Strength:

Styling. gas mileage is good on hwy. Almost 35 mpg with 2.5 4 cyl.

Weakness:

Very unreliable
Always letting me down.
By 106,000 miles the car was practically totally rebuilt. You name it.
Even the clear coat paint (bad idea).

No. I cannot recommend any Chrysler product.
Every person I know who has bought one in the 90's has had major repairs
as early as 35,000 miles. When Chrysler puts it's money into quality instead of advertising, then they will make a better car.

Strength:

-Very Spacious
-comfortable
-standard models are VERY well equppied
-powerful
-relatively good on gas
-safe
-HANDLES GREAT
-JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR.....HANDLES GREAT!
-Great acceleration

Weakness:

-air conditioning needed to be repaired ( under warranty )
-heard reports of bad transmissions

I LOVE THIS CAR!

This has been a great and reliable vehicle for me. It's incredibly spacious and VERY powerful. It handles like its on rails, especially for a car of its size. It's got lots of 'bells and whistles' like the trip computer, compass, outside temperature, automatic climate control, and standard power everything.

I have heard reports of some transmission problems and a/c problems but I have not experienced any except for one a/c failure, but it was covered under my warranty.

I would deffinetly recommend the LH series of cars (eagle vision, dodge intrepid, chrysler concorde) to ANYONE. They are incredible to drive or ride in!

1995 Eagle Vision - this is actually what i own, but there is no vision reviews. The concorde is virtually IDENTICAL to the vision though, excpet on the exterior, but it has the same engine and mechanical parts

Strength:

Great looks, smmoth ride, good acceleration, very roommy, lots of equipment and value for the money.

Weakness:

A little too much wind noise. Some minor interior trim pieces look and are cheap.

Paid approximately $25,100 (sticker $27,100). Overall this has been a very good car, probably the best I have ever owned when value for the money is concerned. I have driven approx. 15,000 with only 2 minor problems fixed immediately and courtesly by the dealer. ( front alignment & air conditioner drain tube was loose and needed reattachement) Not bad when I had more poblems with my BMW's electrical system. It has enormous interior and trunk space for my kids and could definitaly take the place of someone looking for minivan size but who really do not want a minivan (like me). I have test driven a 2000 Concorde and found that most of the excessive interior noise complaints of have been resolved. The 2000 also handles noticebly better with the suspension upgrades and variable assist steering added this year. A LOT of car for the money and one I would recommend.

BMW 3 series. BMW is more refined and you pay for it dearly. It's also tight on interior space and I grew tried of lack of power (4cyl) Test drove a Mercedes C230(4cyl) because I was lured by the name and reputation. I drove it back to back the same day as the Concorde and I liked the Concorde much better. It drove and handled more smoothly and had much greater power and space. Although I'm resonably certain there is better quality in a Benz (although my tester had a bad stero speaker) you pay the price just like w/BMW.

Ride, Breakes, Shifting, Interior, Exterior, Cornering, Quietness, Acceleration,Sound System, Room, Trunk Space, Quality.

Weakness:

No automatic exterior lamps come on feature (like in GM cars).

I recommend Chrysler Concorde 2001 to anybody who does not care about jealousy from the Mersedes - BMW - Lexus owners (tell them about the price and features - then recommend a Prozac)
Infinity and Acura owners may join the party.

BMW 750: see comparison to Mercedes Benz S Class

deer

I own (owned) a 1995 Eagle Vision before a deer ran into the front end. Now my insurance company totaled it. It is the best car that I have ever owned or driven. I loved my car. There is nothing bad about this car. I used this car to drive between upstate New York (Albany area) and the Bronx, NY. I was getting 25 miles to the gallon on average. The trunk space is perfect and leg room front and back couldn't be better. The car is perfect for anyone; family, singles, college students. The LHS series is one of the best cars ever made and I am looking for a replacement for mine at this time.

Strength:

Cops don't pull me over beacuse they think I'm an old man in this car. The car was a gift from my grandma.

Weakness:

The tranny was replaced at 80,000. The A/C was serviced four times in the first forty thousand miles. It not working now at 95,000.Brakes don't last long. And the horn used to go off at night on ocassion.

This Car has had issues all over. The trunk used to pop open whenever, and the horn used to blow at times. ususally in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping. A new mod fixed that. The horn still does not work right. so I don't use it. If i use it to long for more than a second I blow a fuse and lose my tail lights. The A/C was fixed four times in the first 40,000 miles. It does'nt work now(95,000), it just spews out full blown heat. great for the summer time. I yanked the fuse. Put in brakes a bunch and the water pump took a dump at 80,000. This car is a piece of crap thank god I did not pay for it. I bought stock in the buss fuse company,(getting rich). I feel sorry for the bastards that paid money.

Strength:

Engine, that's if you have the 3.5 DOHC 200+HP

Weakness:

Transmition, Shocks and struts

Overall, the Concorde is good but will run into a few problems. Bought the car @ less than 75K and still driving at 200k+. Transmition was a pain to fix, as it went at about 150K. Repair cost approx. $2000 USD.
However, that was the only major problem with it, and considering the car is an 8 year old car makes it somewhat decent of a car. Doesn't compare to the foreign companies (Honda, Toyota, etc), but either does the price.

very comfortable car

Weakness:

after 130,000 km computer componants and air conditioning systems broke down the cost to maintain this vehicle after this kind of milage is prohibitive

(pre 1997 Model) - after 135,000 km and four years of comfort we ended up with a car valued at anywhere from $8,500 to $9,000. It would cost upwards of $3,000.00 to keep it maintained with no assurance it would end there.

Strength:

Very smooth ride, classy looking, good handling (I park at fast speeds and I can fit in a tight spot at about 20 m.p.h.) Smooth acceleration. Brakes great, and has saved me from some hairy situations.

Weakness:

Constant problems, gas mileage a little suspect (average 21 city and 25 highway, but what else is new!).

I have been thoroughly disappointed with this car. I have had 6 good months with this car, and that was the first 6 months that I owned it. The water pump has melted a total of four times, causing my car to overheat is some rather bad places (i.e. route 95 outside of Baltimore, the southside of Chicago). There are constant nagging problems that occur. The rubber weatherstripping along the doors is falling off, the locks don't always lock/unlock with the remote, the sun roof has broken so many times, the leather is of poor quality, and most recently the trunk doesn't close. Now I realize I have had the car for four years, and I have about 84k miles on it, but I take care of my car and most of these problems happened early on. I don't want to make too much of a generality here, but I think that I am going to away from Chryslers for a while.
