Chris you must be crazy

Strength:

Well it has a v-6 but it cant even get out of its own way its so slow.

Weakness:

Yeah refer to the summary

This car is the biggest piece of junk we have ever bought.Im having constant brake problems the squeeking will drive you up the walls, the tranny is leaking bad.The car couldnt make a u-turn if it had five lanes to do it in.Rotors already bad after 2 months.Windows on the doors dont seal.Funny thing it says Mitsubishi all over the cars parts but it doesnt run like Eclipse i had.And i was only offered 5,500 trade in and i paid 11,500 for it this should have told me something.

Strength:

looks, top speed, sound system,comfort

Weakness:

speed, and the widow thing when wet out side(no biggy though) but right now i haven''t had it very long.

overall the car is cherry. right now the thing that annoys me is a whistle sound when i''m driving ne where from 45-65 mph. the brakes sqeak but work well. i had a 93 laser before this car and lets say i miss the gas mileage. i have had my transmission rebuilt but at no cost to me(under warrenty) car has a good pick up, ive'' been up 115 mph in a short strech. but i agree with the pthers about it needing more muscle to look the way it does and have the size engine it has. it had 1 owner before me and he had a system i don''t know if my speakers are blown in the front or the are hitting the screen on the door. oh well. my car has 70,000+ miles on it and it still "seems" in great condition. although all the other reviews on my yr car haven''t given me a fuzzy feeling. i plan on souping up my car, so i don''t know what will happen to my opinion untill i add the performance parts. but for stock i have beaten a soup up nissian pick up, a souped up 97 gts, most honda''s, and a brand new bmw gave me a run for my money. this car does turn heads and chicks love it. but i miss my lasers gas mileage.

Strength:

looks, speed after you get into 4th gear, steering, trunk size for a sport car, and comfortable in the front.

Weakness:

accelleration and back seat (it''s a tight squezze)which doesn''t matter cause I''m in the front.

Love the car can put many option on it plus not many people have it. take off is a little slow but i plan to fix that. The car looks very good but when Im finished with it it will look outstanding.

Strength:

My car has been very reliable. 100,000 miles and no major problems (except the wheels/tires). Interior is very roomy. Sound system (the optional upgrade) is better than Average. Wind resistance is excellent, (or maybe it''s the cars weight); either way, it handles 35 mph cross winds with relative ease. People like this car, and they tell you about it.

Weakness:

Turning radius is very poor, similar to that of a 1980''s 4 door. Slow, the car looks fast, but that''s where any illusion of speed ends. The factory stereo turned up with the sunroof open is very loud; loud enough I''ve been pulled over and ticketed by police. My ES came with 17 inch wheels. They look good, but the tire sidewalls are very narrow. The results: 1. They don''t keep a good seal and loose air over time. If I don''t constantly check my tire pressure, you will see me walking along the Interstate. 2. Avoid pot holes, 2x4''s anything irregular. I have a collection of 8 wheels, 4 on my car and 4 (3 bent, 1 good) in my garage. Alignment. I simply cant keep this car aligned; so my tire life is less than optimal.

My 3 year, 100,000 mile experience with a 1998 Dodge Avenger ES 2.5L V6 17 Inch Wheels, sunroof, winshield, driver side door, hood, ....

Strength:

The looks and handleing. No problems with brakes or tires, but I did buy racing rims and tires this year.

Weakness:

One word... POWER ...

Great car, not a lot of power. Could have been better. Great looks. Original sound system was good for about 2 years. Lots of neat little things you can put on it. I am an ASOG MEMBER and through them you can spice up your avenger, especially the lack of power. This car is a head turner. ?

Strength:

Handling is great. Nice smooth ride. Easy to work on at home(anyone who says different shouldn''t pump their own gas)

Weakness:

Slighlty underpowered but wasn''t meant to compete with the power of sports cars. Performance parts are easliy accesable.

I bought this car with 91,902 miles on it and have put on 22,000 miles on in the last year. I have not have a single problem with the car at all. A AEM intake, Aerospeed muffler, Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs, moroso wires and stereo equipment have been added.

Strength:

Handling, fuel milage, stereo, looks

Weakness:

power on take-off, would have been a GREAT car to make rear-wheel drive with a V-8 (Dodge needs one to compete with Mustang and Camaro that people can afford; unlike the Viper)

Overall a good car, room is good for a sports car, no leaks, rattles, or any other odd noises, radio is very good for a factory system, handling is close to excellent, the model I have is the 4cyl. DOHC and an automatic so take-off is a little sluggish, fuel economy is a BIG plus, smooth on interstate at cruising speeds

I have owned Mustangs, Camaros, Cavalier Z24, and this car is very comparable to those......except in power, handles better than the Cav & Mustang, close to the Camaro........I like the Avenger, would

Strength:

Everything, especailly all the heads it turns.

Weakness:

Nothing, it''s a Dodge, they don''t have weaknesses.

This is the best car in the world. Of course it''s better then any other car, becasue it''s a Dodge and it''s only a 2.2 liter, but it kicks the crap out of all those Chevy''s.
