the longest lowest front ends i have driven. Although I must admit that initial acceleration is somewhat mediocre, higher speed performance is truly a blast. At speeds over 30, even with my auto trans, by proper gear selection and keeping the revs at 4500 +, there is great fun to be had. I especially love to leave 6 cyl mustangs and camaros in the dust by walking on the pedal at hiway speed, 70, O/D off. I''ve driven a mustang gt as well, and while i''m toast off the line, the gt cant hang with me on tight corners. Really peppy...smokes past an Accord and is more fun to drive. Really great suspension in the Dodge version.
Weakness:
Don''t open the windows in the rain. you will get wet. I am really surprised at how much fun it is to drive. When the 2L 16 valve gets over 4G it really goes. I like the 5 speed with it. It might seem gutless without it. I bought it knowing that the old style head gasket will eventually leak oil. The dealer promised to go 50/50 on it in the next year. Similar Products Used: None |

Acceleration (after mods), looks, sound system (not stock, it sucked), strong body and great paint.Really nice car but from what i hear there are a lot of junky avengers on the street so if you are lookin to buy on i would really make sure it is alright. But i have had no real problems with it.
Weakness:
the only problems i have seen are the brakes and a squeaking noise come from the back right of the car. I think it is a strut. Dodge should hace also put more work into the engine, but easy fix for great speed This is a sharp car. It is a 4 cyl. 5 spd. I have done some mods to the car and it really moves. The car is a head turner. It is sparkling silver with a bra and 25 tint windows. When I first got the car i was kind of dissapointed in the car pick up but with some easy modifications it really moves. Especially for a 4cyl 2.0. I have raced and beaten muctangs, cameros, ta''s, etc. i also have a new sound system and 18 inch rims. Similar Products Used: ???????? |

Weakness:
Breaks and the odd squeeks (most chrysler products have the same sqeek) My parents have bought a 95 Chrysler sebring when they first came out then when i tuned 18 in feb my parents bought me the 95 Dodge Avenger, So far the family enjoys the cars, only things that have been replaced on my avenger are the breaks but thats something the family is used to. I have a tranny leek but thats getting fixed. Similar Products Used: Chrysler Sebring |

Looks. You will get numerous stares and head turns in this car. The power is also excellent.
Weakness:
It really is a sports car which means only a 2 seater, because no tall adult can sit in the back seat with a tall driver at the wheel. The front seat is practically touching the back seat. My car looks GOOD and I have no complaints about my driving experience. I have never had any problems with my brakes or engine. It has its scheduled oil changes and it is good on gas. I do not abuse my car but I do take advantage of its horsepower. It is a great car with sleek style appearance that draws alot of attention when flying by. This car is good for people who thrive on the attention. If you like power and good looks then I certainly recommend this for you. On the other hand the avenger does provide a smooth ride on long distance trips. Similar Products Used: Dodge shadow, Acura, Volkswagen Jetta |

Nice looks; roomy inside; comfy ride; overall fun to drive for price
Weakness:
Did I mention it was underpowered? Leaks black goop from doors; windows do not seal properly after being down; tranny is a piece of crap Horribly underpowered car (V-6 version). A shame, too, because it is a looker. Great room inside (I bought it b/c a carseat fits in the back with ease). Some quality issues, but you get what you pay for...did I mention that it is way underpowered? Similar Products Used: Prelude |

Brakes, pick-up, heating/cooling system, windows don''t completely close to prevent water leaks. I have to admit that it is a sharp car. But that''s as far as it goes. Mechanically, it''s a piece of junk. My husband and I purchased the car 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems. We''ve taken the car in for service 11 times that we can document. The biggest problem is the brakes. The whole car shakes no matter how far in advance the brakes are applied. They need to be replaced, on average, every 7,500 miles. I find that rediculous when the dealership charges $300 a pop. The rotars have also been resurfaced twice. We have never owned a Chrysler product before and as a result of this, we never will for any future purchases. I recently traded in our other car for a Pontiac Grand Am GT, and I am thoroughly satisfied. When you end up dumping an arm and a leg into the car, who cares how many people admire it?
