Strength:

Good looks, comfortable ride, impressive interior.

Weakness:

Road noise.

I commute nearly 90 miles a day and since I've bought this car I no longer mind the commute. The interior is *huge* as well as the trunk. For a car in this price range the interior finish is virtually unbeatable. The car handles very well on the highway as well as in the city and the gas mileage is very good also (22mpg on average.) This also has to be one of the best looking cars on the road today.

overall, I am _very_ satisfied with the Concorde.

Mercury Grand Marquis - the Concorde handles a lot better and the interior & exterior design are far superior.

Strength:

large roomy seats, and quiet ride

Weakness:

none yet

I love my Concorde so far. It is so nice to drive compared to Ford Tempo. I hope I don't have many problems with mechanical work, because I put a lot of money in my Temp. I will be happy with this change, because it rides so nice. Daisy

Strength:

Beautiful Exterior and Interior lines - very classy; Plenty of power on hand at all times because of good gearing; Interior room and amenities; Very attractive price for a full-size luxury sedan.

Weakness:

The Infinity sound systam in the LXi should use actual Infinity aftermarket-quality speakers, not factory spec units - they don't hold up or sound nearly as good. The sportier suspension in the LXi is also louder (larger, lower profile tires....)and showcases highway expansion joints a little too much. Slow-to-respond remote locks and trunk lid releases can be annoying too.

This is a great car - never had any major problems with any major systems. I've owned only American cars, and will continue to do so based on this car. This car perfectly balances ride comfort, handling, interior room, features, and price - you won't find a find a better deal that has this much styling flair and comfort. To all those people that bought 5, 6, and 7 year old used Concordes and expected no problems - Find ANY used car that old without any problems and you're very very lucky. I bought mine used straight off of a lease and have had NO problems.

1998 Chevy Monte Carlo - Concorde is MUCH more roomy and looks and handles better, although the Monte Carlo's new price was what I paid for the USED Concorde.

Strength:

huge interior, good looking, easy handling, comfort riding.

Weakness:

fuel consumption (19/mpg), slow brakes, soft suspension, windnoise occurs
over 100km/hr.

A/C out of order twice in the first year, water-pump replaced the next;
had size-up tires to 255/45/18, Falcon, Japan made which are much better
than the oe Goodyear GA.
Leather seats should be upgraded, mobilephone system should be installed
for the safety concern.
American made cars have a faster value depreciation compared to European or Japanese made cars, due to the strange habit among Taiwanese, anyway,
better car designs, after-sales service surejy can improve sales and change consumers' impression.

it was big and the paint was nice color.

Weakness:

EVERYTHING

Absolutely without a doubt in my mind the most horrible car I have ever owned, period. I put 73000 miles on this car and must say I never felt so ripped off in my life. Right from the start the moldings around the headlights started falling off, the moldings in the rear passenger doors would just fall off, the power seats stopped being power 3 times, it would go through tires like crazy, the cowl and and all black plastic around the car faded terribly, and a horrible wind noise from outside always found itself inside the car when cruising. The cruise control broke, the brake pads had to be changed often, the front end always vibrated, the radio sucked and the front speakers blew up. The suspension was horrid as well and the car rattled like crazy over bumps. To top it all off I got only $6800 on trade in<- talk about depreciation!. I will NEVER EVER buy another Chrysler product in my life.
