Strength:

Everything is right where I need it in the dash. I dont need a degree to operate the cruise control.

Weakness:

Gas flies out of this car, if you drive a distance on a daily basis, I dont suggest it. And the cupholders....very wierd placing, when the car is in park they bang each other.

I love my new Nubira. It is such a luxorius car for so little money! I was originally looking at a Ford Focus but the smooth ride and extra features of my Daewoo won me over.

Strength:

Looks - I get lots of compliments on the appearance of the car. Mileage - Get good (not excellent) gas mileage. Dash - Lots of options within options. Not a lot of buttons and lights, but each button has layers. Comfort - Very comfortable car. Power - Has plenty of pep. I have driven this over the Sierra Mountains and down through central California flat lands. The car moves along at 65 or 70 without the slightest hitch. Sometimes I have looked down and caught the speedometer at 85 without realizing it.

Weakness:

Cup holder - in the wrong place (directly in front of the stereo) Room - could have a bit more head room and would not be comfortable for a very large person. Parts - I have not experienced this yet, but since there are so few dealers, I''m concerned about parts when I will eventually need them.

I have had this vehicle for 7 months and have had absolutely no problems. The vehicle is fully equipped - leather interior, sun/moon roof, AT, PB, PS, cruise control, AM/FM/CD, AC, fog lights, rear and side mirror defrosters - the only thing it does not have is power seats. The car averages between 21 mpg in the hot summer with the AC running constantly to 29 on the highway with no AC running. I love the car recommend it to anyone - for the money you get a great car.

Model Reviewed: Nubira II 1.6

Strength:

The handling is excellent and it is very economical. Tyre usage is good. Covered 45,000 kms and tyres are only now starting to show their age. Previous C200 Merc called for new tyres at 20,000 kms.

Weakness:

The air con doesn''t handle our high temperatures very well and the horn is a joke. The service centres need to be improved somewhat.

Excellent value for money. Roomy and well laid out. Other reviewers have passed comment about the poor position of the cup holders - but surely they shouldn''t be drinking anything while driving? The trunk is spacious and practical. This has to be the nicest car I''ve ever had - maybe not the best but certainly the nicest. The leather seats are stunning and it has all the bells and whistles of more expensive cars. Just to confirm my feelings for Daewoo I''ve just bought my daughter a new Daewoo Matiz.

I own a 2000 toyota camry, but myself and my wife that our nubira far better styled and designed.I have put over 30k miles in less than a year and I haven''t had a single prolem. In fact my other car has been in repairs twice. The nubira leaves my camry and my cousins honda civic way behind from a standstill and on the highway. As for after market products I have plenty on mine. I have implemented a cold air intake. In summmary I truly believe that the Daewoo Nubira CDX is an outstanding buy.

Roomyness, Price was excellent for a fully loaded car, Styling, good stereo, good overall quality.

Weakness:

Windows fog up too much, cupholders a in a bad spot.

I loved my Woo as soon as I test drove it! Beautiful styling, roomy family car at the perfect price...just what I wanted. I''ve owned it over a year now, 24,000 km and no problems. The staff and service at my dealership were the best! I would definetly recommend a Daewoo to anyone I know. If you are considerina a Kia or a Hyndai....check out Daewoo as well.

Strength:

quiet inside, lot of back seat space, comfortable driving

Weakness:

weak acceleration, high fuel consumption

i bought this 1.6 litre nubira sx 2 months ago for rmb240000(us$30000). this price is considered a fair price for a imported car in prc because the import tax is so high in there(200%). for a 1.6l AT sedan the acceleration is fairly good and fuel consumption is a bit too much(9.5km/litre), but the air-con is very good and noise inside the compartment is so low that i can listen to my car-stereo in a very good condition. all the electric parts work well at this stage but i don't know how long they can last.
